Despite many nurseries allowing dogs this one does not allow well behaved dogs. Big missed opportunity for them. Will not be visiting or buying from them.
I ordered three plants total, initially concerned with no order updates I emailed the company partly to inform them I had ordered three so if packing them together helped they could and had a reply to say when they were beginning to ship orders soon in my batch due to winter weather issues and so waited then saw the online reviews and worried but today one box arrived with my initial single plant order. Very well packaged in a really clever packaging solution, the plant is a little small for the price but then it was free postage so balances its self out. Plant was a bit dry in its pot but that’s likely best for transport anyway so have watered it and letting it get some life back in it. Plant has flowers and looks fairly well. Package was sent 1st class 2 days ago so very fast. Ironically after waiting ages to afford these and even finding any online or in shops they had loads in the range today lol doh!
So will end up with 5 haha!
Sadly our bougainvillea developed an infestation soon after receiving it. It is now slowly dying despite our best efforts. Appalling customer service - i.e. none! No response to emails or phone calls. Do not purchase from this company.
Shocking customer service from this company. I don't even want to give it one star. There was no information about when my order would arrive which considering the perishable nature of a plant is pretty poor. When it did arrive it was looking a bit sorry for itself. I followed all the instructions to no avail and it died within a couple of weeks. I should say that I'm no rookie when it comes to looking after tender plants. I've emailed several times with no response and can't get anyone to pick up the phone either. This company don't seem to care about their reputation at all.
I would give no stars if I could!

I ordered a plant in January of this year (2023) and as of today, 20th July, have still not received anything. I've emailed and I've phoned. I finally got a response from my emails to say I would be receiving a refund but its now been three weeks and Im still waiting. They should be banned from all RHS shows!!
I have to say I ordered a bougainvillea from Westdale as a gift and then read the reviews, understandably the wrong way round. I the fretted for a while until my package arrived. I have to say it was a lovely size, shape and in good health when it arrived. It’s always best to be able to see and buy it from source but I’d tried everywhere locally but to no avail. I hope this does allow some respite from the negative comments here. They also gave some useful tips on looking after the plant for the future. Now let’s see if we can keep it going through the winter….
In my opinion nobody should buy online from this nursery. Their customer service is abysmal for a number of reasons: -Firstly they did not keep me informed of the progress of my order.
Secondly the company is difficult to contact by phone and despite me leaving a voicemail message they did not respond to that or to the email I consequently sent them.
Thirdly they do not keep their website updated.
When I finally spoke to the owner on the 17th of April, nearly 2 months after I had first placed my order, he told me that the Golden Doubloon bougainvillea I had ordered would not be available as all the "doubles" had failed. He promised me a refund and supposedly wrote that on the top of my order! And yet 6 days ago a bougainvillea - not the one I ordered - was left on my doorstep. I immediately rang the company to tell them I didn't want it and this time spoke to Pete who assured me that somebody would contact me about "the mix up" and that I would receive a refund.
I have still heard nothing and to my knowledge have received no refund to date.

Awful company. They sent the wrong plant which was in very bad shape anyway and now looks pretty much dead, despite really coaxing it back to life. They do not respond to emails & nobody answers the phone.
Don't buy from this company. On two occasions my husband bought plants which were of poor quality despite their relatively high cost. On both occasions they perished. The company does not reply to emails and has no interest in customer service.
In case you are wondering why there are no pictures on what you are about to purchase I bought two bougainvillea for £69 each amounting to £138 to be shocked on the small size and scrawniness [note prices are listed on POT size not PLANT size].
I was simply going to leave a picture of them so others can see, but this website doesn't seem to allow me to do so. I did get a call from the owner informing me that no one else has an issue with his company, but then again I have also seen another poor review prior to mine.
It's ok, keep my money - you can only do this once to me.
I ordered three very expensive Bougainvillea plants. One arrived looking like a twig stuck into a pot of compost - it cost £29.99! In my opinion it has no hope of developing. The other two are ok although very much on the small side. I have contacted the company twice, with photos, asking for a refund or a replacement but they will not respond to this request. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend purchasing from them.
