Shame I recommended this place for a family do and we were very disappointed.

We have been here before and the Sunday roast was good, however the recent visit was very disappointing.

We each had either the chicken or the beef.
1) The chicken was like it had been poached, the skin was pale and slimy. They served what looked like a slice of breast meat and a leg. The leg was tough and appeared undercooked.
2) The beef looks good nice and pink although most had large amounts of fat and gristle.
3) Our mains came out and about 5 mins later the roast potatoes came, one person had already finished what little was served.
4) The roasts came with a Yorkshire, a bit of meat, some purée and about a tablespoon of veg.
5) One small jug of gravy was served and when we asked for another it was even smaller.
6) It was not cheap and certainly not worth the money.

Very disappointed having mentioned this all we were told was oh sorry.
