You need understanding from the consultant

It is really quite difficult selecting a kitchen and fitting company and prices can vary tremendously , cheapest isn't always best and it is a long term investment to refit a bathroom . The initial selection of units and accessories can be quite daunting so having guidance is essential from someone who is experienced and has your interests at heart . We consulted Micheal Poulton at wikes croydon and expressed our needs and concerns and he guided and reassured us through the whole process making amendments to the selection where appropriate . He has reassured us as to our concerns regarding the fitting feedback and we are really happy with the service provided. I will update another review when the bathroom is fitted

Worst company to deal with

Had my kitchen installed in October 2019, had issues with the worktop joints. I have had 4 different installers attend to carry out remedial work. Its still not sorted. I have had to empty my kitchen several times to allow the installers access to the worktops. The last installer half completed the work and packed a wedge underneath the worktop. The worktop has sunk and the wedge is now visible. When I complained I was told that I have inserted the wedge. DO NOT BUY A NEW KITCHEN FROM WICKES. AND DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLERS.

I went in to the Crewe store

I went in to the Crewe store, 22/8/25 around 6pm and 2 members of staff Dan who mixed some paint for me but went above and beyond finding the perfect Liverpool red and I think Amelia on the Till,Were 2 outstanding members of staff
So Thank you both so much for your help and cheery chat.

Outstanding service

Thank you to Benjamin from Wikes in Martlesham. He went out of his way to help me this evening and was very polite, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. He is a real credit to your company - you are very lucky to have him as part of your team.

Avoid

Bought a kitchen costing a lot of money less that 12monthes ago. This week one of the cupboards fell off the wall causing a lot of damage. On inspection it was down to a fault. Do they care, no. Are they helpful, no. Do they get back to you, no have they done anything about it no. Even one of there own colleagues said they were useless and don't resolve issues. This kitchen cost a lot of money that I wish I had spent else where. Absolutely disgusting service. This is 0 stars but sadly won't let you give 0. Sort yourselves out wikes and your staff

Placed an order which said delivery within 7 days, now day 15 and not even any notification of delivery yet, even after numerous calls and emails. Very poor service!!! Its the last time I'll use this useless company

Shannon is an asset to you!!!

Popped into the Dunstable store to look at new kitchen units for our new home. Shannon came to my rescue !!!

Shannon arranged for a home visit to measure what space we have available. I explained that we would also be renovating the downstairs space and wanted to open the space as much as possible. With that in mind Shannon set to work measuring all the current rooms and taking into account the floor footprint.

We went back to the store later the same day where Shannon had designed our kitchen! Shannon actually went above and beyond and showed us the potential that we had with the floor space. Shannon also showed us if we were to extend slightly on an angle the space would flow better.

I’m so exited to see the results of Shannons design.

Bought units for a small bespoke area i…

Bought units for a small bespoke area i am doing for myself, ordered coloured edging to suit colour of decorative panels i ordered .Being bespoke it meant cutting panels and doors to suit the space i was fitting out.The edging supplied by wikes and described as "provides the perfect finish to any of your Orlando Marine Blue Kitchen units which need to be custom fitted. It's easy to apply and ensures that any cut panels have the same professional finish as the rest of your units" .Unfortunately the edging they supplied was the wrong size to edge the coloured panels .The panels are 18mm wide and the tape was 15 mm wide .When bought to the attention of customer services i was told that a manager would contact me within 24 hours ,this did not happen .the response from customer service seemed to be well we have your money but we wont help you .I expected better from wikes

New Kitchen

Visited our Wolverhampton branch to find out about a new kitchen. This is where we met Deb Mason our guide, designer and sales lady and right through the process she was understanding of what we wanted and listened to our needs. She designed a kitchen that was right for us with all new appliances as well as lots of space saving features and lighting. The whole process was easy and understandable, we now have the kitchen we always wanted and we are really pleased with the quality of the finished product.

