I like them for the most part i always call before to get a price and usually they give one but when i go in its always lower even if spot hasn't moved or even went up slightly. they are open to some negotiation though and ive found some cool pieces in there before.
Went in to buy a silver bar over 100 oz. Taken to some shanky back room and shown two choices (different than what was promised on phone). I tapped the bars to hear the distinctive silver 'ping'. I got a thud instead. I asked about 'is this one of those china fakes' and was told to take it or leave it. I asked for them to weight it. They said their scale was broken. I was rudely asked to leave.
