Wickes - Staines Reviews 

I love WICKES! Since we started refurbishing our home, I’m there so often I should probably win a Customer of the Month award! It has everything you’d expect from Toolstation or Screwfix, and more—you can actually see the products and stock before you buy. The staff are wonderful too. A special mention to Lauren, who’s always happy to help, offer advice and even mix paint. Great store, great service!

Went into Staines branch, I asked a young man OLLIE if he had a good knowledge of stock he said yes, I asked for a leg to go under the end of a worktop, straight away he pointed to the bottom of isle 5. Found the leg there.
Nice to find a young man with the knowledge of the stock at Wickes, to me this is not a common used item.

It took over 9 months to come to some agreement with Wickes after ripping us off with a kitchen that was not fit for purpose that we paid over £15,000 pounds for .

They eventually agreed
To replace some cabinets and pay us £1,955.23 back with in 7 days this was on the 25/08/2026 we are now in October and haven’t Hurd anything from them and to top it all of one of the cabinets were damaged on delivery and was reported to Wickes immediately. Again Wickes are back to there old tricks and ignoring are calls and emails. What a surprise Hay!!!!! .

We are supposed to be having our worktops templated on the 18th of October but this can’t happen unless they send a new cabinet out.

Below is a copy of the email Wickes sent me in September.

Well I can tell you none of the above has been done.

You can never believe a word the customer service team tells you it’s all just lies.

So please stay away from this company because they have made are life’s very miserable and many other people.

We have had no kitchen for 9 months.

I went in to get some paint mixed. Staff very accommodating and didn’t hesitate to help me straight away. Hugely appreciate Barbara and her efforts! A massive credit to this branch.

The staff member who gave advice me on paint was so helpful, taking their time to help me choose the correct type for my wood windows. They even gave me advice on how to prep the window before hand, which was great for me a novice painter.

Customer service in Wickes was outstanding, Lauren spent time with me, made sure I had everything I was looking for and also made suggestions for alternatives for what I am looking to achieve. Highly recommend.

Great experience. Found what I was looking for quick and easy. Store is clean and tidy.

Feedback on Service received from Lauren : I am doing a major house renovation in Chertsey KT169DL which has led to many visits to Wickes store in Staines since May 2026 .
I would like to highlight that on every occasion , I have received outstanding customer service from Lauren . She was always friendly, knowledgeable, going above and beyond with my renovations needs and eager to help.
Her professionalism and positive attitude has made many of my Wickes visits to a pleasure.

Right from the start Charlie was fantastic, she was very professional, very helpful and extremely patience with us as we kept changing things, but with her knowledge it made it a lot easier for us to finalize exactly what kitchen we needed and wanted. Thanks again Charlie.

What a great design experience with Staines. Second bathroom designed. Loved the experience

Charlie was great to work with, she listened to our ideas and had a great knowledge of the product making decisions easy.
Delivery was made after one week and drivers were courteous and helpful, even placing units in the correct order fir assembly.

Just placed the order and met with our contractor. So far the process has been easy. Our in-store designer was helpful and knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted. She did not try to up-sell us which made us feel comfortable. So far so good.

I had to use this Wickes during a working day for some materials and was pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the shelves were.
I couldn’t find some items so I asked the store manager for help. She was super helpful and guided me to exactly what I asked for.

Overall it was a good experience and would come from far to use this Wickes again.

From the day we entered Wickes we found the customer service first class. From helping us choose our kitchen, the design and planning, right thro to our installation, every stage was handled professionally and efficiently.

Lisl was amazing , she really understood our brief and made sure we incorporated everything we wanted and needed into our kitchen. Would highly recommend her. Excellent customer service after our kitchen was completed as we needed to return a few items , quick and effortless process.

Really pleased with my experience at Wickes. bought some fencing and the whole process was really easy and quick. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly.
Would definitely use Wickes again!

Lovely gentleman called Drexel helped us as a family in the staines Branch would definitely go back in the store after his customer service

I shop at Wickes in Staines daily and the staff on the front end particularly Rouba, Vasuki and Daisy are very helpful and I look forward to seeing them every day.
