I am a patient of Dr. Darla Rivera

I am a patient of Dr. Darla Rivera, Primary Care Associates, Wichita, KS. Last December during my annual physical Dr. Rivera found something in my blood work that concerned her about my kidneys. She had an ultrasound done and found that here were a number of small cysts on my right kidney. She did not think they were serious but she sent me to a kidney specialist to be on the safe side. They turned out to be benign but seeing the specialist was very helpful. He suggested that a follow-up appointment in six months to make sure they are growing. I appreciate the care Dr. Rivera gives to each of her patients. She knows I worry about diabetes because it runs in my family and I am pre-diabetic, so the thought that there was a problem with my kidneys was scary. She was very very reassuring that even if there was a problem we had found it early and it could be fixed. She has been our family physician for 30 years and I plan on having her as my physician for the next 30.

I just found false information about…

I just found false information about myself on a WebMD reviewer website that is spreading information that i had "trouble with dealing with a state medical board." I never even applied to this state medical board as a physician. This is completely wrong information and harms one's reputation. WebMd needs to somehow regulate how to screen for false reviewers with an alternative agenda.

Sorry I ever made the appointment

I had an appointment for over a month with Dr Stephanie McKnight at Main Line Health Broomall, Pa. I went to a lot of trouble for this appointment I missed a half day work and drove over an hour only to be told by the receptionist that they had try to reach me by phone and because I did not call back they canceled my appointment. This seems unfair to me. Dr McKnights office was uncooperative in trying to
Squeeze me in. It seemed unreasonable that the doctor would stay an extra 30 minutes more than she had to. It was at that s moment that I decided if the office was going to be this way about the appointment than I should not go any further and go to another doctor. Red Flag went up.

Web MD does not allow reader feedback

Web MD does not allow reader feedback. They have an article on 8 secrets you keep from your doctor, in which the article states you should tell your doctor every thing . They do not tell you the potential consequences of telling your doctor everything . With out reader feed back you can not give warning nor can you provide any suggestions on how to make things better. For instance my doctor keeps my medical records on a computer unencrypted that has contact with the internet, that virtually makes them public. So how much can I really trust him? If I could give feedback I would say cut the internet connection or encrypt the files. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

WebMD's search practices are unethical | Doctors and Dentists should be outraged

Dentist Category: WebMD's search practices are unethical and wholly below standard best practices. They have allowed large practice groups with multiple dentists in various locations to "game" the search system. This is completely unacceptable for a giant in the industry where real people's health and livelihoods are at stake.

In Minneapolis, when searching for a dentist in a particular zip code, the WebMD search algorithm allows for dentists in zip codes, areas and towns (other than the one being searched) to show up top of page. In fact, it takes 10 pages to get beyond this one practice's doctors and for a search in a particular area, doctors from up to 50 miles away show up before doctors in that searched zip code. These are NOT paid ads. Although, of course, WebMD offers paid placement. It's a simple fix for WebMD. Either disallow a doctor from listing multiple locations of which they do not work, or simply kick them off. Make them re-do their listings so they correspond with the location in which they practice

Seems like it may have useful information - but the damned pages keep loading from scratch due to all the useless advertising. This site is more interested in Ads than being a valuable information site. Look anywhere and everywhere else. WedMD sucks!

Morgan J. Vittengl M.D.

One of the worse dr offices in Saratoga County! Extremly poor office mgmt! Lack of care to patients. Do not go here if you want quality medical services. I've been going here for almost a year and half and the staff turn over is crazy. Extremely rude and obnoxious staff. They are not about patients only money! So if you need refills you are up a creek. They are all about getting money and not helping patients at all! Please look elsewhere for good quality medical services. Dr. Office is run down, lack of clean air, exceptionally outdated and always smells. Everything is dirty in waiting rooms and rooms for patients.

I would recommend Dr. Sara Troxel MD

I would recommend Dr. Troxel to anyone looking for reconstruction or any plastic surgery.
Long story short I had to have a mastectomy. I was recommend to Dr. Troxel by a few women at Central Peninsula Oncology, and I’m glad I was.
I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years, and Dr. Troxel is by far one of the finniest caring doctors I have come in contact with. Being form New York myself, I prefer a doctor that gives it to me straight. Along with her staff (that has been with her for many years), which is typically not the case for doctors. Most doctors usually have a high turnover rate. That tells me Dr. Troxel is a wonderful person to work for also.
The procedure I’m going through requires me to travel up to Anchorage every two weeks to fill the expander. Dr. Troxel is so careful about what she is doing that on one appointment Dr. Troxel would not do the fill because she was suspicious of a pimple on the incision line and did not want me to get an infection that could have resulted in taking the expander out and having to go through more surgery to clear up the infection. She gave me some ointment, bandaged it and called me the next day to see how everything was. I saw her two weeks later with no problem and had my second to last fill.
I am glad I chose Dr. Troxel, for her professionalism, unwavering truthfulness, and for her staff.
She is a wonderful doctor and human being.

Email “ contact us “ facility doesn’t work....surprise, surprise! And there are long running scam advertisements running as sponsored on their site. If they allow this, then as far as I’m concerned, anything they recommend needs to be taken with a pinch of salt!
