The staff have no clue. I ask for advice or where something is - “it’s over there”. I go to where he points, can’t find what I’m looking for. Go back to him and he sends me somewhere else. His best advice - “there is a thing called YouTube.” He also said he is “only a shelf stacker”. It’s disappointing when they don’t know the products they are selling. He seemed offended that I expected him to know how to build something. Not at all Mike, what I expect is for you to have some knowledge/understanding of the products you sell. I took myself off to B&Q where they actually know something.

Nat , was very helpful I didn’t have a clue what I wanted in colour of paint and Nat gave me different options and combinations that work well together, she spent time with me and never once seemed like she couldn’t be bothered , I came away with a smile , Nat is a very polite and helpful lady , so thank you

My experience over the telephone regarding not having the fittings for my sink was poor and I feel I was treated in an obstructive and unhelpful way. That's not the store staff's problem though.
In-store, the staff were fantastic; very helpful, and Natalie in particular was absolutely lovely, very, very helpful and made everything very easy. Thank you Natalie.

Just bought a new kitchen from your store in Tamworth. Jo Nickless was a definite factor. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. An A+ service that deserves to be recorded.

I visited the store and needed help as I was completely unsure which were the correct door hinges I needed. I spoke with a young lad called Reece who was really helpful. He personally took me to where the hinges are located, showed me the correct hinge and then the sale was processed quickly and efficiently. Thank you Reece for your brilliant service.

Booked appointment with bathroom design consultant Joanne, she listened to everything we asked for then booked a date for when we wanted the work to start, the whole process went like clockwork the installers were lovely and friendly they communicated with us throughout with what would happen next they left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day and did an amazing job at transforming our dated bathroom.

Nat in Wickes Tamworth was super kind and helpful with helping me find decorating rollers and sleeves, for a charity DIY event we were arranging. She found me the most cost effective solution and a discount to ensure our limited budget stretched. Thanks Nat, very grateful.

Wickes have provided an outstanding service. Not only have they listened and advised but fitted a beautiful kitchen for us. Jo came to our house and designed the layout which is perfect, she was very approachable and helpful. Dave fitted the kitchen and kept us informed along the way about what he would be doing that day and nothing was too much for him. I highly recommend Wickes at Tamworth they could not have provided a more outstanding service. Thank you to them all.

The service I received from Zack Reid at the Wickes store in Tamworth was second to none with my complicated bathroom project. He really took the time to talk through all possible options and products to ensure we came up with a plan to suit my needs for my disabled husband.

During our visit to Wickes in February 2024, we were in the process of getting plans etc completed for our home extension. This required a new kitchen to be arranged, but at this stage we only had architect plans to hand as the build wasn't due to be started until May.

We visited Zack who has been super helpful in the process. Zack worked from our scaled drawings as there was no building to speak of at this stage, and plotted together an accurate plan of our proposed kitchen. No detail was left unturned and he put us at ease throughout the process, and advised and took in our thoughts on how our kitchen would plan out.

Zack also assured us the logistics and timing of how the kitchen will come together once our extension reached a certain stage; so that the kitchen could be built and delivered on-time and installed. Nothing was prepared until I gave the nod, which relived any stressors.

Fast forward to Sep/October, the kitchen is now fitted looks and works a treat. The quality is high and couldn't be happier.

There have been slight issues with certain items, but all was resolved quickly and promptly via Zack, our installer Jake and the customer service team who couldn't do enough to look after us as customers.

We will be visiting Wickes again in the future for any further projects.

We've just visited your Tamworth store and me and my partner were made to feel humiliated. We purchased some paint at the nuneaton branch on Monday, we've gone to start painting our living room this evening and realised that the paint differs from the tester we purchased as the tester was an easycare paint. Found my receipt and headed there to exchange the 2 unopened tubs of paint. The first lady on the till was nice and polite and told us to go and get the new paint we wanted. When we returned to the till there was another lady called Nat I think her name was looking at the receipt. She first mentioned something about the offer that was on not being on the new ones..which we knew they are more expensive and we was returning 2 and taking 3 so we knew there was a difference in price. When trying to scan our receipt, the till couldn't scan it as the ink on the receipt was abit patchy in places. Then Nat told us she wasn't going to do the exchange as on the receipt it had written something about customer service. And she's never seen it wrote on the receipt before. I asked are you trying to say its fake? And she said you'd be surprised. She then went to go on and repeat a couple more times that shes never seen that wrote on a receipt before. We felt humiliated, working in retail myself I have abit of knowledge of how the systems work and I asked if the receipt couldn't be scanned could the details not be manually entered to pick up the transaction. The store number wasn't clear on the receipt so Nat went away to try and find it. She came back with her phone and told the lady to enter a number into the store section on the till ,she then entered the other information off our receipt which the till then popped up saying it was purchased from another store and then did the exchange. No apology was offered at all from either member of staff. Me and my partner came out very upset and angry about the whole situation. This would be normally be our go to store for any of our renovation purchases and I can quite easily say that I will be avoiding this store after the way we was made to feel this evening.

Was very impressed with the staff who helped us today it only takes a minute to ask what we wanted and it was no trouble for the young girl who was Called Elle. Wish all staff at shops were that helpful

Well what can I can I don’t normally rate a place of service but Elle here was exceptional she was very professional and i would say shes a credit to the company

Being new homeowners, like many the kitchen is high on the list to do. We’ve now requested quotes from a number of firms and locations before we ended up at Wickes Tamworth. The service, support and genuine customer first approach we received from Zack has been fantastic! From the outset Zack kept our price point front of the design plan while providing excellent ideas on how to get the best product for the price.

Never felt pressured at anytime and when we finally get to the time to have the kitchen done, we’ll be heading back to Zack!

Wickes Tamworth store was highly recommended in my nervous endeavors about getting a new kitchen. Zack Reid made the dream come true. Zack managed the bigger picture ~ the things I’d never thought about. The budget. The design. Time frames. Checking if the existing fuse board would take the load. We had several meetings & some at really short notice. We made several design changes & it was never too much trouble. For such a small kitchen, Zack packed a lot in to it! The kitchen delivery went smoothly as did the installation. I am so delighted with it all! Thank you Zack at Tamworth!

Arranged to have a consultation for a kitchen and bathroom at the Tamworth store with Zack Reid. Very professional service with excellent design options and ideas to maximise two small rooms. Zack thinks up innovative ways to to get the most out of the design whilst keeping my budget front of mind. Recommended products and styles that would go well for a great overall experience.
