Wickes - Bury Reviews 

I went for a kitchen quote today. I met with Wahida, the kitchen specialist. Absolutely outstanding service! I am on a very tight budget, and I was made to feel like I was buying the top end bespoke kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble, she explained everything in a really kind and professional manner. To say I went with measurements on the smallest of papers, she went through it with patience and a with great attitude. I was not pushed in any way and she was happy to amend things as and when I changed my mind. I have come away to think but I must say because of Wahida, I will be back. She is a real gem and an asset to the store.

Abbie served us today and she really was an amazing girl and took our terrible humour very well we never leave disappointed

We came to the Bury store for some wood to build some garden beds. The lengths of some were longer than we needed and we did not have the appropriate tools at home.Steve W was more than happy to help and went the extra mile, cutting the timbers to the desired length.

Bought a Wickes White PIR Lantern Wall Light - 60W, fitted it and then decided to replace the other 2 Black ones for White. Bury branch only had 1 in stock so ordered 2 from the Bolton branch, click and collect. When I got them home, noticed that whilst the Product code 702847 was the same on both, the packaging was different in colour. On checking the specification, the dimensions were different? As I wanted all 3 to match, popped down to my local Bury branch. The one in stock was the same as one of the two I brought in, also, by luck, the one I fitted a few days earlier. Swapped without any problem, Laura was very helpful.

I had a few questions about a product and delivery. Unable to get answers from the website, I rang the Bury store. Not only did they answer quickly but in a polite manner. The gentleman was precise and knowledgeable, answered all my queries and even gave further guidance, that's how to do it. Many thanks Paul

Booked a home bathroom design appointment for a Saturday had multiple email reminders in the run up to the appointment. The appointment time came and I waited for the design consultant to arrive but she never showed up shocking customer service no phone call explanation, message, nothing! Complete waste of time.

Bury depo has the worst staff on the till I have ever experienced, they can't be bothered to speak. You have to guess which till they want to use, then you as a customer have to offer way your paying, the need for a receipt and no offer of a thank you is utter disrespectful to people keeping them in work.

Used Wickes bathroom design sevice which I’d totally recommend! Went in with a vague idea came out with a great new look! The range of fittings wickes has is plentiful and the expert advice guided us through any potential pitfalls. Using Wickes fitting service and now looking forward to the end result! Thank you Wickes!

Hannah was excellent in her customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Hannah was helpful, patient and extremely knowledgeable on the day and made the visit to Wickes very pleasurable.

Bury Wickes is fantastic due to excellent customer service and very helpful staff. Great for tradesmen as early and late opening times. Also 10% off trade card is a great help.

Recieved a phone call the day before the appointment to cancel as I was to far away.
YET, the store came up on the options list, I had booked it 3 weeks earlier, and the person calling waa not apologetic at all, just talked about the mileage.

No customer service, no help, glad I had Howdens booked in for later that afternoon - who were fantastic btw.
