There is a special lady on the checkout at Wicks, Brentwood. Who is fantastic. Her name is Pushpa. She makes our visits a joy. She has a friendly smile and a warm welcome when we are greeted by her at the tills. She is knowledgeable, fast and more importantly knows her customers. You feel you are being served by a trusted member of your own family. What a delightful, hard working person. Please treat this woman with kindness and respect. Wicks, you have picked a good member of staff. Well done to all. Xxx

Pushpa at the Brentwood branch was really helpful. So nice to get someone polite and helpful to ask. Even helped me with discounts. Nothing was too much trouble.

Pushpa of the Wickes in Brentwood, Essex was just so friendly and helpful.

She went out of her way to make you feel like we were friends at a supermarket buying things together.

It was refreshing to experience customer service like this.

I would highly recommend her for customer service supervisor role.

Archie at Wickes in Brentwood
Bought 3 bags of multi purpose compost, bags were too heavy for me. A lovely young man called Archie put them in my trolley and after I paid he put them in my car. Really impressed with him.

Giving 1 stars purely because the in-branch service was excellent.

Leanne at the Brentwood branch was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us. Unfortunately, after that, the experience went downhill completely.

From start to finish, almost everything has gone wrong.

The original kitchen design couldn’t be fitted due to pipework, meaning we lost key storage at the last minute
Around 40% of cupboards arrived chipped and had to be replaced
Several items were missing from delivery
We are still waiting over 6 weeks later for a cutlery insert (£75 item)

The sink situation alone sums up the experience:

Sink 1 – faulty
Sink 2 – arrived cracked
Sink 3 – incorrect replacement
Sink 4 – purchased by us out of pocket because customer service stopped responding

Communication has been extremely poor. We’ve called multiple times (Friday, Saturday, and Monday) and were promised call-backs each time—none of which happened.

Installation was also problematic:

Handles fitted wonky
Hydraulics installed incorrectly
Plinths not cut to size
Leaks on installation

While the original installer did eventually fix some issues, a second Wickes-arranged installer broke our dishwasher and attempted to blame someone else.

We were told installation would take 3 days. It has now been over 6 weeks, and we are still chasing unresolved issues—with no response from customer service.

We spent £16,000, and while the kitchen is nearly complete and looks good, the overall experience has been exhausting and incredibly frustrating.

A real shame, as we chose Wickes based on their reputation and didn’t even consider competitors.

Overall: a very stressful experience with poor communication and quality control.

Still no update so I called and they put me on hold until 'Jack' was available. When I got through he honestly sounded like he did not care. I will quote 'I can say im sorry until I am blue in the face' and a lot of sighs. Apparently our drawer insert will be delivered on Saturday but I have had not emailed / texts confirming.

Our installer now avoiding us and saying he wont be able to come for a whole month to replace the sink although he lives 10minutes down the road and said he would be there to help, so even our installer wont finished the job now. Im having the worst experience and am livid.

I ended up emailing the Director of the company and requesting assistance and a formal complain process and compensation. We are now with someone who appears senior and have sent him all the info.
4 drawers need replacing, again. They need to source some dishwasher legs and they need to organise a new installer to come and repair it all and fit the new sink.
Sent them an email with all the photos and what happened with our installer so I will update when I have something else to say.

Connor was outstanding very helpful very friendly & even helped to put the lintel in my car fantastic representative for Wickes!

Paul is a top man helped me find my tiles and load them, give the man a Pay rise. Very nice man 👍🏼

Leanne was amazing. She was friendly and very professional. Very happy with the kitchen design process. She spent lots of time with us and was happy to answer any questions we had.

From start to finish the experience and customer service we were given by Tunay (kitchen consultant. He was excellent in assisting us on finding our dream kitchen and optimising it to our space through the free home visit that they offer. He was very knowledgeable and assisted greatly with placing our order and ensuring it came in good time ready to be fitted. Would not hesitate to recommend Tunay to anyone else looking into getting their kitchen done. Thank you so much and very friendly while also being professional. Top man

We have taken out 2 kitchen at Brentwood Wicks and Tunay provided us with an excellent service.

We recently had our bathroom supplied by Wickes Brentwood and had a great experience from start to finish.

A special thank you to Tunay, our advisor, who was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the design process. He made everything straightforward and ensured we chose the right layout and products for our space.

We’re really pleased with the final result and would happily recommend Wickes Brentwood — especially Tunay for his excellent service.

Great service. Navdeep was our consultant for our new kitchen, he was very knowledgeable and had some great ideas that we took on board. If you're thinking of a new kitchen I highly recommend Wickes Brentwood and Navdeep.

The kitchen installer (name in the title) was excellent, attention to detail was fantastic, very reliable.

I had a delivery today,it was first class service from start to finish. I would highly recommend wickes Brentwood.

Leanne was extremely helpful and professional, both when she came to our house to look at the existing kitchen and to talk to us about what we wanted , and when we went into the store to look at the computer generated plans and choose worktops etc. she certainly knows her job. So was able to answer all our questions.

Tunay at Brentwood could not have been more helpful and patient. Ours was a small order simply to refit a utility room, but he came up with creative suggestions so we can put a quart into a pint pot, with a smart look and at an affordable price. It's no longer the "Futility Room".

Was happy with the first option, but now looking at the details, I have queries on the sizes of the cabinets, and have now decided I don't think I need all the wall cabinet space suggested. Unsure on the dimensions of the usints suggested, and think I need more details on the cabinets. Width, and depth of the wall cabinets are unknown. Now thinking of a change of what I had been discussing.
