Very unprofessional service

I paid £500 for training on the 14th of Nov ember 2025 after I had an email promoting their Oliver Mcgowan training. After speaking to Amanda and clarifying the structure of the training, I booked the training and sent confirmation of payment to Amanda. I waited for Amanda to get back to me to confirm booking and provide training date and venue details but I never received this. I have since tried to contact Amanda again on the number she gave me in her email address. I have also emailed to request a refund but no one has got back to me so my only has not been refunded.

The company is a complete scam

The company is a complete scam. I paid £2000 for a tier 2 combined train the trainer course. After months of hearing nothing and receiving no joining instructions, I started to investigate. Had emails stating I was going to get the refund but never did. Got told they were having problems with external associates etc. All sounded like AI generated woo woo nonsense. Avoid this scam at all costs. I have lost the full £2000. If I could score this company a negative score I would.

Avoid at All Costs, Paid for Training, Nothing Delivered!

Avoid at All Costs – Paid £500, Nothing Delivered!
Review relates to wardandhallassociates who promote various social care training courses through email campaigns, as there are other companies with similar name out there.
We paid £500 for Oliver McGowan Training and attended the training centre exactly as instructed.
No one turned up.
The venue was closed, no trainer arrived, and there was no response whatsoever to calls, emails, or messages before, during, or after the session.
This was clearly not a one‑off. There were 5–6 other organisations present, all of whom had also paid and were left standing outside with no explanation and no contact from this provider.
There was no cancellation notice, no apology, no attempt to rearrange, and no refund or follow‑up communication despite repeated attempts to contact them. Payment was taken and then nothing was delivered — not even basic courtesy or accountability.
This is not how any legitimate training provider operates. The level of disorganisation and disregard for clients’ time and money is unacceptable and deeply concerning.
Based on our experience, we strongly urge others to stay well clear. Booking with this organisation risks wasted time, unnecessary travel, and financial loss.
We tried to contact them for the refund but as expected, no response from their side. They still have the audacity to send us mailers weekly for other courses and even the course we paid for and were supposed to attend In Jan 26. Scam artists, avoid at all costs!
