I have requested to be unsubscribed from emails - contacted customer service and they confirmed I have been unsubscribed and still 2 weeks later I have received 7 additional emails about the new rewards program. Stop sending spam!!!!

The return process was horrible

The return process was horrible. I returned the same pair of pants in three different sizes and was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to process the return. I kept calling to find out the status, receiving little help from customer service. Because my credit card would not be credited until the return was processed my account reflected multiple purchases. This caused my balance to increase and my credit score to decrease. Finally, I spoke with a representative who confirmed that all three items had been returned and I was sent an email confirmation of the pending refunds.

Terrible Quality…

Quality for this store has largely declined. I’ve been a customer of the White House/ Black market brand for over 20 years and have always liked its classic pieces that stand the test of time and with good care can be worn for years. I recently bought a blue blazer retailing for $195 which I got to wear once - I followed all care instructions on label only to find the fabric discolored in many areas and turned it useless. Not only that, they had discounted it to $137. Absolute waste of money. Am taking my business elsewhere. Wrote a review to their store and included details - they never got back to me.

This is for WHBM in west Marietta

This is for WHBM in west Marietta. Lady that works in there is prejudice against older white women. Seems to only help younger non white ladies. If she’s there I leave, but the other associates are very nice.

This used to be my favorite clothing…

This used to be my favorite clothing retailer. Their prices were a bit high but I felt that for the quality of the clothing and their exceptional customer service it was worth it. That was years ago. Now the clothes are still priced quite high and the quality has gone way down. The customer service has been outsourced overseas and you can’t get your issue resolved anymore. I recently bought a tee shirt that developed holes in it after one wash. When I tried to get the issue resolved I received a standard answer explaining their return policy-defective items must be returned unworn and unwashed and you are charged return shipping. Well, as I said, I had washed it when the issue with the quality of the item became apparent. I tried email and chat to get the problem resolved, but I was only reminded of their standard return policy each time. Other customers who left reviews on this shirt had the same problem. Small holes developed in the fabric once it was washed. I’ve never had any clothing item fall apart like this in the wash. I followed the instructions on the tag. I didn’t add bleach or harsh chemicals, just regular laundry detergent. And the original price was $49 which is not exactly cheap for a tee shirt. If this is their quality nowadays and they will not even offer me a refund or store credit to replace the item I would rather not buy from them. I’ve been a loyal customer of this store since 2018, but it isn’t the same store it was back then. Everything seems to have gone downhill, sadly.

They don't ship it and you cannot cancel

I recently (June 4) ordered a dress for an event later in the month. With the expected delivery time of 4-7 business days, I should have received it just in time. However, it didn't ship so when I checked the status, the shipping date had been updated to June 20th. I contacted the company to cancel the order by both email and chat and WHBM said that I couldn't cancel the order. WTH - it is weeks from actually shipping!? Now I am forced to get an item I no longer want (and I will have to take the time to return it in store or probably pay return shipping). I won't be shopping online with this store any longer.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Buyer beware this worthless chain can’t do simple customer service features like change the shipping address for an order! After they took my money, I wasn’t offered any options for shipping such as where to ship it or how fast I wanted it shipped. And they are so WORTHLESS that they can’t cancel an order either! You are forced to wait for them to ship it incorrectly and then you must call back and waste another hour of your life re-explaining that they shipped the item to the wrong address! This company is UNPROFESSIONAL AND WORTHLESS! Why have customer support if the agents are worthless and can’t provide any customer support!

$400 returns takes 3-4weeks to refund??? UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I’m here to talk about The White Black House Market. I shop at The WBHM online. I made a over $400 worth of return Jan 30th and the UPS delivered to their facility successfully on Feb 2nd.
And today Feb 11, I contacted the customer service to find out my refund status is.
First of all, she said they didn’t receive my return. And i said i got the email that the UPS delivered the stuff at their facility.
And she said : The returns process as a whole takes 3-4 weeks. I would say at least 2 weeks.

Seriously????? Who keep other people money that long? That’s criminal!!

No wonder no one can compete with Amazon!

I will never buy from The WBHM again!!
It’s so frustrating dealing with this kind of company.

This is in regards to White House Black…

This is in regards to White House Black Market (WHBM):

Terrible service. They out sourced their customer service overseas, and the online chat feature is of no use. I ordered some pants and my order remained in the "processing" phase for quite a while. I inquired about it multiple times, and was told to wait, which I did. Fast forward a week later and my order was canceled without any reason provided.

