I paid €4,040 via SEPA Express Bank…

I paid €4,040 via SEPA Express Bank Transfer for a Wacom Cintiq 27 Pro. Wacom confirmed the payment, then later denied ever receiving it. They ignored all my emails and refused to resolve the issue.

I had to escalate the matter further just to get a response. After researching, I found hundreds of similar complaints ignored refunds, defective products, and horrible support.

Never pay Wacom via bank transfer. If you ever have an issue, expect zero help. Better alternatives exist avoid Wacom at all costs.

Doesn't work with Windows 10

I bought a lowly Intuos Draw back around 2018 when I was studying game design. I was told Wacom was the only name in tablets. It worked away fine in Windows 7 but Windows 10? - forget it. I've watched the tutorials on YouTube and I don't want to become a programmer! That they actually have the cheek to label it as Windows 10 compatible tells me all I need to know about Wacom as a company. As for the industry fanboys, well, it's not their own money ...

UPDATE 12th. Jan: After a lost week (doesn't work with Windows 7 or 10) I did myself a favour and took a bolt cutters to it. I will now spend my money on non - fanboy alternative that works!

Not usefull

Worst case of big headed designers not actually think about what the tool is used for. Set up does not work, if eventually tablet is linked to a computer it does not work in any application and there is no "support" for set (the "how to set up" page starts with "where to by product" goes on to "What is adaptive scrolling" and "what does pen button do" - mind you there are two buttons and support does not know about the second and goes on what other useful features do, but how to set up the product to use those features is not there.
Avoid and get better pen pads from any source (even Chinese)

Poor quality product, even worse customer service. Avoid.

Avoid WACOM at all costs!! I purchased a Wacom One 12 pen display at the end of August to take with me on a research fieldtrip. Unfortunately the USB-C port on my laptop was not compatible (this is not WACOM's fault as such, but the guidance on this was confusing) so I was advised to purchase the bespoke 3in1 cable and charger.

As I was going away for 5 weeks abroad I couldn't purchase the cables so I couldn't use the Wacom for during my fieldtrip as I had hoped. On return I purchased the cables and charger (nearly £80, what a rip off!) but the Wacom display still did not work. The 3in1 cable supplied (costing over £50! was poor quality and the connector to the display itself was badly designed so it kept falling out). I'm not sure if the display is simply not compatible with my new Windows 11 Asus laptop or the cable is faulty or the display is faulty (or both). As WACOM support were not able to quickly resolve this I asked to return. They said as I had had the display for more than 30 days they would need to seek authorisation from above - but that was several days ago.

I don't know WACOM are seen as a market leader in these kind of pen displays, it is incomprehensible and a clear indication that a competitor needs to step in and show this company up.

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy an I-pad Pro and Apple pencil, I thought buying a Wacom would be a cheaper way of getting this functionality but absolutely not. What a disaster, and what a disaster of a company.

WACOM "NEVER" AGAIN!!!!

WACOM "NEVER" AGAIN!!!!

I have a Wacom mobile studio pro 16 cost "more" than 3000,- euro's. The first one I got had heating issue's and keep gooing off/shutting down. After many weeks complaining I finally got another one,
and I can tell you this one also becomes so warm that I always thinks it will shut down.
It is the worst product I ever bought, it becomes so hot, that it is not workable.
Before I had a Wacom Cintiq 24" that was better, but after this experience I refuse to buy any Wacom products. Wacom should be ashame of them self selling these products!
Do not buy Wacom tablets!!!!

