Horrible workplace. Feels like a cult, if you’re not part of the arselicking squad then you’re not considered valuable or worth the time. They sacked a manager, who was doing a good job, because they had hired another person and they didn’t want to spence out the extra salary. So they just straight up sacked him. They have no regard for their employees. The state of the yard is disgusting. Massive potholes and unsafe working conditions. No potential for growth even when promised. Kept hazardous items on site despite not having a chemist there for years, which puts every other employee at risk. During my time here, I was also left without a manager/supervisor for approximately 2 months, I was the only yard/warehouse worker there. the sales manager on site refused to help me tip vehicles, using the words “I think you’ll find I’m not a yard operative”. I got no thank yous or any type of appreciation for all the hard work I put into that place. They treat the hard workers like stock. Anyone looking for a forklift/yard work should avoid this place. Save yourself the headache.

Called for an out of hours service this morning and within an hour, Loretta had sorted it out for us. First class service from a professional company. Thank you!

For a company this size dealing with risky stuff you think they would have a safety manager. Well they have sacked the last two !

RANG US TO SAY THEY COULD GIVE US A BETTER PRICE FOR OUR USED OIL, BUT WE DECIDED TO STAY WITH OUR LOCAL WASTE COURIER INSTEAD SO WHAT DO THEY DO....JUST CAME AND STOLE IT ALL....THIEVES!!!!!!! RINGING POPLICE ON MONDAY AND HAVE VAN REGISTRATION NUMBER!

I asked for a quote for disposal of some domestic hazardous liquids, both by phone and email but received nothing from the company.

Awful people to work for. The way they treat their employees is disgusting. They use people and discard them before the two year service rule is up. They sacked a H&S bloke because he was to good. Awful company. Do not work for wastecare is my advice.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Asked for a quote for commercial waste and waited ages for a response. When I did get something back the information was incorrect. When I paid upfront the site address on the invoice was for another site. They finally gave me a date for collection so I advised my customer accordingly. This did not happen on the arranged day so they booked another date. This did not happen so they arranged again, the next day it did not get collected. Finally after 3 failed attempts they managed to get a driver to site. They then had the cheek to ask for an overweight payment. Shockingly bad communication and total lack of customer ‘care’ at every stage. Would certainly NOT recommend them.

Poor response to emails, poor communication, gave dates for collection of 2 IBCs (email confirmation of collection date), phoned them today, (collection date was today) the IBCs were not collected, phoned them, gave a collection ref number, they said they had us down for next Tuesday?, they said they would try and get it done sooner and would phone me back to let me know, guess what they didn't, i did have a quote from another company and they were twice the cost, so this proves that you pay for what you get, the building is coming down on the site the IBCs are at, we will be billed from the demolition company to remove them, this is now going to pass back to waste care to pay the demolishing company. don't use this company unless you don't care about when they collect and deliver

Their communication/booking system is terrible.

They re-scheduled multiple times. The driver turned up a DAY early for the first collection - my colleague happened to be there, but the driver refused to take the collection as he had already cancelled the order electronically on the system. They then sent us an email charging us a callout fee of £88 (which they did waive).

The company should make it clear that delivery times are an estimation.

Only good thing is that the customer service representatives were very friendly and helpful and have now issued us a full refund.

Waste Care bought the contract to take over bulky waste collections from my local council.

I booked collection...paid the fee...and places the items in the front garden the night before collection was due.

This was 5 days ago... Still no sign of a collection and every time I call I get a different excuse as to why the collection has not happened.

Not acceptable to take a fee for a service you cannot provide, I have another collection booked for this week as electrical items were to be done separately... I presume they will sit out in the garden for days on end also..

Professional Service, Fair Price, Quick Resolution

I was let down by another company and Dan from Wastecare came to my rescue. He cleared 60 pallets of mixed metals, plastics and electical goods for a reasonable price and in a very professional manner. His communication was excellent and the overall service was fantastic.

Will use again

Generally good but some problems with letting us know when the pick up was arranged.

The fact that the contract runs smoothly without taking up too much of my time is a good thing.

They quietly get on with the job in hand,always polite when I speak to the staff on the phone.

Waste care can collect and recycle almost anything you want at a very reasonable cost. They helped us out with clearing fridges, gas bottles and an old dishwasher. However, communications could be improved. Overall good service.

We found it very difficult to find someone to remove our old central heating oil tank. Waste Care did it very efficiently and at a reasonable price.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY HELPFUL AND EFFICENT

I was impressed with the initial service when my order was taken but the driver failed to ring me with pick-up time and I was sent an unreceipted invoice even though I had paid weeks before.

cheap price, prompt collection

Quite happy with the service. The only disappointment was having to chase Wastecare to arrange for a collection and it took somethime to get a confirmation.
