Wickes - Dunfermline Reviews 

I recently visited Wickes Dunfermline for some paint and was helped by a member of staff named David (can’t remember the exact date). David was very attentive and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect shade and making it up for by me. Over all I’m very grateful for the excellent customer service and would return.

Big thanks to the young man, David (very tall guy with reddish hair and beard) who helped make sure my tile batch numbers were the same, and took stuff to my car for me. What a gent.

There was a bigger choice of what we wanted than other stores. ELAINE was extremely helpful and surpassed expectations by lifting 9 boxes of very big and heavy floor tiles and even loaded them in our car. We were very grateful. She deserves a medal 🏅 👏!!!!

Nikki in the Dunfermline shop was excellent. Couldn’t fault her professionalism and very helpful attitude. She is an asset to the store.

Firstly may I say it is refreshing to find Wickes has a multitude of building materials and plentiful stock on the shelfs that other companies did not have in without ordering! The ladies that served me were so helpful and knowledgeable about the products that I felt I had to share my experience on Trustpilot ! ✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️ 5 stars well deserved Shell and Nikki, Thanks again for all your help 👍🏼

Visited the Dunfermline store for large tiles, David P the staff member who helped us was absolutely first class with service. I first approached him when he was busy loading shelfs to ask for some information on stock availability. David instantly stopped what he was doing and couldn't more helpful. Not only did he come to help where my wife was waiting with my 6 year old he also pointed out that my daughter was standing on the trolley. He very calmly & politely spoke to my daughter and explained that she could fall and hurt herself and then pointed out the sign on the trolley saying not to stand on the trolley, the sign both me and my wife had missed. It's great to see staff that can not only help but also treat a 6 year old with the respect he did without chastising her, she even thanked him for helping her understand why she shouldn't be on the trolley. David then helped us load what we needed onto our trolley and also then went to the back warehouse to collect the reaming tiles on a pallet. He also went the extra mile by bringing the pallet out to the car and helped load heavy tiles into the car near 700Kg of tiles. We are very impressed and couldn't be more grateful. We are now just bypassing our 2 local Wickes as the dunfermline store is by far a better store, tidier, cleaner, better layout & staff that go the extra mile to assist. Just wish David was there to help offload the tiles too.

David P was brilliant, he helped me select paint and rollers, brushes etc to complete my downstairs loo project. Excellent service!

Kinga gave excellent service and very friendly chat when mixing paint for me. Will definitely be back for items for rest of projects.

The store had what we needed but the staff were key in advising on products. In particular David was personable and knowledgeable and made the whole experience very positive! We need more David’s!

My mum and I came in to look at paint options for her bedroom and were unsure on certain colours and brand of paint, we were helped by David P and he was so friendly, helpful and approachable, really made the experience better. He is a great asset to the team.

Balvinder was super helpful with planning our new kitchen. He came to the house to measure up (managed the barky dog!) and discuss what we wanted to achieve. He has so much experience and knowledge he was immediately able to suggest options we hadn't even considered. We had a further 3 meetings with him at Wickes where he was very very patient while we chopped and changed and challenged everything. He explained so much and was keen to show us examples of what we could do and the problems we might encounter. We are very happy with the result and it's all down to him!

Helpful, good humoured, polite and knowledgeable Nikki and Shell with me making a number of changes/swaps and refunds on parts for a gutter job. Couldn't have asked for better. I'll definitely be back to Wickes at Halbeath for my next project parts.

We recently moved house and have purchased a lot from the wickes store in Dunfermline in the last year while doing our house up. Justin is a great help, professional chatty and gets what ever we need lovely staff and can’t fault anything we have purchased from here we will be back

Clean, tidy and good selection of materials. Staff were also very helpful. Especially Deejay ,who explained the benefits of a trade account and helped me sign up for one

Great store with really helpful staff and a huge selection available! The click and collect is fab! Shell went above and beyond in helping me find a product and then when I’d forgotten to scan my card to receive a discount, she made it incredibly easy to rectify this and ensure my discount was applied.

Very helpful and pleasant to deal with made the purchase very easy
