No real vegan options
Been visiting the area for nearly 30 years and really want to support local pubs like this.
Had hoped to enjoy a meal with family, but unfortunately the only vegan option was a nut roast—which felt like a box-ticking exercise rather than a real effort to be inclusive.
I appreciate tradition, but with veganism growing for ethical, environmental, and health reasons, I’d love to see places like this offer something more thoughtful. I genuinely want to return, spend money, and enjoy the experience—but at the moment, it just doesn’t feel welcoming if you’re vegan.
Gave it an extra star for having a dartboard, so may grab a drink and throw a few arrows in the meantime.
