*Day one we arrived to nairobi n in the hotel we got to pay for the dinner. Wat is the use of the package then
* Next Day food was not packed they clearly said the hotel management doesn't allow take away food.

We had paid around 3900 dollars wasn't it enuf. Even I run a academy n we do know wat business is. This behavior was typically like a below par Indian tourist company around Delhi.

Customers satisfaction n retention matters n not high profits n poor quality.

It was my first ever tour and I am quite pleased with the way everything was taken care of. I also got to learn a lot about the places that we visited that I would have completely missed on if I went there alone. Wild Voyager managed everything from end to end and made our travel a lot more comfortable and educative than normal.

Wildvoyager organised this Ranthambore Day Safari for me while I was on my way back to Australia from Germany and had a stopover in Delhi. This was to be my first ever wildlife safari. And what an experience I had. Wild voyager took care of all what is required for such an adventure. We boarded the train from Delhi for a short 3 hour journey to Sawai Madhopur which is the nearest railway station to Ranthambore. Was well received at the railway station by one of the Wildvoyager representatives and was whisked away to Sawai Vilas. It’s a newly built resort and wow - what a resort. The service, room, facilities, food everything was top class. Slept well that night and left early morning for my first ever wildlife safari. Wasn’t expecting much but when I saw my first Bengal Tiger, it was awe inspiring. It was Majestic and was walking along the trail without any care in the world. What impressed me is the knowledge of the Wildvoyager operators about giving space to the tiger. I also witnessed a black sloth bear going about his morning routines, spotted deer, Sambar deer and heaps of peacocks. Never seen so many peacocks in one place. Went back to the resort for breakfast and came back to the jungle for the second round of adventure. This time saw two male tigers (brothers) - one was resting under a tree and the other was relaxing in a pool close by. Spent quite a while with them. And then spent the rest of the afternoon seeing more deer, mongoose, more peacocks, neelgais and monkeys. Overall made my day.

Ranthambore Trip 22nd December to 24th December 2018

It was winter of 2018, a few of my school friends decided to make a family trip to Ranthambore Forest Reserve. I too could not resist the potential ‘good times’ and joined with my family. The travel was between 22nd December to 24th December, inclusive. BTW, it will be good to share at the beginning that Anuj Mukherjee one of our class mates in the trip owns Wild Voyager, the touring & travel company that had arranged our trip. It is always good to have someone who knows these Forests really well on such trips. Nevertheless, we can not thank Anuj enough not only because of the flawless arrangement of travel and accommodation , but also had all the Jungle Safari pre reserved. Shhhhh…….we had more advantage as Wild Voyager people knew the jungle like the back of their hand and adjusted the safari timings accordingly that increased our chances of seeing the famous Tigers of the reserve. Something to be considered by anyone who is planning such trips.
We were a group of 20 people including Anuj. Most people arrived from Delhi, Kolkata and other places by air and a few by train. All of us that travel by air met at Jaipur airport on the morning of 22nd Dec. There was a bus already waiting to take us to the Shergarh Resort, Ranthambore at the periphery of the forest. It is about ~4hr trip from Jaipur. Had the famous and ‘Piyaz kachori’ on our way. A good start!

Soon, we reached Shergarh Resort around 1pm and was joined by another group of friends who travelled by train. The nearest rail station is Sawaimadhopur at within 30 minutes from the resort. They also had a car and were picked up to the resort. At the Resort – the accommodation and food, both were better than what we were expecting – well spread, large well done rooms with local Rajasthani paintings on the walls, ceiling, and with all required amenities required for a comfortable stay. Families were happy.

The trip included a total of 4 safaris. One on afternoon of 22nd the day we reached, two more the next day – morning and afternoon and the 4th on the morning of the day we returned. The safaris included one open Jeep ( most of them were Maruti Gypsy) and one Canter ( it is like a military truck with open roof). Initially we thought it would be too hectic to leave for a safari just after we reached but we were briefed well and the chilling air ,and mesmerizing beauty of the jungle soon replaced the tiredness with eagerness and enthusiasm.
1st Safari, 22nd Dec Afternoon – The group saw 3 cubs ( who were almost grownups) of the tigress named ‘Noor’. The were possibly resting in Sun by the water after a ‘hunt’ and ‘food’ and were in a fairly playful mood. On the way back, what luck, the group saw the most dominant female Tiger of the reserve ‘Arrowhead’ by another as the sun was setting down. What a beauty – shutters were refusing to stop. The Wild Voyager team and the resort had arrange a Bonfire in the lawn – with food,music, drinks…! The friend and their families including the children had an amazing time….sharing experiences, stories, clicking photos and selfies…! A fun evening most of us will miss for a long time to come.

2nd and 3rd Safari, 23rd Dec Morning & Afternoon – While all the Tigers ( 65 in total across the 10 zones of the reserve) gave us a miss, the group experienced amazing terrains with lots of Deer, beautiful Birds, Sambhars, Neelgais, and a lot of Peacocks! The return followed by another evening of Bonfire, food, stories, local music, dancing and lot of fun. 4th Safari, 24th Dec Morning - Final day....It was like a royal closure to our trip... we were all scheduled to return the same day. Since we didn't see tigers the previous day our hopes of seeing another one was quite low. But as they say you need to be lucky to see a tiger. So were we. There was ‘Kumbha’, a handsome male tiger. The group saw him very close ( within 10-15 feet of the vehicles). Again the shutters refused to stop. There he was walking along the path , marking his territory …… He is a true Royal Beauty!
Back at the resort, over lunch - the group chatted of the sightings over and over again, each one wanted to express what they saw, what they felt…. ! Such was the overwhelming experience we had! It followed some shopping at the only shop at the resort. The ladies felt it had good stuff @ fair rate than the market in cities like Jaipur.

There was a couple of cars and one Bus that were arranged for our return to Delhi and Jaipur ( most people had to catch flights back to their respective cities).
Overall , it was an amazing experience. Thanks to Wild Voyager for arranging such a well organised, comfortable and a memorable journey. 😃. Most of us would love to come back in one of the summers in the reserve.

Wonderful Indian Wildlife Experience
Our Tiger trip at Ranthambore from 22nd-24th December was the most superbly organized and thoughtful executed wildlife experience I have ever had.Anuj Mukherjee is the best tour organizer and guide.From the pick-ups at the airport drop offs,check-in at the hotels to the drivers that took us from one place to the other everything went without a hassle or delays.I am now trying to figure out how to travel Bandhavgarh and other wild safaris again in the near future.I would recommend Anuj without reservation to anyone wanting the Indian Wildlife adventure of a lifetime.

I had one of the most remarkable tour with Wild Voyager during my Ranthambore trip in Dec 2018. Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that our guides truly cared about us and did their best to make this trip memorable. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the forest and specially our face off with two Royal Bengal tigers walking just 5ft approximately from our vehicles. The culinary experience of Laal Maas (Rajasthani Red Meat) will be cherished forever.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay & safari at Ranthambhore

Had a wonderful trip to Kanha with Wildvoyager. Everything was well organised and they gave me great pre-trip advice on photography equipment as well as other requirements for the 4 days that we spent in the jungle. Travel arrangements were well done and the accommodations were great. The safaris were the highlight and Alankar and Anuj made sure that my long unfulfilled desire to see a tiger was satisfied not once but many times over.
It was a great trip and I have absolutely no doubt that I will be taking more trips with them in the future.