Product broke within three months and general decline in quality

I've been using wacom for around 20 years now. I bought my first cintiq when I was 15, and the quality used to be unparalleled. I used that same cintiq without major issue for around 15 years before I upgraded to a newer model, and the only part I ever needed to replace were pen nibs. Within the first six months my new cintiq started to show signs of wear. The screen scratched easily. The cords fell apart. I had to replace nibs every couple of weeks it felt like because the nibs themselves were scratching the screen, and the pro pen 2 itself broke cosmetically within that first year despite me babying it. I upgraded again to a wacom movink less than three months ago, and while I like a lot about the tablet itself, the pro pen 3 that came with it has already broken under normal every day use. I tried to get ahold of wacom support to get it repaired, but I got bounced around between support regions and no one has bothered to respond to my open ticket since. This is the second pro pen I've had essentially fall apart within a year of purchase, and I can't believe the quality is this terrible for something so expensive and so necessary. This is my livelihood at stake, and I'm about to swear off wacom products all together because they simply don't hold up to regular professional use anymore and wacom support is absolutely terrible at resolving issues.

They don’t give updates of drivers

I like my drawing- tablet at my job. Only one thing enoys me soooo much!

As Wacom doesn’t update drivers enough l, they just assume, that you have (or should have) a newer tablet already…

I am very environmentally aware, and also i use some things for a very long run…

The drivers for for my MAC vs my Wacom drawing tablet are to old, although it still works for most of the time. It stops at the most irritating and stressfull momente in creating and my customer projects. And i need to restart my computer again, because of the Wacom tablet…
Really drives me MAD every now and then!!

Not sure if i would advice friends and collague or myself buy a Wacom tablet ever again.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

As with other consumers experiences below, unfortunately Wacom, are 'processing' my order before they can ship the item.

They are refusing to allow me to cancel the order, even though it is still showing as a 'pending transaction'. With no estimate of when this will be.

I have had to start proceedings to recover my money for a Cintaq 22.

Avoid this brand like the plague.

Wacom awful customer services in Germany

Please do not purchase a Wacom. I will explain why. I have had a very bad experience with them. I contacted them for advice about their products in November 2023 and they advised me I could purchase from their store and if I didn't get on with it I could return it within 1 month for a full refund. I ordered the Intuous Pro costing £449. It took about 2 weeks to arrive which compared.to my.usual experience ordering through Amazon is a long time.
The return took 7 weeks and another 2 weeks for the refund. During this process I tried to communicate with Wacom about the delays.and they were.not interested at all. They blamed their courier UPS for the delays and when I contacted UPS they blamed Wacom. Wacom customer services is.based in Dusseldorf in Germany and they really show no urgency at all in dealing with issues. I feel there is a language and cultural barrier. Subsequently I found out that I could have bought the product via Amazon UK for £340. I would strongly urge anyone to avoid dealing with Wacom irrespective of the quality of the product which according to numerous online video reviews is the market leader. However, Wacom (Europe) do not understand that customer services and support is of equal importance to the product! They use the same old trick of the language barrier to their advantage! Wacom should have UK based (english speaking and UK based) customer support!

Don't buy Wacom

Purchased online from Wacom. On delivery additional charges were requested. Refused. 10 emails to resolve. Wacom sent me one saying you shouldn't have had any additional charges. Fortunately Paypal refunded my money when Wacom refused to respond with the time limit set. Useless.

scammers

"I bought a Wacom Cintiq 22 on Amazon on November 22nd. One of the main reasons I chose the Cintiq 22, among other options, was that the purchase of the product included a free 6-month subscription to Adobe Substance (20x6 = 120 euros subscription value).

To my unpleasant surprise, the promotion no longer exists (it ended 3 years ago!); the ad has not been updated for 3 years. I have demanded accountability from Wacom, and they have told me that they do not take responsibility, even though they admit it's their fault.

They are scammers; I purchased something deceived by false advertising with nonexistent promotions, and in the end, I lost 120 euros in subscription. SWINDLERS! I am attaching images that prove my words. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WACOM!"

Awful company, overpriced and over-rated.

