I am starting to hate VUDU. I tried to purchase a season of a show and it has certain episodes that are not available. I've tried emailing VUDU twice and have gotten no response...that 72 hour response time is BS. I have called their "customer service" and have hung up on 4 different times. Seems like it would be a cool place to work though, I mean you don't have to do anything

I agree that Vudu is horrible. I lost the veiwing ability to a movie right in the middle of their conversion. Fandango forced me to sign on to Vudu. This is a rip off!!! No one response to emails and if you have movies with veiwing time on them you simply loose them. Use something else for movies you pay for.

I really hope the let us have the movies we rightfully purchased thru fandango and this doesnt become a civil action battle. Very disappointed the I wasnt informed I had to joint reload my movies with a different app i truly didn't care for after all the money we paid for fandango. We want our money back for all the purchases we made.

I have bought a movie and didn't finish the whole movie. When I went back to it, it was gone. It's like they just took the money. I have tried contacting them... that is even worse. Since Vudu sucks, I'm deleting the app on my phone AND Roku.

Let's not even talk about the merging of our movies from Fandango to Vudu. The process was atrocious at best. Now.... the app never wants to connect to the internet or is always loading. Every other app works great... but not this one, not just one TV but all 5 of them, tried all if the usual... reload the app. Turn of the TV, unplug the TV, delete the app for a day, reload the app a day later, Still a big NOPE... I have tried customer service but have never actually gotten thru to a customer service representative.... no matter the amount of times I've tried, just sit on hold forever. It appears they have spent all of their money purchasing Fandango and not actually putting any into their product. We won't be purchasing any further movies from them, unless they do serious some revamping. Also, wish I could move the movies we did purchase from Fandango to a source we wanted. Since we did purchase them, they should be ours and we had no say in the merger. Now since all of this we can't use them because the app sucks. So here we are. Word of caution to you. Don't use Vudu, you'll regret it. I know we regret Fandangos decision.

Do not use this service. I purchased FandangoNow gift cards before they merged with FandangoNow and it was stated that they could be used but when I put in the gift card number it states invalid. Tried emailing Vudu twice and no one has contacted me even though it states they will get back to me in 72 hours. Really enjoyed FandangoNow but really really hate Vudu.

This is an honest review. Tried the service for 3D movies which work good, but Please don't use Vudu unless you have to. And if you do, please use a disposable credit card number. Extreme "negative billing" practices. Once you use a credit card you are not allowed to delete if from there system without calling them. Also they don't even send emails or alerts when purchases, so a careless family member can easily cost you a lot without you knowing.

Since they took over Fandango now who I have been with since they started. I have lost all my Fandango now movies. About 200 of them. I cant sign in to fandango now, or Vudu, and no amount of calling them or writing them has helped me as of yet. This is such BS. I just keep being told to wait for an email. This whole transition is not going smooth.

I purchased a movie from Vudu. When I tried to play it I got a "will not upload" message. When I contacted their rep I was told that I had bought the movie on sale, but the price had gone up and if I wanted to see the movie I would have to re-purchase at the higher price.

So I can usually watch movies for free and such with my Firestick, but me and my girlfriend received some VUDU credits the other day. We tried to use our 10 vudu credits for a 4 dollar movie and we got charged $4 . We called VUDU and they stated they had to escalate this issue to a higher person. They also wanted to know how we acquired these credits and other things which I thought was a bizzare question.

I had previously wrote a bad review about Vudu. After I wrote a bad review they contacted me. I hate to say this but the fault was mine I didn't hook it up right and didn't click on the Walmart/ Vudu account. Something was wrong with the way I hooked up my Roku.

I'd probably also give them 0 stars if I could. I had a FandangoNOW account which I loved. Worked as everything should. Then was forced to move to Vudu because of the buy-out. Now my vouchers from FandangoNOW are useless and don't work. I don't know what the technical issue might be, but feel robbed. I contacted support on Monday (2021-08-09) and got an automated response that I would have a response in 72 hours. SURPRISE SURPRISE, it's Friday and here I am. No response. My vouchers still don't work.

After much back and forth and complaining to their support email, they eventually resolved this buy converting my vouchers to an new voucher code. It was at least 2 month of battling, so still 1-star.

If I could leave a zero star I would. I installed the app so I could watch 1 movie...1MOVIE... 5 hours later, still not done with the damn movie!! I paid for HD..but every 10 min it says if I want better quality to switch to SD. You can't rewind at all....ever. WORST STREAMING SERIVCE EVER

Nothing is working for Vudu - TV, smart phone or PC. Yet everything else (netflix, prime, hulu, etc) works on the TV and every website works on the PC - EXCEPT Vudu.

Vudu use to be a good place to buy movies from, but it can barely play sd quality. It constantly buffers and wants u to switch to lower resolution, due to its crappy application etc. I've purchased over 60 movies on this site, but not ever again. I have several 4k movie's that I've purchased, but of course you need 1000 Mbps speed to actually watch them in 4k now. Vudu what ever you did fix that stuff. Netflix can play 4K with only 40 mbps speed, get with the times Vudu. I have 300 mbps speed and Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and HBO work great. Fix ur stuff vudu.

I'm being spammed by this company. I thought it was a legit email sent to the previous owner of my email address so I unsubscribed. Now just getting relentless emails. Dodgy as hell.

Impossible to get through to the Customer Service Line. I have been on hold for over an hour. I have attempted using Vudu on 4 different devices and it keeps saying network error.

VUDU has been great for 5+ years. All the negative reviews seem to have connectivity issues or they simply don’t understand purchasing or renting digital content. VUDU (A Fandango Company) is an excellent VOD Provider.

Horrible company!!!! I purchased a movie for $6 and as I was in the middle of watching it Vudu turned it off and wouldn’t allow me to finish watching unless I paid again! Horrible customer service! If I paid for a movie I should atleast be able to finish it before it is removed!!!

Don't rent movies from Vudu. They must have very low technology. I started the movie and paused it one minute in and went to watch the rest of it and they wanted me to rent it again. When I contacted them they said I watched the whole movie. Very disappointed. They have a cool app. But no customer service with any means of knowing if you have watched what you rented accurately. Too bad. Lost 5 bucks
