All went wrong, they ruined my life. The surgery went wrong and I couldn't work for 2 years with a bug amount of expenses. They refunded me only for one eye.

I had my eyes lasered at Visus in April 2024 (Relex Smile treatment) and I cannot be happier with the results! After years of wearing glasses or contact lenses all day long, finally I can go out without them and see every detail around me.
The process at the clinic was smooth. During the first appointment, the doctor checked my eyes and explained clearly all the benefits and potential complications of the surgery. I also received clear instructions about the next steps.
On the day of the surgery, I received a detailed explanation in English about the surgery and what I should/shouldn't do, as well as about the aftercare. I was a bit concerned about the pain or potential post-surgery complications, but none of them happened. It took me a couple of months to reach 100% vision (at the beginning my close vision was a bit blurry and my eyes were dry), but the final result was excellent.

Before the procedure I heard fears from others(who had never done it before) about lazer eye surgery. However, from my experience I can say that those fears were quelled by the Visus staff as they were extremely calm, friendly, supportive and professional every step of the way. They guided me and explained each part of the process so I was fully aware of what was happening. The procedure itself was quick and painless. Now after 9 months I barely remember ever having bad vision, as I’ve gotten so use to seeing so well now. When people ask me now how’s my vision I say to them, “I can see the future” :)

I could not be more happy to have chosen Visus for my laser treatment! I have done the Reflex Smile about a year ago now, and am sure happy with the result. The day of the treatment I really felt that I was in good hands at the clinic in Rotterdam. Everything was explained carefully and the doctor even talked me through what was happening during the treatment itself. My sight took a bit longer to stabilise then expected, but that’s very subjective. For example, I expected to suffer from dry eyes for longer than 6 months (because I already had dry eyes) but that didn’t happen! I’ve been now to the clinic three times for further check ups and the doctors have always took time to explain things to me and give me advice. The aftercare has been excellent. If you are thinking about the treatment, I’d recommend Visus 100%!

I visited the Kliniek with the goal of performing laser surgery in my eyes. Although I was a bit scared of the procedure, the doctors gave me enough confidence to go ahead. I decided for the Relex Smile procedure. Although more expensive, it was the one that made me feel the safest. I am completely satisfied with how smooth everything went and how safe I felt during the procedure. As many, I wish I had done it sooner... My sight is now as sharp as it could be, I am very satisfied with the results.

From intake to post surgery follow-up everything with Visus gave me the confidence to move forward with such a big decision that I put off for many years.

If I had advice for someone considering SMILE procedure, the only thing I'd say is don't wait any longer. It's changed my daily life, with zero negative experiences. Would highly recommend Visus.

In September 2023, I had laser eye correction using ReLEx SMILE technology, and I am thrilled with the results. The procedure was incredibly quick—I couldn't have imagined it would take only minutes! In fact, the preparation took longer than the operation itself.

The staff was courteous and professional, ensuring that everything was clear and smooth from start to finish. Remarkably, I could see without glasses immediately after the operation, and it was fantastic! Additionally, the recovery process wasn't hard at all.

Very happy with the results and care! As soon as I had the first appointment (intake) - I knew this was a good choice. I felt looked after and they were very professional. On the day of the surgery I felt comfortable and the doctors were very clear on how the procedure was going to go - the recovery time was even better than I was expecting. 4 months after the surgery - my quality of life has increased since I don't have to wear lenses or glasses - this was by far the best decision I've done and sad I didn't do this sooner. It is now one year since I had my treatment Relex SMILE laser and I am very happy about it, I regret I didn't do it before.
My view was really good already after few days. You have to put the drops every day carefully but that is normal and after approximatively 6 months I didn't have dryness anymore.
The experience at the clinic was also very good, they are available to answer your questions before and after the treatment. The surgery is very fast, around 10 min, without any pain and the surgeon is explaining step by step the procedure, that's very reassuring!

I’ve had my relex smile eye surgery more than a year ago. I was a bit afraid of it, but everything went smoothly and fast, and was explained well.
So far I’d say I’m satisfied with the results, didn’t notice that vision has gotten worse.
though sometimes I have migraines when light feels too bright, probably because my eyes are very sensitive.
Overall, if you contemplated for a long time whether you should do the surgery, I’d say definitely do it, preferably relex smile, it’s worth it!

I can't say enough positive things about Visus. From the initial screening appointment to the outpatient instructions, they are all incredibly thorough, efficient, caring, and helpful. For years I'd dreamt of getting LASIK and when this became a reality, the team at Visus made sure all concerns were quelled and that I could be genuinely excited about this life-changing procedure. You might have to wait a few months to finally get the surgery, because you will need your intake appointments and the contact-free period of letting your eyes adjust, but, let me reassure you, this is so worth it. If you have any hesitation about LASIK, you should let Visus be your chosen eye clinic and you will be so happy you did.
