My shopping experience was okay; the store was not at all busy however the 2 shop assistants did not acknowledge us when we walked in the store but just carried on with their conversation at the till point.
I did purchase an item but made the observation when paying that it is hard to see the sizing on the clothing as the hangers are not size labelled & the labels are invariably tucked into the clothing & in very small print.
She replied oh does anyone do that anymore!
I said yes alot of shops do; she said Mistral up the road don't do it.
I felt she should have acknowledged my remark rather than being combative.
Because its alot easier to shop if you can easily see the sizes.
It must be difficult for partial sighted people. Sizes on hangers would be so much more beneficial for ease of shopping.

Good quality clothes at a reasonable price, especially in the sale. The store was clean and well laid out, and the staff polite, knowledgeable and keen to help.

Found shorts for holiday , also got 10% off on day. Had to return shorts for bigger size , but no hassle in doing so. Staff pleasant and attentive

From ordering, picking item up in store and unfortunately having to return it, the service was excellent and the shop assistants as well. This was in the Kingston Branch.

Lovely bargain from the sales and then very helpful sales assistant who invited me to sign up for future promotions. The bonus was the free flower seeds. Look forward to many more shopping trips to the Buxton shop. The interior is inviting and well set out.

My favourite shop, good variety of clothes for the discerning male over 60s to choose from, great ambiance with other customers and staff alike, some nice discounts, quality of materials exceptional, although sizes and cut of one orange shirt was completely off, which I believe the business is addressing.

We visited the Nottingham branch today and bought two items and would like to pass on some constructive feedback.
Unfortunately, I had to ask the Assistant to fold one item up correctly after screwing it up before passing it over. She seemed distracted by another customer who was being served . Apart from confirming the price, she didn’t engage with me whatsoever.
I’ve always had polite service before and was sad to receive this today.
