Really confusing application
Really confusing application. I applied for Royal Mail position - before I was even offered the job, for the application I had to upload, birth certificate, bank details, passport, driving licence, proof of national insurance, utility bill, bank statement, photos, DBS, CV... I just feel like those are all very precious and confidential documents to upload for a position I may not even get? Nobody explained why I had to upload these, and seeing as I wasn't uploading them to a government website, I just decided to not apply. If this company are genuinely recruiting for the RM, for clarity I feel like there must be a statement or at least an explanation!!! I didn't receive an email saying I'd been passed on to the next stage of recruitment or anything. I applied on indeed, and then got sent an email with links to fill out the forms. Very very concerning.