I contacted the phone, which took three attempts, each making me wait over 20 minutes. One person finally picked up and told me it was because such size was out of stock, yet online it still remained available. Another person on the online chat setting said it was because of my card, trying to shift blame to me. Either case, it comes off as though they really don't understand what they were doing--or wanting to do anything at all.

Please stop resourcing overseas. The customer service quality declines in doing so. If you're going to charge high prices, the quality should reflects that.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a few items (a blouse, pants, and a belt) three weeks ago to wear to a wedding. I paid extra for faster shipping. The blouse shipped very quickly and arrived quickly. The belt and pants supposedly 'shipped' according to the email they sent me. But when I check the tracking information the package hasn't actually shipped because the carrier hasn't received it yet. I contacted customer service after over a week of waiting and they asked me for more information about the item that I had received, but didn't ask for any information on the outstanding items. I sent them the information they requested and have yet to hear anything from them. After a few days I even reached back out to see if they could tell me anything more. At this point the wedding has already happened and I had to figure out something else to wear. I don't think I'm ever going to get a straight answer out of customer service and I highly doubt I'll ever get the clothes or my money back. Do not buy from WHBM. They have terrible customer service.

Don't do it

Don't do it. They charge insane prices for mediocre quality but provide horrendous customer service. I placed an order for 4 items. 2 shipped and received. They had 'no idea' when the other 2 items would ship (2 weeks after I placed the order!!). Customer service just repeatedly said 'I have no information on that'.

Price discrepancy

Price discrepancy. Blouse advertised at 35 $ in facebook and when I place the order it goes to 59$ in website. Live chat Sonali doesn't want to help. I have been a client for 20 yrs same happened last month and I lost the dress.

I have already put a review about white stores over a 3ft nutcracker I bought.It was about three lights going out on the front.A customer service person rang me and I was offered money off which I excepted.It did not put me off buying another 3ft nutcracker to go on the other side of our fire place,but there is a problem with the second nutcracker in that the button to get the lights on will not stay in.It works fine with out the cover on,but once you put the cover on it will not stay in.It is very frustrating that there has been a problem with both nutcrackers I have bought because they are not cheap to buy.Dont think I would buy any more with batteries in after the experience I have had with the two I have bought.☹

I went to Arlington highland location…

I went to Arlington highland location in Arlington tx . I walked in . Looked around for about 3mins . No one approached to offer assistance. A few minutes later a nonblack came in sales person greeted them at door. Good Evening May I Help You . Person wanted to use the restroom or something. I am still browsing pulling items . No help . There was other nonblacks in store . Sales people where approaching them asking if they can put items in dressing room. Still no help . I put my items back . Walked out came back just to see if they would acknowledge me . No didn’t happen. Well quess what I was a fan have lots of items I was a person you called when new items came in. But no more . Acknowledge All Your Customers . If anyone has experienced this customer service behavior. Please reply and review this store . We don’t need you in business

I love this store for pants only

I love this store for pants only, My recent online purchase was a jacket. i went up to a size 8 in the jacket and it still does not close. i am a size 4 or 6 usually, If you have any kind of a bust this is not the store for you.

White House Black Market is the BEST

I rediscovered White House Black Market probably about 8 to 9 months ago. Since then, I have become a platinum member because I cannot stop spending my money here! The clothes are such high quality. They fit me like a dream because they are so well made. The best part of White House Black Market would be their customer service though. I love how helpful they are, and they never rush you off the phone. If anything, they become your stylistss for a little while. If I call for a quick question, you can bet the agent will take the time to place the order over the phone whereas most companies will answer your question, and then direct you to complete your purchase online. That is never the case with White House Black Market. I love placing me orders over the phone because the agents are generally very stylish, and they can figure out my style fairly quickly in order to suggest items and up sell. I do not mind! I love when I find hidden gems because of certain customer service agents. I have had three so far that are worth mentioning. Sherry, Patrick, and Arlene are easily some of the best customer service stylists I have ever come in contact with in my life. When we speak, it's like speaking to a friend. I love how they help me shop. Patrick introduced me to Chico's, and he showed me that it's not just for older women. They have definitely amped up their style. So I did have the opportunity to shop with Chico's and White House Black Market in one hour-long phone call. It sounds like a long time, but I was having so much fun shopping that it didn't feel like it was that long. the stylists at White House Black Market really know how to take my money because they always match me up with wonderful products. If there's ever an issue or problem, they are so helpful and kind. Also, if you are trying to save money, I would suggest you call in because they will find ways to help you save money in order for you to get the items you want. Absolutely awesome clothing, fantastic customer service, and the atmosphere is divine. The website is very easy to navigate, and the clothes are a dream for me. You will not be disappointed shopping here, and I hope the company claims this quickly so more people review it.
