Annoying Looped Video on Webpage

The Premium, paid version has nice features and I am overall satisfied. However, on the web home page they now force you to see annoying 2-3 second looped videos. If I want to read the story, I will click on it. Why introduce distraction to something I don't care about. I just want to read the forecast. The app doesn't have that "feature". Stupid.

I wanted to give 2 stars but did 3 for Jim & Wolf keeping things real. Dislikes is over emphasis on storms/hurricanes that are not going to hit land specifically the USA. OMG 40 straight minutes on the east coast! Then for weeks showing hurricanes from years ago over and over again. It seems like the WC is bummed out that the hurricane season this year has been minimal (thank God). Stephanie is a major drama queen that wants all the attention. And too much talk about climate change. Weather Channel has only one view on this and never discuss the other views that many experts hold that maybe the world is not in this situation. It seems like this is part of an agenda and only provides only one view. Stephanie & Jordan are over the top on climate change…the sky is falling. Kudos to Jim & Wolf.

It’s so frustrating to use their site

It’s so frustrating to use their site! Ads are running everywhere and rarely do you see the content you want without clicking and waiting and scrolling and waiting… then the weather guessers are either excited about the potential devastation of the weather or the lack of anything significant to follow.

Necessary information only, PLEASE!

I do not care for the overly wordy and time-consuming layout. 30 seconds for an intro? Waste of time. "The weather is (different or same) than yesterday." Waste of space. Most of the articles are a waste of brainpower.
Could you please create a basic format that has pertinent and useful information without the fluff? Thank you!

The Weather Channel previously was excellent. Now it not worth the effect and time to open the app. It was easy to navigate and responded quickly. Downgrades now are the normal and upgrades are not existent. These part of the IT department should be fired, including its management (in name only).

The forecasting is beyond abysmal. It is totally inaccurate. One would thing with all the meteorological models they would occasionally be correct .Thier rain forecast changes every half hour. Just terrible

Hurricane coverage

There coverage of active hurricanes is the best. But they make me feel like they are disappointed when there are no active hurricanes to cover. People like myself that live in Florida are very relieved. Also, I didn't care for there hit list in prior years. I don't think any city deserves to have a direct hit by a hurricane.

Absolutely worthless everybody expect a lot of rain today I'm another man canceling jobs lost about $10,000 today because they assume it's going to rain I should have knew better than to listen to them in the first place I highly do not recommend the weather channel to depend on anything if they say a hurricane or a tornado is coming don't worry about it just let your kids go out and play it will be fine I promise

Since the old familiar faces have been replaced…

Since the old familiar faces have been replaced by the younger "climate change" tree huggers, it has been a horrible and unreliable weather source. Inevitably everything screams "climate change", is a huge blue streak of boringness, and the weather is ten times more inaccurate now than ever before. I miss the old crew of folks and their experienced advice that was pretty much accurate for the most part. They were professional and pleasant. The current crew is cocky and arrogant. Pretty soon they'll be shaking fingers at Maga folks. You couldn't pay me to pay for this service now!

Unbelievable that a tropical storm…

Unbelievable that a tropical storm warning has been issued here in NJ. HURR Erin is way south and off of the Carolina coast and turning out to sea. Tropical storm watches and warns are up in NC and that’s it. Now my app says Warning for us up here ?!?!??
Absolute nonsense !! And I think it’s a scare tactic attempting to make everyone concerned about global warming !! Pitiful actually !!
I’ve been an avid weather channel watcher since I was 10 yrs old. I am now 50. Studied meteorology in college. That’s how much I like the weather channel. I’m starting to smh though. Please stop being fake and dramatic !!

Consumes two-thirds of page with ads

I agree that the forecasts are a bit shakey, but so many weather forecasts are. My problem is that when you open the webpage, it consumes 2/3 of the screen with ads and blank page at the top. I have now found other sources of forecasts.

What a trashy weather channel

What a trashy weather channel! The weather reporters, all white of course wearing tight short dresses, are all a bunch of Maralogoesque bimbos reporting dramatic weather events on a 5 minute loop. I realized this was maga state run television when they referred to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. That's when I got up from my seat in the lobby of hotel where Im staying and pulled the plug.