I recommended Tom Gingell for all your Wikes need's

I had wikes recommended to me by a builder who requested me to buy supplies from there but I ended up going all in with Wikes, a representative of Wikes arranged for a designer to come to my house to measure my kitchen and bathroom as they needed doing, the designer was Tom Gingell from the Oldham branch and what a sound guy he was friendly, professional and knew what he was talking about, after the measure up he invited me to the store where I met up with him, he helped choose the style, material, and design and he went the extra mile to provide me what I needed he showed exceptional customer service however after all that my credit check failed and I couldn't get my kitchen/bathroom sorted and even though all failed Tom still showed exceptional and excellent customer service I was a little gutted that my application failed but I was extremely happy with Tom's service and I highly recommend him to anyone to use his service if your buying from wikes in Oldham. Keep up the good work Tom Gingell.

Wikes Banbury Kitchen Designed by Trevor

Have been trying to sort out a new kitchen for my home, have visited quite a few different suppliers with no real joy, until I went to Wikes Banbury and met Trevor who was absolutely amazing, his knowledge of the kitchen ranges and worktops was excellent he also was so patient as I had a lot of question's!!! which he was happy to answer then he followed up with a visit to my address and we have come up with a fantastic design which I’m really really happy with… Thanks again Trevor will be in again to go through some details and get the order in Regards Kam

Wickes kitchen

I had been planning to update my kitchen for a while, but didn't know how to start. I was in Wikes and went to speak to the design team. They couldn't have been more helpful. They listened and asked the correct questions to help me realise what I really wanted. There was 4 week from initial design consultation to the start of installation. My design consultant was very efficient and answered all emails and phone calls. The installation took less time than expected and I had great communication from the installer. They were professional, clean and efficient, checking on everything from grout colour to the way the fridge door opened. I can't fault the whole process from the initial meeting to the rubbish being taken away. I was at work when the installation happened so I had very little input. I can't fault any part of the process

Terrible unresponsive customer services

Be Aware - Bathroom nightmare as detailed below. and No telephone number to chase the below issues raised is available.

Expensive Bathroom Nightmare continues

Bathroom Nightmare. Bathroom cabinet replaced 3 times - still faulty cost approx £500. Bath panel went yellow from white. Sink is cracked - we have sent photos of the aforementioned to customer services 3 months ago as requested months - no response. Shower cartridge has now stopped working - we are unable to contact anyone in customer services -and the shower is flooding the bathroom!

Through Trustpilot we have been contacted by customer services sent photos and a report x 2. However, once this is received nothing else happens (even when you confirm the name of the individual you have forwarded the aforementioned onto) leaving you in limbo with very expensive bathroom fittings not all of which are fit for purpose.

Don’t use Wickes!

We wanted a new kitchen but didnt expect to get our dream one. From the first visit to the last contact regarding our counter top Kathy at Wikes, Norwich has been fantastic!!! Top notch customer service with care. She genuinely wanted to help us get it right, cane out 2x for home visit and really made sure it all went smoothly. Our kitchen fitter couldn't believe there was no missing items in the delivery(as regually fits other brands that always having missing items) and commented on the high quality. I can't recommend Kathy or the Norwich store enough. Thank you J&I.C

We purchased a lovely kitchen from Mike…

We purchased a lovely kitchen from Mike wood at Wikes broardstairs. We was very impressed with the overall service from start to finish we went through the design at length even staying behind after the store had closed to complete the design. We chose to use our own kitchen fitters but the overall finish is brilliant.

Incompetent. Avoid like the plague

Ordered and had to pay in full in advance. The salesman misled us about the extractor fan, assuring us that the more expensive one he recommended had a removable, washable filter. It doesn’t. All the units were delivered in advance and they damaged a freezer in my garage in the process. (Tbh they have paid a token compensation payment) Fitting commenced on 31 Oct and is still ongoing.. five units are still without doors, replacement doors were also faulty. We have been misled about call backs and delivery times. The huge rubbish bags (two of them) are still outside and are an eyesore, with no word on when they may be collected. Stressful, frustrating and I wish I’d never heard of Wickes. If you are thinking of a new kitchen, please look elsewhere
