Our Wellis Olympus is fantastic!

Our Wellis Olympus is an incredibly well built hot tub. We live in the Northeast US and have tough winters. The steel frame is perfect. The spa is well appointed with a great stereo, pumps and jets galore and its all nicely laid out, from the LED screen and manual controls to the way the wiring is and equipment is laid out underneath. Amazing value also. This spa is only slightly more than a normal 8 person tub - but is SO much more!

Love my Wellis London lounger Tub…

Love my Wellis London lounger Hot Tub!!! Pretty strong jets (especially if you isolate the sides). Been looking at spas since 2018. Prices unrealistically skyrocketed after the pandemic. In a 9 month period of time in the same calendar year I was quoted a $4,000 difference from a popular brand, with no changes!! Was hesitant to buy Wellis, because I had never heard of them. Did a bit of research and decided to give it a try! So glad I did! Even got speakers which I would have never dreamed of! Incredible buy for the money spent. Would not hesitate to buy again. Bought in the summer now coming into cooler temps and it's going to get a lot of use. Great product Wellis! One suggestion would be to allow light colors to be chosen more easily in the app or otherwise instead of having to continuously turn it off to cycle through the next lighting color.

Received Damaged, Ignored

Factory failed to secure motor which broke loose in shipping and acted as a wrecking ball inside the spa. Motor, wiring, plumbing and structure all damaged. Company refused to answer the customer service line (auto hang-up) 12x over 10 days. They also did not answer emails. Only after a BBB complaint filing did they respond. Company finally sent a new motor but did not pay to fix any other damage. After one month, hot tub is working. After owning a Hot Springs spa for 20 years, this has been a nightmare.

We purchased a Wellis Mont Blanc two…

We purchased a Wellis Mont Blanc two years ago. The first year, the electrical system stopped working. All the lights blew out. Also, the quarter panels (4) faded. The second year 2024, the speakers stopped working. Also, we noticed the shell was bowing on two sides. We contacted Wellis along with the company we bought the hot tub from. Wellis used the excuse the bowing was from UV sun damage and is cosmetic. The fading also. This is a ridiculous reason as we only use it in the summer months and have a Covana covering it. The hot tub looks like it is a 10 year old tub! They will not honor the warranty and are not very reputable. I would not recommend this manufacturer! Very very disappointed!

After sales support is not available. Update !!!

After sales support is not available.
Unfortunately, the display on our whirlpool is broken after less than three years. According to the warranty conditions, this display should still be covered. Unfortunately, it is not possible to contact the company. There is no response to emails or entering data on „website: problem-and-error-reporting/„.
As enthusiastic as we are about the whirlpool, I can only advise against buying it. The support is abysmal.

Update: after I was finally able to make contact by this way (due to IT problems, contact by eMail was not possible), I received help very quickly. The display was replaced without any problems under warranty. Due to the quick and uncomplicated support from Samu József from Wellis (thanks again for that), I am now significantly increasing my rating, as I received very quick and competent help in the after-sales department.

Wellis- Southern Comfort Spas

My hot tub was spoken highly from Southern Comfort Spas on preston hwy in Louisville Ky. Within the first few months, I had to make a service call because of the speaker not going down into the cabinet.
The guy who came out to fix it didn't do a very good job as I have the same problem today. Also, the cabinet is falling apart on it as well. I WOULD NOT BUY A WELLIS HOT TUB OR RECOMMEND SOUTHERN COMFORT SPA DUE TO THEIR POOR SERVICE THEY PROVIDE.

Excellent warranty after 5 years.

We bought our Wellis spa back in 2017 and used it every week without any problems for years. Last year, however, I noticed some sort of osmosis damage while cleaning the spa. I contacted Wellis directly through their website, and within 15 minutes on a Friday afternoon, I received a call from Amilio. He assured me that if it was indeed osmosis, they would replace the spa without hesitation, but I needed to contact the company that originally delivered the spa.

