Total scam

Total scam. The software doesn't work as advertised, and you end up in an endless loop of "customer service" until they can run out the 30-day refund window. DO NOT give this company any of your money.

I love WinX DVD software, its the best.

I have been using computers since the early 90s, and have used WinX DVD for many years. I love this software, its brilliant, and it works extremely well while being very user friendly. If I ever needed a question answered or issue resolved, the Support Team worked with me and didn't stop until I was happy. Best Support Team I have ever worked with. I have used a lot of different software over the years, but always use Digiarty Software, its the best.

Rapid response

Not only do I like the programs and find them easy to use, but support service is outstanding. After destroying my system, I needed registration codes for a couple of their programs. Even with a huge time difference due to our relative locations, I had a response from digiart within an hour. Really great!!

Don't buy this

Edit after refund:
After almost 30 days of testing and in my opinion, way to much unnecessary writing, due to lack of actually reading what I'm writing, I got another version of one of their programs as a test trial, which was able to handle the video, that I didn't needed anymore, as I had found another program to handle the task at hand.

My file was a 64gb MXF file, so you might want to try their VideoProc Converter and not WINXDVD for this size and filetype.

Trial version works, lifetime premium doesn't.

I tried the trial version for a 64gb project file, it seemed fine for the 5 minutes of limited trial conversion.

Ended up buying the lifetime premium stuff, and then it made green size bar on the 2 hour processing result, rendering it useless.

The 30 days money back guarantee , apparently doesn't cover this, unless you undergo extensive trouble shooting with the support team, for them to verify.

The refund was requested around 3 hours after purchase, as that was the time the processing of the file took and for me to find a replacement program.

Now I'm stuck in what seems like an endless communication, because they offer me 50% refund because it didn't work. So they are kind of accepting my terms, but don't want to make the refund.

I found Movavi to be able to handle my urgent project without problems, even thought it's a bit more expensive, it just get the job done and I bet if I where to use their customer service, it would actually have some service into it.

Half works, but doesn't do what it's advertised to do

I purchased WinX DVD Ripper Platinum in order to rip MP4s from DVDs. The free trial (limited to a 5-minute clip) worked fine, so I purchased the full product. However, it kept crashing and didn't produce MP4s - I didn't get an error code, it just vanished and nothing was produced. I contacted support, who did respond quickly, but asked me to send a screenshot of the problem (not practical, as it's hard to send a screenshot of a program that just vanishes off the screen) and to use "safe mode", which is slower. That half-worked - when I asked it to do a full title copy, it randomly chose 3 tracks out of six and ripped just them (and that was intermittent - it crashed a few times). Again, I contacted support who told me it didn't matter as it will automatically choose the "correct" file. Well, my DVD was a tutorial DVD with 6 tracks, and was about 2 hours long - the three MP4 files amounted to about an hour. It hadn't ripped the others, so I had to do them individually.

In the end, I gave up with trying to rip to MP4, and just produced ISO files instead, which I can play with VLC player. Since I just wanted to back up DVDs since my new PC doesn't have a DVD player, that's fine - and the software produced ISO files OK. The bottom line, though, is the software didn't do what it claimed to do, and is very buggy - I suspect it just doesn't work very well with Windows 10.

EDIT:

I did request a refund - initially is seemed that the 30 day money-back guarantee had caveats as you had to demonstrate that the product doesn't work at all. However, since posting this review, their support team have now been in touch with me and offered me a refund if I remove this review. I don't need a refund as I am using the software to create ISO files (not originally what I intended, but it will do) so I'm leaving the rest of the review here - but it seems that they will offer a refund if you persist.

Digiarty Software: "All systems go!"

I have been a user and customer of Digiarty Software and have always been satisfied with the simplicity of installing and using their programs. I sometimes download to experience the initial use of trial software and once it becomes problematic I uninstall. I have never had this with Digiarty Software. "All systems go!"

Dear Shirley : thank you so much for your help it is & was very appreciated ! I had tried changing my destination folder but it didn't help , how ever I tried again and excluded the folder from security virus scans and tried again with a video I had previously added to my hard drive and the process started as it had before. I went onto the video i wanted to backup to my hard drive the program process started and preformed flawlessly completed very Quickly . I have had this program for a number of years and used it many times in the past so I was disappointed when it didn't function as it had in the past. I'm happy with your program . Super Support from WinX DVD

I have had a few occasions to reach out to the WinX DVD Support Team for problems I encountered with some titles I tried to backup. They always provided prompt, courteous directions to solve my issues. They are located in a different time zone from me and it may take up to a day for a reply, depending on when you submit an email, but they always respond.

I swear by WinX DVD Ripper Platinum

I have used WinX DVD Ripper Platinum for years; I swear by it for converting stuff I have on DVD into a more rational format. (Hmm, that makes me sound really young, but in fact I was around for Beta -- which just means I appreciate all the more an opportunity to extend the life of my entertainment.) This program hasn't disappointed me yet. And the customer service really IS top-notch. I emailed them for help with a mistake *I* made, and in less than a day they got back to me with the exact solution to my problem. OK, I sound like a shill. But seriously. This software and these folks are GREAT.

This is great software

This is great software. It does what it advertises to do and it does it well. Did I mention the email based customer service? It is top notch. I have had computer failures a number of times in the past and they will always have the codes you need to get back up and running quickly. If you are on the fence about winxdvd dont be.

Product won't work for me. Update: received a refund.

EDIT: After I posted this review, I was emailed by WinxDVD and they have processed the refund for me. I'm glad this issue was resolved, even though it should've been without me posting a public review.

I bought a one-month license for WinX DVD because I only needed to use it for a single DVD. The software didn't work and would only rip around one minute. Sent an email to customer support with the log file, which started a series of back and forth as they tried to offer solutions. They do reply quickly, which is nice, but none of the solutions worked. When I asked for a refund, they instead just gave me more things to try that all failed. At this point, I no longer even needed the product because the event for which I needed the DVD was already over. Again, I tried to ask for a refund, and instead they tell me to try a different program. I told them at least twice I had no use for another product anymore and instead would like a refund - because their software didn't work. At this point, they simply don't even reply to my question about refund and still try to get me to download another of their products so it can be exchanged. I have no use for this other product so have no reason to want to exchange it. For a product that has '30-day money back guarantee' on their website, this is a serious disappointment and it's exhausting that a refund can't just be offered when the product has shown not to work for me.

I really like the conversion software

I really like the conversion software. It's really great for backing up my dvds and converting to MP4 so that I can play movies on my Roku and other devices. If I have a problem, the customer service is very fast and helpful.
