This loan process with Brad and Phally was efficient and professional. Brad's temperament from day one was one of compassion and a desire to get the refi done as seamless as possible. My wife and I are extremely impressed with him and have already recommended him to our family and friends. Even at a time when our country is going through a pandemic, you guys were there to make life a little better for us. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Both demonstrated true professionalism from application to signing; answering all our questions as together we worked through the process. They took the time to get to know us, our family, and our plans as we prepare to step into retirement.

I have never had a business experience like this before. In my many decades of doing business, they are the most customer-oriented, friendly and competent firm in the finance business. Their business model is one of the reasons why.

In particular, Mike Rael, my account executive, is the consummate professional. Patient, conscientious and knowledgeable are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind when describing him and his abilities. I was a very difficult applicant, but Mike never gave up on me. It took months to complete my transaction but he never waivered. He kept in touch. He continued to monitor rates for me up until the time I gave him the authorization to lock. And lock he did, with such a phenominal rate my jaw dropped! All I can say about him (and his staff, most notably Gigi) is that you will not be sorry to engage his services! Looking back, I have no regrets now that my loan has funded. In fact, I am grateful to them for everything. They come with my highest recommendation! Only one regret: Mike promised me that the President, Wesley Hoagland, would call me and say "It's the biggest no-brainer in the history of mankind!", but I'm sure he is swamped in this volatile market. So, I said it for him in the title of this review.

I went through process to finance a home. I have over 800 credit score and have more then enough income to qualify for payments. I was encouraged for months that I qualified and was given a closing date. I incurred expenses for appraisal which came in lower then expected but still much higher then the requested loan amount. Loan amount was less then 70% value to appraisal. Because I bought home as a foreclosure and received a great deal on it the "underwriters" didn't like it. The day of closing I find out that I'm not getting loan and they will not refund cost of appraisal. Horrible experience.

No closing cost ads are a bait and switch. Called up, I have a great credit score, only borrowing about 50% of equity, They said my loan did not qualify. I could not find anything on their site that tells me what is the qualifications for no closing cost are.

I challenge you to respond with a link with the qualification for no closing cost. I doubt you will have the integrity to do so

I have purchased 13 properties and this process was the best. Mike and Van were intelligent, knowledgeable and considerate throughout the long process of completing our re-fi. We needed a subordination from a big bank, and we have several income streams so it was over a month and a half from start to finish. Mike even made himself available on weekends and time off. Van spent hours getting me signed before I left on Vacation. What a couple of stars! Bravo

Our experience was good. We felt that the company’s add was misleading as to the costs associated with the loan.

I worked with Joseph Medina and Wayne Lowe. Initially I was skeptical of working with someone on a refinance who was on the opposite side of the country, but they were professional and helpful. They were respectful of my time, and also allowed me to be a bit slow when I had other work and family related distractions over the holidays. Everything that they did was fast and efficient. Overall very satisfied.

Mike and his team worked surprisingly quickly. After several denials from other lenders, Mike’s clear experience in the business resulted in an initial approval only hours after we first spoke. The process was virtually seamless from that point on. Communication was terrific. Mike was personable and accommodating and, after my experience, I can highly recommend this lender in good conscience.

Mike did a great job he helped get the homeowners statement to make the loan app go faster and smoother I saved over 200.00 a month !

Mike was extremely helpful and considerate to our needs and keeping our best interest as the focus.

Called and spoke with Cathy, I think she said her name was. Not impressed. When it came time to discussing fees she got very defense and even started arguing with me. Not a good way to sell loans. I ended the call then and there. If she's going to argue with me while selling the loan, what is the rest of the experience going to be like?

I contacted Weslend to get a cash-out refinance with no closing costs and spoke with Mike Rael. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail so that I understood exactly how the process worked. I was a little skeptical that there would actually be no closing costs, as we had spoken to our current lender about a refinance and they would have added thousands of dollars to our loan in closing costs. But Weslend truly does work with their clients to structure the loan so there are no closing costs at all--no hidden fees, no surprises. My number one reason to recommend Weslend, though, is that they truly care about what is best for their clients. Mike asked me if I had considered a home equity line of credit and encouraged me to look into it to see if it would work better than a refinance. Keep in mind that Weslend doesn't offer lines of credit, so there was no monetary benefit for the company to suggest this! I respect a company that puts people ahead of profits, and I fully recommend Weslend for your mortgage needs.

I just wanted to know the lowest payment per month for any type of loan to see if it could beat my current monthly payment. I didn't care if it was a 5 year arm, 10 year, 30 year or 100 year loan. He kept asking me other questions to screen me, but I just wanted to know the lowest monthly payment that they offer....or maybe the lowest payments for two different kinds of loans that they offer....assuming that I have perfect credit, etc. (which I do).

I'm a return customer, so that should say it all. Very happy with the service.

Mike Rael was my Wesland loan manager. He is very personable, friendly, and was extremely knowledgeable about the re-fi process. He was very patient and professional as he guided me thru the process of refinancing. Philly Nan was my loan officer. Likewise, she was also very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. Overall, the Wesland team that I dealt with (Mike and Philly)made this re-fi process very easy and painless. They did an outstanding job, and due to my experience with them, I would highly recommend Wesland to any friends or family requiring any mortgage services. Great job, and thank you!

From start to finish Mike and his team made the process extremely easy and fast. I've had dealt with other Mortgage companies in the past, but dealing with Mike was hands down by far the best treatment I've ever experienced. He is very knowledgeable, professional and most important honest and cares. These qualities are rare these days. From start to finish, there were no surprises. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. They go above and beyond to make it as easy and the closing convenient for the customer. 10+ rating.

Don't choose this company! I would have gone somewhere else but the process took so long that I didn't want to start all over again. That's probably why they make it take so long. They are the WORST at communication. Nothing was explained to me until I asked ten times and even then often no returned phone calls. They changed the numbers multiple times. What an awful company. Oh yeah, and the no closing costs ad is a bunch of crap.

The best experience I have ever had refinancing a home I highly recommend this company their knowledge and experience make the process simple and easy without stress. The attention to detail customer service is excellent. The loan processing department is right on top of things.
I had many questions and they were more than happy to answer. Communication is very important to me Brad the gentleman I dealt with was amazing! He kept in constant contact with me. I was particularly impressed when we started talking and the amount of knowledge and recommendations were right on. I don’t like salesman talk and I didn’t get any of that with this company. Brad listened to me as I explained my situation. Brad came up with many different options and recommendations. I was very impressed with the whole process and I’m not easy to impress.
