I have been using widiba for a couple of years and I dont really know what to say.
First they sent me a debit card with a card number consisting of 19 digits. Yes, 19, not the usual 16. It meant that I could more or less not use the card at any freaking homepage because nobody accepted that.
Finally the card expired and they in the mean time had changed to start using mastercard. You would expect things to go well now, but no. After 2 months they blocked the card and it has been completely impossible despite several calls at their socalled customer no-service green number to get it opened again. They keep claiming that I used a wrong pin code 3 times which is absolutely bs. When asked "when" or "where" those 3 times pin codes were entered, they of course dont see anything in their systems and cant answer at all. And of course "since its my mistake", I should of course pay for a new card - which they would probably also just block after no time. What a crap bank!

As a response to the Widiba response below, I can tell that we had your customer support on the line 5 times. We have also - both on the home page and on the app - several times used your "unblock" feature. Each time we get a SMS with a code for confirming the unlocking ... and the app responds with "OOOps ... Error...!" And nothing more happens.
I really recommend you to suggest to your management to make small change of your name of the bank. Replace "W" with "STUP". That would make much more sense!

I'm using Widiba bank services for more than a year. Have a mortgage, current account and investment portfolio open with the bank. I really like how services are working and had only few problems that've been quickly resolved by support.
I like how the website and mobile app are built - both are easy to use and navigate. I honestly don't care much about commercial conditions of bank services, so maybe they are not on the cheap side of the range. Really cool thing is that Widiba has no offices which means that remote services are their primary focus and all the procedures are designed to work online. In contrary other banks are still trying to add a thin digital layer on top of their 19's century physical branches model )
So very positive overall and I recomend Widiba

Awful service. Kept billing at their will until I had in 6 months -100€ balance without spending a single dollar with their cards.

Unfortunately I have been moved from MPS to this useless bank. After 2 months still trying to access my account, no way to have support from the help desk they just don t know how to handle 2 nationalities for example……don’t try Widiba!

This Bank is a joke ! Every time I call for help they all give you different answer or most of the case operators they don’t know what to do, so they keep you on hold for ever.. I issue a check 3 months ago for a purchase that I didn’t need anymore and I wanna to deposit back in my account but and as today they still they need more time to deposit.. REALLY?? On top of that they don’t really care about anything and they really rude .
DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM EVER !!!
