Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the user experience, frequently encountering issues like terrible matchmaking with constant "uptiers" where they faced much stronger opponents. Customers also felt that the game's pricing and value for money were poor, often describing it as "pay to win" and criticizing the need to spend money to progress or acquire better vehicles. Some people also felt that the product's quality was ambiguous, with concerns about overpowered premium vehicles and perceived national bias in vehicle performance and game mechanics. However, a few other people also felt that the game was enjoyable and that many of the complaints stemmed from a "skill issue" or playing the wrong mode, highlighting that it is a free-to-play game with good graphics.

Better maps for norm people that can’t spend $$$

Your new fixes ? What a fn joke
The large maps are designed for the $$ tanks that can sit at their spawn and shot you as you come out. Next I’ve been shot through a concrete bunker ( I watch the replay) one game a $ tank was being shot by 4 tanks but he still killed all of them. WTH
EXP has nothing to do with that !!
I like the game but ITS NOT FAIR!!
FYI I not sure of all the dates these happen on
But they have

Decided to try this game out on PS4.

Decided to try this game out on PS4.

The concept is amazing. Massive attention to detail, addictive gameplay, dogfights and tank battles are intense sometimes and feel enjoyable…and that is where it ends.

In complete contrast to the enjoyable content…is the absolute scam of a game with tons of fine print and hidden costs! As a f2p player, the game will eventually prevent you from playing it completely. Yes, you will run out of “silver lions” (the in game currency for maintaining a “repair cost).

As a beginner, the game will quickly overwhelm you with hidden currency charges. Planes cost money to crew…on top of the ridiculous amounts of currency they cost to purchase. If you buy a plane and manage to afford the crew cost, then it costs for a “respawn cost” in order to even enter a game…if you don’t have that…well…now you sit in a 40 minute game to earn 0 credits…because you couldn’t afford the spawn cost.

Bullets, missiles, bugs causing you to die for no reason, it all costs in game currency…with a reward system that doesn’t pay out enough to keep playing as a beginner.

This game is the ONLY GAME in history that eventually just says “you aren’t allowed to play because you ran out of money, close it and wait a few weeks for repairs”. Absolutely mindblowing that the game punishes you for playing…to a great extent each time you play.

I’d love to enjoy this game…but the game won’t let me play anymore…what a joke.

Pro-Russian game that makes you grind…

Pro-Russian game that makes you grind and grind while gaslighting the player base that they asked for it...

You might want to speed up your grind by buying a premium vehicle... This will help until they nerf it into obscurity and raise the repair cost to make it the same as a normal vehicle. New premiums are over powered and ruin the game, and force you to invest, then nerfed once they sell enough of them.

The payouts you need are constantly diminishing so even with a paid account, and bought planes by the end tier you can't accumulate enough coin to buy the vehicles you paid to research...

Meanwhile the dev team and their sycophant GMs continue to gaslight the community pretending they did it all for them...

Earlier tiers are increasingly DEAD so you have to wait ages and when you get a game its all bots and you're forced to play higher tier planes if you get a game.

Don't support Russian extremism/terrorism and play some other better game.

Wish they would fix their game

Between the blatant Russian bias in top tier that you spend so long grinding towards and the insufferable game economy getting worse over the years that make that grind even worse im done unless they fix it.

The match starts, but...

The match starts, but no game function. After 3 minutes the match ends with a lock of 7 minutes.
The game is getting worse and worse.
Most annoying points:
Uptiering, nerfing, mostly no infos 'bout microupdates, changing of parameters, no changes of gamemistakes since years, cheater, extremely uppity, important admins and so on

Unfortunately Economy

Unfortunately, the economy in warthunder is getting worse and is troubling me to enjoy this game. Annoyingly, I need wo worry about siler lion, currency in the game, during the battle. Having not enough silver lion means unable to repair damaged vehicle in game and cannot purchase new ones.
