The worst customer service ever i have recieved
Went to buy flooring at 7pm bearing in mind they close at 8 pm so I had one hour of trading hour to purchase what i need. A guy called yosef short hair asian started getting mouthy to be saying we are busy come back tommorow morning to get your flooring. Like how dare can you tell me come tommorw when the store is open . What rubbish place to go for your goods. This yosef needs to be fired for the way he speaks to customers

Mike in the store helped us carry 5 bags of 25kgs of cement! I was with my mum and it was just so nice to have a kind human help us. Absolute above and beyond.

Hi as a builder I am a regular customer of wickes. One of the reason is all staff is vey helpful and friendly. Specially Jeeya, she is very polite and helpful. And of course all the staff.

Today i met a legend called mike duty manager at slough branch. He was very helpful and great person. He helped me with the sale and assited me ti bring the item to load it in my car. We need more mike in this world. True asset to wickes. Thanks Mike The Man.

Love coming to this store and seeing Shaylee. I’ve been coming to this store quite frequently for multiple projects including my studio.

Shaylee has helped me with paint choices, brushes, flooring and she’s an asset to your team and you’re very lucky to have her.

Customer service is always 10/10 and very informative.

I had a great experience at Wickes and a big shout out to Mike for making the process so smooth.

He helped me with an order that went wrong and sorted In 15 mins.

Fantastic customer service from a young lady called Meesha.

I have just visited the Slough branch of Wickes and was astonished to be told that I need to make an appointment simply to purchase a single kitchen door for an integrated dishwasher.

This door is to match my existing kitchen, which I paid thousands of pounds for in 2020. When I asked why an appointment was necessary for such a straightforward purchase, I was told that this is the only way an order can be placed.

Having now heard back from Wicks, I have been informed that 1 single door from the Camden range cost £160! No discount for the fact that we have purchased an entire kitchen five years ago. Very disappointing service from Wicks. There is no incentives or loyalty from Wicks, that we would consider shopping here again for our next kitchen!

I am extremely disappointed with the way my return and refund have been handled by the Wickes Slough branch.

I purchased a door on 15/07/2026 (order 700673294) and returned it to the Slough store just a few days later because it was no longer required.

The member of staff who received the door refused to process the return herself and told me that this had to be dealt with by her manager. I asked for a receipt or any written confirmation that the door had been returned, but I was told that this was apparently not part of Wickes’ process.

I was then told that the refund information would be communicated to the manager via WhatsApp. The employee even called the manager and gave them the details over the phone.

I was extremely uncomfortable with this process because I was leaving the store with no receipt, no return confirmation and no proof whatsoever that Wickes had accepted the door back.

Unfortunately, my concerns were justified. Weeks later, I still have not received my refund.

This is simply unacceptable. Wickes has taken possession of the door, but I am still waiting for my money, with no proper documentation and no satisfactory explanation.

For a major UK retailer, I find the handling of this return extremely poor and completely unprofessional. The experience at the Slough branch has seriously damaged my confidence in Wickes.

I would strongly recommend keeping very careful records when returning anything to this store, as my experience shows how problematic it can become when you are not provided with proof of return.

I expect Wickes to resolve this immediately and refund the money owed to me.

Jasvinder Pattar of Wickes Slough was so lovely and helpful when she came initially to our home to measure and discuss our requirements. She is very knowledgeable and patient also. Looking forward to the showroom visit.

Kitchen was fitted by Sabar and colleague, arranged via Slough Wickes. They were prompt and professional and skilfully dealt with some tricky fitting challenges; very polite and helpful in lots of small ways.
The Wickes system generated some confusion over delivery dates but the Wickes customer liaison people sorted this out straightaway. They were reassuringly responsive.

I am at the store. I wanted to buy fence capping. There are 52 in stock but there is no forklift operator to take it from the top of the piles in the stockpile. I am leaving empty handed.
Otherwise really polite staff and good prices.

I recently bought a kitchen from the Wickes store, and I want to thank Sakib Ahmed for his excellent service. From the initial design consultation to completing the purchase, he was professional, friendly, and very helpful. He listened to our requirements, gave honest advice, and worked within our budget without any pressure. His knowledge and courteous approach made the whole process easy and enjoyable.
Although we had some issues with the delivery, the service we received from Sakib was outstanding throughout. He was always willing to help and answered our questions promptly. He is a real credit to the Wickes Slough team, and I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a new kitchen.

Sakib is a very committed and thorough individual who takes time to go through your particular project and advises you accordingly. I have used him for 3 different bathroom projects and feel that he always has the customer interest at the heart of his appointments .

Had an appointment with Jason Fox, in all fairness there wasn’t an awful lot that could be done to change the layout of our current kitchen, nevertheless his knowledge & ideas were great and it was definitely a worthwhile experience 👍🏼
