WinCo Foods Reviews 

I’ve had mixed experiences here but overall I still like the store. Even though I’ve been mad at their service and store policies multiple times I still can’t help but shop there due to their selection and low prices.

I go to WinCo foods often at North Wenatchee Ave.
The evening of 23rd an Ray was handling the walk through registers and he was awesome, full of smiles, easy to talk to, friendly man!! He is the greatest ever!!! That's a very hard job to do an Ray does a remarkable job!!!

Worst experience ever, cashiers are new but management is awful, I guess store managers can do what ever they want and make their own rules and be racist and homophobic.. the Vegas stores suck.. this company needs a rude awaking.. I think it is time the masses show the power and start the winco boycott and send them back.. they seem to forgot where they came from.. they are a step up from the dollar tree..but the excess have no problem spending millions on mansions... employee owned,.. that Is a is code for we do what ever we want cause we are employee owned.. just imagine having millions of bad employees running a company and you have WINCO

We have always enjoyed shopping at win co. Their prices and quality have been terrific and still are reasonable. They seem to be catching up to the other grocery prices though.
Today I just found out they don't seem to want to cater to any kosher foods and none of the varieties other than 4 boxes of Matzos.
We have always bought gefilte fish, candles, and many other varieties but today, when all the other stores have set aside areas for passover foods, winco has done NOTHING. I was told by their 2-3 managers, that they are not stocking kosher food anymore, due to their warehouse not shipping any.
Winco gone anti-semitic???? I certainly hope not, but in todays radical climate I certainly hope not.

On 3/05/2023, I bough $50.76 on my EBT card and went home. I then look at the EBT app and saw it was charged twice. I went back and told the customer service employee, she told me that she need to call the supervisor. The supervisor then told me that it will automatically drop out and credit back to my card in 4 or 5 days. A week later and it still not corrected. I went back and now they told me that I need to take the transactions # to EBT and they will put the money back to my card. They told me that it EBT fault and it been happen for 4 to 5 months now. I then went to EBT and they told me that I need to fill out a paperwork and it will be up to a month, if they approve the claim. I got the receipt and on the their app show double transactions, but I still need them to approve? My concern it that Winco don't care about their customers, if they do, the need to work with EBT to fix the problem that going on for over 4 months. I got no issues with other supermarket, so it seem that it Winco and EBT issues. So now I going to have to borrow money to buy food for the rest of the month. We know EBT don't care about people going hungry, but Winco is supposed to be a family own supermarket, should they put people over profits. Some time companies forgot when they started after they got big and making a lot of money.

ON going problem ! Emails sent never acknowledged by winco. The least expensive loose / bulk onion have no upc label attached. The cashier automatically keys in highest UPC code. What a RIP-OFF !!! I have lost a considerable Amt. $$ these past years.

I was in the cash or card self checkout and had my own bags, which for some reason require a checker to log in and clear how many of my own bags I am using. When the checker arrives she tells me I have too many items and I can only checkout 15 items or less due to the machines breaking down because of too much weight, apparently. So, I said can I just ring up 15 items, pay for them and then ring up the others as a separate order, so the machine doesn't get overloaded? And the checker says I will get someone to explain this to you since you do not understand. So, she calls over another checker who is quite rude and I ask her if I can ring up two separate orders, so I do not go over the weight limit and she tells me, NO! You can only ring up 15 items. At that point, I took my purse and my bags, left my cart and said, "That is ridiculous. I will no longer be shopping here again." So, Winco, you lost a customer due to the fact that I was not allowed to use the self check out for 2 separate orders. Which I might add is how I always check out, each and every other time I have shopped here. I guess your customers are not a top priority for you, good to know.

buttermilk and homestyle biscuts are too small cant even make hotdogs in a blanket and expensive price

Safeway 1 lb lentils = $3.50
Winco 1 lb lentils = $1.05

When WinCo Foods start came to Lancaster, CA, I started shopping there and picking out the best produce and meats that I enjoy the most, like tacos. Actually, I have the best experience with WinCo foods and I am very ambitious and energetic with their service.

I was not sure about there products but when I try ro save the money to buy groceries I choose Winco and Winco is helps me a lot! Big difference with other grocery stores.

Low prices for low quality.
Be careful of multiple ringups for one item.
Asking for help or if help is offered turns out to be pointless.
Being a step up from the Dollar Tree doesn't justify the attitude of the people working here.
Winco Foods does support Buying Large Mansions, that explains things somewhat.

Better than Walmart

WinCo consistently has better prices on many items, and their store layout makes good sense and it's easy to find things. Employees are always kind and considerate.

It's a good thing they're open all night during this covid-19 crisis

Unethical management at WinCo Roseville CA. Very bad customer service skills. Employees are very rude.

Great company, good prices, quality food without added junk, ethical, Cooperatives are the future!
