While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Waste of time and money to be honest

Waste of time and money to be honest. Our wedding got cancelled by our venue and none of our losses were covered, not a penny. Email them and never received a response. On hold for ever if you call. I just wouldn't bother with this company to be honest.

I wish I could give less than 1 star

I wish I could give less than 1 star. Our wedding was cancelled 11 months before by our venue. The venue announced that they were closing for 'necessary refurbishment works'. I contacted the wedding insurance company Dreamsaver to ask for some help, and was informed I had to talk to Acasta Europe and that they could only communicate via email. Having emailed them with queries, they just responded saying 'we've opened a claim, please provide the following documentation' - which I was not asking for at that stage. After we had found a new venue, comparable to the old one, and rearranged everything I finally had the relevant cost implications for rearrangement. We were only claiming the additional costs incurred as part of rearranging, which was written on the policy as a claimable thing. When I finally sent in the documentation to proceed with the claim, they turned the claim down as the venue was not closed by a governmental body and so they are refusing to cover us for anything. I am disgusted and saddened. Do NOT use this insurance company for your wedding insurance.

Just do not use

Just do not use. Absolute waste of money. Our videographer didn't provide us with any videos for our wedding and Dreamsaver refused to pay out. What is the point of the insurance if they wont pay out when you don't get what you paid for. It seems they will use any excuse to get out of paying. Opt for another company if you want wedding insurance, you may aswel throw money in the bin using this one.

What a waste of money

Bought insurance with this company before booking our wedding in the event of any unseen circumstance. Which is the reason anyone would get insurance. We were really looking forward to our wedding in Cyprus and booked this over a year in advance. We bought dated personalised decorations.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown we were not able to fly to our wedding destination. We had missed the date of returning any items we had bought. The insurance company would not pay out a penny.
What a complete waste of money buying this insurance. Would never go with them again.
