Wickes - Shipley Reviews 

I have been doing my house up for 6months now and when I go into Wickes Shipley normally not knowing what I am looking for, there is a gentleman who always helps me. Today I found out his name is Trevor, he is brilliant and always friendly!

Had a couple of great experiences in-store over the past few days. I’m doing a project where I might need something more powerful than my combi-drill and looks at other options, such as SDS. Harris gave me some great insight into the benefits of getting an SDS and made me aware of the bit types and combinations I could use with it and what would and wouldn’t fit between an SDS and my combi. Great experience all round!

Served by young man called Harris, very pleasant helpful and chatty. Have met him a number of times always takes the time to have a casual chat as well as being knowledgeable. Thank you.

Visited the shipley branch for some plumbing bits and Trevor was kind enough to take the time to show me everything i needed to repair my tap. He also explained how to do it. He is a great guy with great stories! If im not in a rush i will always try to stop and have a chat with him if its not busy.

We wanted some wooden panelling for our bedroom and Tracy was great. She even let us check if the wood would fit in our car before buying! Great customer service, thank you Tracy!!

Bobbed in for some hooks and a FSU,Jenny showed me where the hooks were and the choice, she was a very helpful and friendly young lady, definitely due a payrise 😃

Popped in to the store on Tuesday for some paint samples and was assisted by the very knowledgeable Jenna. She explained the different finishes of paint and prices for each tin size. A very polite and efficient young lady.

Very helpful staff, Jenna went aboard and beyond to fine the correct product i was looking for. It was very kind of her to help me load my car up.

I was served by Tracy, who went above and beyond to go outside into the closed Garden area to retrieve the items I needed, so that I didn't have to wait around or come back on another occasion. Thank you Tracy!

Went to the branch at Baildon, Shipley was in need of 10 tins of fence paint but only had 3 in stock so asked at the till point if they could source more for me Anna on the till explained about click and collect but I needed it that day so she looked to see if any other store has any in stock she found some at the Halifax store so she requested that they do click and collect from there bit of a drive but needs must when I arrived at Halifax it was on a trolley ready to go and one of the guys even helped me to the car with it, supper service at both ends

Amazing store team, Brennan and his team go over and above for customers, They are all really knowledgeable and helpful. It’s my go to store.

Shipley wickes is my go to for all my home improvement projects , really helpful and knowledgeable staff and the store manager is a credit to your business

The store staff are brilliant, they go out of their way and go beyond to help. They are always pleasant and there knowledge of the store and products is amazing. Amar, the store manager, is great and always happy to help with a smile 😁 well done Wickes for your 💯 customer service 👍

All staff were polite and friendly, especially the man who served us, very helpful.

Quentin the designer from Wickes was very helpful offering new useful ideas. He offered options for us to consider to keep the costs within our budget. So far a really good service.

I visited my local store, Wickes Shipley and I have to say, the customer service from manager Amar was fantastic. He made the process of returning part of an online order easy and then helped me out with another item. He genuinely made me feel VIP!
