Terrible experience with Wego. They messed up my booking and completely ignored the issue, leaving me and my family—including my children—in a very difficult situation. Completely irresponsible and untrustworthy. I strongly advise against using this service.

I booked 2 international tickets today. The price was right. The tickets were issued in less than an hour.
The booking process was smooth. All good. Even the cancellation and change date fees posted were ok.( about $50).
I had used wego for the 1st time recommended by someone but it has been a nightmare currently. The airlines had canceled the flight and asked to get to un touch with the agent I booked from. It took me about 3 days to get in touch with them after a lot of waiting. Their online chat was of no use too. In the middle of the chat, their chat was disabled. When I finally got in touch with them, they told me that the refund would take 90 days !!!! Like... are you serious??? No alternatives were provided and instead asked to wait 90 days. Now I have again sent a follow up for my refund but no response. All I need is my refund ASAP!!!! Pathetic experience...
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the level of service I received from Wego Customer Support, particularly from Marwan Ali. Despite the fact that my inbound flight was officially canceled by the airline due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East—an issue completely beyond my control—I was shockingly informed that I would not be receiving any refund.
This response is not only unacceptable but also completely unjust. When a flight is canceled by the airline itself, especially under extraordinary circumstances such as regional conflict, it is the responsibility of both the airline and the booking platform to ensure that affected passengers are properly assisted, refunded, or rebooked. Instead, I was left without a clear solution, proper guidance, or accountability from Wego.
What makes this even worse is the lack of ownership and coordination between Wego and the airline. Rather than helping resolve the issue, I was essentially passed around and denied a rightful refund. This reflects a serious failure in customer service, communication, and basic consumer rights handling.
I strongly urge Wego to review this case thoroughly and take immediate action to correct this unfair decision. Customers should not be penalized for circumstances beyond their control, especially during critical situations like war. This experience has significantly damaged my trust in Wego, and I will think twice before using their service again.
My flight was cancelled by Etihad on 10 March. It’s been 3 months and no refund. Wego is delaying my payment. This is unfair. Please resolve urgently.

I wanted to trust this company but I am very unimpressed by their service so far. I had booked a flight from Dubai to Cairo with them which was supposed to arrive at 18:30, and two weeks later I got an email telling me my 'itinerary was confirmed' and that I'll be arriving in Cairo at 22:25 (?!). I tried calling them to understand the situation and all of their phone lines are down so they are impossible to reach. I have now written to customer support to get some clarify and hopefully a refund on this new flight I don't want but at this point I'm not expecting much... I'll update this review if things go well.
I am not rating my experience with Wego as a company, I’m rating only one of customer support agents Hasnaa, as she is the only one who helped me with my booking.
For 2 days I had trouble opening my booking and ticket and agents kept me back and forth all the time.
Hasnaa reissued my new ticket and solved my problem in just 2h, while other agents were saying empty stories for 2 days.

I am very disappointed with the service from Wego. My booking (reference: 73FDEO) was cancelled and the refund process is taking too long. They informed me that it may take up to 90 days, which is very stressful for customers. I paid using Tabby and I still need to settle the remaining payment while waiting for the refund. I hope Wego can improve their customer support and refund process.
I had a terrible experience with Wego. I attempted to book a flight from Karachi to Lahore, and during the checkout process, my debit card was charged successfully, but the booking completely failed, and no ticket was issued.
The most concerning part is that Wego kept the money despite the transaction clearly failing. It has now been almost a month, and the refund has still not been processed.
Customer support has been extremely slow and unhelpful, providing no clear timeline or proper resolution. For a travel platform handling financial transactions, this level of service is unacceptable.
Taking payment without providing the booked service and then delaying the refund for weeks creates serious trust issues.
I have now been forced to file a chargeback with my bank to recover my money.

Very bad service, I want to reschedule my flight booking and I was advised to contact the airline directly and I called the airline they told me that this is a travel agent booking so need to contact the travel agent WEGO. Wego said they cannot do anything. Extremely bad service. I paid already and I did not get anything.
I do not have any positive statements regarding this company, my mother booked a flight via their service (Wego.com). Due to the situation in the Middle East, its unknown whether the flight will even happen, but this is my experience with wego service:
1. Via the flight tracker, that does not work half the time, the flight status continuously changes between cancelled and on schedule.
2. The contact numbers for Qatar and UAE do not work!
3. The alleged 24/7 support line has bot responded to me in over 48 hours.

First of all , i had an flight for 4th March from DXB to CGP, the flight got cancelled due the war situation but they didn’t inform me. I went to airport and came back then i followed up for the rescheduled flights then they said they requested to the airlines for 9th March. I was continuously following up till 9th March, they said still they didn’t receive any update from the airlines then i went straight to the airlines to seek help then they told me Wego already requested for the refund without informing me. Then I called them for the refund and the agent said it might take 90 business days, as per their terms and conditions it was supposed to be refunded with 7-10 business days. Then i was asking them 10-15 business days are understandable but not 90 days!!! She was like this is because of current situation. Like seriously???? 90 days to refund?? This was my first time to use this app and honestly this was the worst experience ever. Im not sure if i will get the refund or not.

Wego will give all the excuses not to refund the guarantee amount paid.
I have been sending back and forth multiple emails with the proof of public transport failure, yet the Wego team reject to refund my 100% refundable ticket amount I paid at the ticket booking checkout.
Their customer service doesn’t answer a single call. Emails are told we cannot refund with no valid reason. Specially I have been requesting in the middle of GCC war. The customer service team is not helpful at all. The team is in Egypt and they will keep sending you back and forth to the airlines to waste time.
Kindly do not select guarantee refund while booking tickets they will never refund that money back.

My experience was soo bad today,they don’t write any information about extra charges like deposit and all on the booking,when I went to hotel I count check in cause they want deposit twice the booking amount which is not even written anywhere.Im literally outside now cant check in and don’t have money to book elsewhere and they can’t refund

Misleading language about carry on baggage on their site. Like another reviewer mentioned they are purposefully obtuse about carry on being included and when you purchase and confirm with the airline no baggage is included with your ticket. When you reach out to their customer service they send you screenshots of the airline and not their own website. I tried to sent them a screenshot of their OWN website and their chat service will not accept your attachments. They do not try to resolve the issue and mark it as solved in their chat. Awful business practices.
