I never really got the hype of ‘specialised’ wiper blades - surely any new piece of rubber on the windscreen especially after months of poor visibility, would seem a-mazing!

But ...

I’d recently sold a vehicle and being a responsible seller, I’d given it a last service (with a wiper blade change - the regular, autobox standard fare). The car didn't sell as quickly as I'd hope, so I had the pleasure of driving with those new wipers. Yep, I could see better, there was definitely an improvement and I made a mental note to look after my blades going forward - being able to see on the road, is so underrated ...

Anyhoo, vehicle eventually sold back in February and I got my new-to-me vehicle ... with wonky wipers. I recalled my visibility promise to myself and set about finding out what the specialised wipers auto market, was all about (Facebook's ad algorithm really do be reading peoples' minds, as I quickly found a discount code)

A quick purchase was followed by a speedy delivery, and easy install on my new-to-me ute. I've been driving with them daily since. Yeah, they REALLY are SO good. No steaks, haze ... can't really put my finger on it, other than it's been 6 months and I still have that new blade feeling on each and every drive.

I smirked that they sent a link to a tutorial on removing the old blade and putting on the new. Who'd need that? I thought to myself

Well ... ME! I did ...

I was totally undone last week when I went to install a new set of Wipertech blades on the wife's Jeep. The pesky little, rear blade had me completely flummoxed - I simply could not figure out how to remove the old wiper blade! Then I remembered Wipertech's video tutorial and it made it make sense, in less than 5 seconds!

All in all, it's been a pleasant experience. 6 months of use on two separate vehicles, and I'm a convert (and that they're just up the road in Melbourne, is kinda sweet).

Now, if only there was a version for my motorbike ...

I have used Wipertech blades on all my vehicles for many years and thoroughly recommend them for whatever make of car you have. The after sales service is excellent with videos supplied for fitting instructions but most of us wouldn't need them they just snap in place and fit perfectly.

Wipertech sent the wiper I ordered and it works well.

Easy to deal with

I needed new wipers anyway and kept getting the IG ads so I figured I’d give them a go and honestly.. they’re amazing.

Being able to select your car on the website is a great feature because confirms they’ll fit and then automatically carts the sizes you need.

Some people in the comments are going on about the price but for the ease of use, reasonable shipping, very quick shipping speed and a guaranteed fit, the price is well worth the convenience.

The purchase process is quick and easy but I am pretty impressed with the follow up after you’ve purchased. They send out tracking emails but also send links to install guide videos for people who aren’t experienced with doing it themselves so that they can learn and empower themselves. Very nice touch!

Quality wise they are excellent. No streaks, no noise and they’re just as good at wiping dust away as they are with water. Can’t fault them. Worth buying.
