Mr. Johnny Richardson, Claims Manager from Watermans, branch in Edinburgh, successfully handled my case for compensation for loss of health as a result of a seemingly minor road accident. First of all, Mr. Richardson sent me for non-invasive medical consultation. And my car was quickly and efficiently repaired, the original front bumper was replaced in place of the crushed one. Our contact was via the Internet, only at the beginning I had to come to the Watermans office with the documentation necessary to conduct the case. The customer service at Watermans is worth recommending! Not only was I met with great kindness and patience, but also with professionalism, which is always beneficial in situations of conflict of interests - the injured party and the perpetrator's insurer. What is very important is the way the legal services were settled: Watermans simply deducted 20% from the compensation won and sent the remaining 80% of the compensation to my bank account. I must admit that this is a very convenient, non-stressful way of dealing with a law firm. - I would like to thank Mr. Johnny Richardson for taking on this case and for the final result, very positive for me, in the form of winning the case.

Time wasted. Promised, but did not deliver.

Spend three year with Watermans with two incident cases, with no material outcome. Both case were accepted, promises and outlooks were made. Everything progressed extremely slow, communications were poor, need to chase them to got any update on cases, usually there were no answer but a promise to got back to me later so it was dragging and dragging, with not sense of ownership. All story ended up to be a waste of time. Would not recommend, look elsewhere.

Very poor company.never again

Very poor company.
They start off by telling you how experienced they are!!
It soon changes!!
Loss of earnings was a joke,,,, they accept what the 3 rd party say - simply don’t argue your case.
NOT INTERESTED IN YOU AT ALL!!!
They do what the 3rd party says- what’s the point of that; can do it just as easy yourself.
I’m self employed and they got me the square root of her haw.
Waste of my time:(:(:(

Very poor service

11 months on from my claim and Still no pay out. They are charging a different rate from discussing at stat of the claim. They take weeks to reply to you and very rarely my claims handler answers her phone. Very poor service. Use Digby Brown I wish I had

Shocking service

Shocking service. Almost 2 months from start to finish to get minor damage on my car repaired after an accident that wasn't my fault. Terrible communication and coordination with the third party and I had to constantly chase the advisor for updates.

Absolutely would not recommend this company.

Completely unorganised

Continuously had to correct Waterman’s as they had incorrect details for my claim, despite being corrected on several occasions my claim was still submitted on incorrect info resulting in me receiving thousands less than I was initially told. Left for months on end with no update. Send someone to your home address to take a statement then make you give one over the phone anyway months later, likely because they lost the original I would assume after the service I received. Not worth the stress or lack of money.

Ultimately I got my claim so all good.

Ultimately I got my claim so all good. Albeit it did take 20 months. Not complaining about the time it took, just in case anyone expects a really quick turnaround with their claim, it might not quite happen like that.
The solicitor that dealt with my claim was really good too. They always got in touch when required and was always reachable if I had a question.
I would recommend Watermans to anyone.

I would highly recommend Watermans to …

I would highly recommend Watermans to anyone who was pursuing a claim. I was kept up to date at all times through communication by emails, letters and phonecalls and I can't thank them enough for the compensation I received which was much more than what I had expected. A special thanks to Alison Birrell who became involved towards the end and managed to secure a sum which exceeded my expectations. Friendly professional staff and a great result!

Watermans arranged everything from the …

Watermans arranged everything from the day of the accident from car going into garage, courtesy car, dealing with other insurance party. I am happy with final compensation as I had no stressful dealings with anyone throughout the process. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone as mines was a good experience. Thanks to John Kelly and his team.
