IVHQ made volunteering overseas much easier than I expected. The application process was straightforward, and whenever I had questions before I left, the team responded quickly and made sure I knew what to expect.

Everything was well organised, which made travelling overseas for the first time feel much less stressful. The information provided before departure was really helpful and meant I felt prepared when I arrived in Vietnam.

The volunteering experience itself in Vietnam was amazing. I loved being able to help people in the local community, meet volunteers from different countries and experience a completely different culture. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had, and I'd definitely recommend IVHQ to anyone thinking about volunteering overseas.

I went out to the Philippines a few months after my 18th birthday. I was taking a gap year and travelling by myself. When I reached my accommodation in Palawan I was welcomed so warmly by not only the staff but all the other volunteers there. I made friendships I will hold with me for my whole life and I am forever greatful that I met them. I did 3 weeks in childcare and it was the best experience ever, the children and the teachers were amazing and so encouraging to work with. They are beyond words and I am so lucky to say that I had an opportunity to be a part of their lives too. There’s so much to do in the Philippines and so much to see, I was lucky to have a group that wanted to see as much of it as we could so we had the most fun ever. Thank you Palawan and IVHQ for that experience of a life time.

It was great, great people

It was amazing. My whole experience with IVHQ was really nuce and I liked it. IVHQ was a good support and organised everything I needed. It was easy to organise everything because of the check-list they had. After my arriving the support of the local team was perfect too.

My Jamaica experience was great because it allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone, connect with new people, and make meaningful memories while serving and helping others. I loved being able to learn about the culture, build relationships with the local community and see the impact that small acts of kindness can have. The experience challenged me to grow in my faith and appreciation for the opportunities I have. It was rewarding to work alongside others who shared the same passion for helping and creating a positive difference.
IVHQ does a great job of creating opportunities for volunteers to make a meaningful impact while also providing support and guidance throughout the experience. They connect volunteers with local communities, organize programs, and make it possible for people to serve in a way that is safe and structured. The organizations made the trip feel purposeful and helped create an environment where volunteers could learn and grow.

My experience with IVHQ absolutely exceeded my expectations and was so amazing, the staff were so friendly and really created a positive and welcoming environment, my only regret is not staying longer! I will definitely be back in the future!

Livia and Elio were amazing! Elio went diving with us every time and Livia and Callum were working to let us get the 24-hour camera ready to be left on a deep coral reef shelf to survey the fishes that came through in a 24-hour period. We also surveyed the seahorse population in the estuary. Th workers at the resort we stayed at were very friendly and helpful, and the Aquaholics dive shop owners and crew were also friendly and amazing!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with IVHQ. They are professional, competent, knowledgeable, supportive, and flexible. The in country staff (Costa Rica) were wonderful. My volunteer experience was set up exactly as described, and I'll never forget the wonderful people I met.

Even though I was only there for a short period of time, I was given lots of support and felt like I really made a difference. The experience was a lot more hands off from Maximo than I had previously expected, but I really liked that, as it gave me the opportunity to try and figure things out on my own while having 24/7 support if necessary. This was my first solo trup, and I cannot think of a single part I would change. The housing was amazing, the recs were great, the work was fun and exactly what I had signed up for (and more), and it was an all around amazing experience and helped immerse me into the Peruvian culture.

It was more than word could ever describe everyone should live an experience like this one before finishing college it open my eyes on many levels

From start to finish , IVHQ provide support, checklists, guidance on what’s best and training; the training really enables you to know what to expect when landing in your volunteering country! The information provided on the programmes are precise and they ensure that there’s local support on the ground when you arrive!

I volunteered in South Africa in a township doing childcare, something I do as an occupation at home and it was truly special and insightful, alongside making amazing friendships with people all over the world!

My name is Katie and I had the most amazing experience volunteering with IVHQ. As a 16-year-old travelling abroad, I chose to pay a little extra for the airport pickup and placement transfers, which gave both me and my family great peace of mind. Everything was organised smoothly from start to finish.

I volunteered in a school working with 5-year-old children, and they were absolutely adorable. It was such a rewarding experience, and I made memories that I will never forget. The local coordinators and organisers were fantastic, always supportive, friendly, and available whenever help was needed.

IVHQ did an excellent job of ensuring volunteers felt safe, welcomed, and able to make the most of their placement. Their organisation and support helped create an experience that was both meaningful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend IVHQ to anyone considering volunteering abroad, especially younger volunteers looking for a well-supported and life-changing experience.
I would love to do it again and already looking into my next experience.

IVHQ are extremely supportive and trustworthy. They provide a very informative program guide and checklist which ensures you have everything you need! They do constant check ins and always provide support. The information shared is very real and it tells you exactly what to expect- there are no surprises! A member of the team collects you from the airport and ensures you are settled in- you also have an orientation day where you get to meet all of the managers and you know exactly who to go to for different enquires! The accommodation & food provided is of very good standard for the price. There is always someone available for help at night. I did my program in Tanzania- I did teaching. It was amazing! I learned so much from it. There was so much to do including the Safari, sunset hike, women’s outreach, waterfall, Moshi weekend, etc. all of these excursions were organised through IVHQ and I felt extremely supported on them all. If you are considering volunteering with IVHQ, do it! Don't hold back- you won’t regret it✨

This was my first time travelling abroad solo and I wanted to do something meaningful. After searching for volunteer opportunities, I came across IVHQ, and I am so glad I did! Everything was so organized and the people I dealt with were exceptional. If you ever want to travel by yourself and give back to a community, this is the way to go. I went to Portugal to volunteer at a dog shelter and it is a time in my life I will never forget. Thank you to IVHQ for organizing this opportunity for me.

Volunteering with IVHQ was the most amazing experience. Everyone was so helpful from the moment I signed up to the moment I got back home. The people I met along the way were so kind and it was the perfect way to step out my comfort zone. It was a truly rewarding experience.

Our experience was great because of the support that we received from IVHQ. We were introduced to helpful information and encouraged to prepare. Any questions or concerns that we had were addressed in a timely manner.

As part of the international mobility program within my studies at IMT Mines Albi, I chose to travel to Fiji to take part in a volunteer mission focused on construction and renovation work.
My main mission was to contribute to the construction of a classroom at ANDHRA School, located in Korotogo.
Although this experience was completely unrelated to my academic background in the pharmaceutical industry, it allowed me to develop a much broader range of skills and knowledge, both professionally and personally.
More than just an internship, this trip was a true life experience for me. Thanks to the entire team at The Green Lion, this adventure was incredibly rewarding and unforgettable.

Overall I had an amazing experience with Ivhq. I volunteered in Cape Town South Africa and I have never been so in love with a place. The culture and the people are truly amazing. I volunteered in a town ship with grade three and loved every minute of it! The kids are so kind and you can tell they truly love the help you have to offer. This experience will forever have such a big impact on me and changed me as a person. I would definitely recommend this to anyone:)