I then reached out to the original dealer, Spa-Industries, they are no longer a Wellis dealer. They mentioned that Wellis probably wouldn’t do anything about it, but they would file a claim on my behalf and get back to me once they had a response. After four weeks with no updates, I contacted Spa-Industries again to ask about the status. They replied that they hadn’t received any response from Wellis but would email them again. I didn’t fully trust this, so I contacted Amilio again to check if they had received anything. He told me that Wellis had responded weeks ago, agreeing to replace the spa and even sent a few reminders, but had received no reply.

Amilio reassured me that they would replace the spa and connected me with Elite Wellness, who took over the warranty claim. In the end, Wellis replaced the old spa after five years of use, at no cost to me. This experience shows that Wellis truly stands behind their products and ensures top-notch quality. I can confidently recommend Wellis to anyone and am 100% certain that I will buy another Wellis spa in the future.

Good range of hot tubs and excellent customer service.

Was not sure what products would suit my needs. Sales person Irene did a great job in providing helpful information and what tubs would be most appropriate. The store has a great selection of hot tubs and introduced me to the infra red sauna that my partner and I are now considering on purchasing. Overall experience was fantastic in terms of customer service and products on display.

Online ordering and customer service is a joke

When using the website drop down menu to order replacement filters “Wellis Borneo” I kind of expected the manufacturer to send me the filters I’d paid good money for , this was 4 months ago now ! Eventually two filters were sent from Glasgow ….. that didn’t fit , I called customer service as there was no return note supplied and nobody answers the phone , eventually I called a supplier in Oxford who gave me the reps name and number , I explained the issue and that it was a month to receive the wrong filters, he agreed fully it was an issue with a website upgrade and assured me he had my order and the correct filters would be sent …… a month on and nothing , customer service and again no answer , so I called Glasgow and spoke with the warehouse , saw the order, accepted it was incorrect but refused to replace until the original filters had been returned , I was assured by the rep I wouldn’t have to BUT with two broken legs and 7 broken ribs I managed to get them returned , absolutely furious and crippled with pain , a month on and nothing , no call no delivery and no answering the customer serve number , AVOID THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY buy your filters cheaper elsewhere , at least you may actually get some

Wellis will leave you stranded

Wellis isn't standing behind there product. I spent 12k on a spa 2.5 years ago and it's leaking from multiple jets. Every time we fix one another one starts to leak. More than likely all the seals need to be replaced based on the warranty company that came out to look at it... Corporate points me to my local dealer and IMO it's not the dealers fault. I am a licensed pool builder and have recommended these spas to many of my customers and now when I have a problem nobody will own up to the issue. Water chemistry has always been perfect and I am very frustrated. Please don't buy a Wellis - They will not stand behind there products.

All our Life Line hot tubs are measured for energy efficiency by the Californian Energy Agency and their daily consumption is displayed on the individual product pages. The Makalu uses 2.7kW / day and the Palermo is 2.8kW per day. However these values have been calculated based on standard test procedure which are:
- Tubs tested at 15 °C (60°F) ambient temperature.
- 38 °C (102°F) water temperature.
- Wellis cover used and not opened during testing.
- Pumps came on during automatic cycles only for heating and filtering. They were not turned on manually.
- Test conducted in a 3rd party approved environmental chamber certified to the ANSI/APSP/ICC-14 2014 standard.
The cost of running your hot tub is also pending on
- Local energy cost.
- Local ambient temperature.
- Set water temperature.
- Use of hot tub or swim spa.
- Type and condition of cover.
- Filter cycle settings.

No spare parts

Trying to get parts for my Jacuzzi. No answer for emails, no answering phones. Once they answer and when I asked if they speak English, they just disconnected. Never answered again. Would suggest not to buy anything from them. Only problems.

My hot tub does its job

My hot tub does its job!
However, some parts could have been made of better quality materials and also the manual should be written in a more accessible way.
Overall, the pros outweigh the cons, at this price this is a really good product! I highly recommend this manufacturer.