Awful company. Bought a Cintiq back in 2008, it came with dead pixels. They refused to repair as they said "there weren't enough of them to qualify". Classy.
Stupidly I bought the Wacom Mobile Studio Pro 16 in 2019 for over $3K, and at first was happy with it. THEN, after about a year or so, halos began to appear on the screen, Luckily that happened within warranty, and for once they deigned to repair it. However, beginning in year 3, the tiny and janky USB power jack began to short out. I've seen other users on YT with an identical issue, one going back to 2020, so their device was close to new! I was just barely able to use the device with this issue, but it meant not moving it, and locking the power cable in one position. THEN, an update (or some issue) caused crashes every time I booted. Factory reset not only didn't work, it has bricked the system. I sent in a repair request expecting a repair in the mid hundreds - mainly on the power, as that would allow me to use the gizmo as a cintiq if not a PC any more, but was flabbergasted to be quoted 1600 euro (I'd been quoted a similar price for an earlier request from their US division). That happens to be the same cost of buying a refurb from their site, so who in their right mind would do that? It would be safer to buy a refurb than to repair. This HAS to be by design, they clearly have no real interest in encouraging repairs, they just want to sell a refurb. I'll chuck this device into an e-waste dump (making sure to physically damage it with a hammer to prevent anyone selling it on or back to Wacom) before I give them another cent.
I should count myself lucky; other users describe the battery bulging so badly it pushes the screen out; now my battery was down to 65% before all this happened, so I don't know if it's even safe to use at this point.
Please, do NOT buy from this dreadful and greedy company. My only surprise is that they haven't figured out a way to trick us into renting their hardware on a cloud or some new tech horror scam.

New cintiq pro 27 4k, dont recommend it.

Well, purchased their latest cintiq pro 27. Nvidia panel showing it randomly as screen,it screws Nvidia settings, I have another 2 screens that worked perfectly untill I plugged in this wacom.
The ohhh so great new wacom pen 3 that you can suposedly configure in so many ways, when use any of the 2 grips that come inside, the buttons stay inside the grip which makes it completely unusable while their marketing says it stays out.
I chose this product cause said its HDR 400, 4k and 120 Hz so that I could have a monitor and a wacom within the same device, truth is the screen is super dark, you cant imagine how dark it its no matter what preset you use from the wacom built in menu, thats why need to use Nvidia pannel to make it brighter at the risk of getting the image burned or whatever.
The built in menu inside the wacom is a joke, so annoying you will swear each time got to use it. Anything you need to configure from that menu, you will have to navigate using the express keys on the sides which are as sensitive and bad placed that you will want to cry.
You cant configure nothing like brightness, color, contrast etc in any way throught your Pc/mac using their Wacom software. No matter what you try You MUST do it only through the built in crazy Wacom menu inside the screen which is as annoying you will regret spending money in it and not in another brand that seem to use their space better for things like this.

The worst part has been when I asked Wacom for help with all these issues and they really havent helped with nothing, the agent that attended me was as lost and clueless that I am still in shock, only said will escalate my issue and get back to me go figure when, he said 24/48 hours but we all know how this works.

This product costs near 4000 euros/dollars but the service they give you is like you bought a cheap mouse or even worse.
If they dont solve this, I am returning it cause its a bit too much, if I get it working remotedly like what they announce in their marketing advertishments I might consider on keeping it and change this post, otherwise this be my last wacom and I am one of those fools that have spent ashaming amounts on wacom products, patience has a limit.

Bamboo Slate useless

I bought Bamboo Slate on Amazon, at first I was very happy as device looked of very good quality and just what I needed.

I then tried to connect it to my Android Samsung phone and tried to sync a few drawings. Deawings showed well as previews, but Android app keeps failing exporting it to any format. It chrashes or reload after any export attempt. Additionally, drawings synced to cloud wouldn't export to any format as well.

Support got back to me quickly but effectively informed me that the team will look into it with no estimate when the issue would be resolved, and offered no workarounds or alternatives.

This experience is so dissapointing that if not addressed I will steer clear from Wacom in the future and share my experience with people i know.

I am happy to change this review if the issue would be resolved quickly.

Good product but let down by the company itself, very poor customer support/service and confusing website. I just want the correct driver for my MacBook Pro but can't find it. You can tell they're giving you the run around when when you keep returning to the same spot after clicking 'contact'. Quite telling also that very few responses to the many complaints on Trustpilot.
