I really want to like Wolky but...

I like a pair of waterproof boots although they looked worn very quickly, but I was wearing them a LOT over a 3 month period. I think the suede finish is not the greatest for outdoor waterproof boots. Then I bought the loafer/sneaker and wore them once. The soles of of the shoe scuff the microfiber (?) letherette and when trying to rub off the scuff, I ruined the finish of the shoe. I wrote the company to see how to best repair this damage and never heard back. Both pairs of shoes are comfortable and I like their looks, I just don't expect the brand to last long which is sad at the price point.

Bought a pair of boots £229.00.initial…

Bought a pair of boots £229.00.initial thoughts great company. Was kept in touch through emails until delivery. That's when it all went wrong. Boots classed as wide fit ? Not.emailed for return note 3 separate days ,only last one worked .so delivered 8th Sept. Returned 11th Sept different courier. Emailed them16th Sept. Yes they had received them .trying to get refund impossible. Excuses included, accountant busy ,bank holiday ,money sent,finally escalated upto paypal after nearly a month waiting refund.paypal brilliant. Finally got refund this morning, 10th October. Never again . They really need to get their act together.

Don’t buy sneakers online, try them on first. Very costly postage and I still haven’t received first refund

I bought a pair of Wolky sneakers in Feb and received them promptly. However postage cost to Ireland was €20 and because they weren’t right fit I returned them at a cost of €15. And the refund I was told was processed on 28 Feb but I have not received this as yet. Trusting that will be ok I ordered a different pair which were to be wide fitting and they arrived but alas they are not wide enough. So today I have requested another returns number. At this point I have paid in excess of €400 and do not have a pair of sneakers that fit me. I think for me this says don’t buy online, try them on first. I have been wearing Wolky sandels for over 10 years and never had an issue.

We do our best to offer a variety of styles and fits, but as you’ve noticed, trainers and sandals can have quite different fittings. Our wide-fit models offer more space, but every foot is unique, and we appreciate that finding the perfect fit can be a challenge.

Wolky Feel XW sandals - so glad I found them

I took a chance last summer and ordered a pair of Wolky Feel xw size 43 for my sister who lives in Israel. She has wide feet, and they are the best sandals she’s ever owned. They’re also very attractive. She has trouble finding her size in Israel. They’re a bit expensive (but worth it). I wonder if they ever go on sale. I’d love to surprise her with a second pair. I might even get myself a pair.

Can’t maintain my boots

Can’t maintain my boots - I need replacement insoles, and am told I can only place orders of £50 or more on the site and there’s no way to order over the phone. So I need to order 3 pairs of insoles to get one pair. The boots were expensive - I can’t believe they don’t support their customers better.

terrible bad customer service.
I placed an order and my order keep getting cancelled with not explanation at all by the Customer Service.
I received emails saying order can't be processed , called and they have no reason either.
What type of business is this that a customer can't place an order ??

Very disappointed

Very disappointed with returns service. I can’t access my order on the My Account facility. I have messaged the company twice and phoned twice but have not yet received an email with a return label. Delivery was about two weeks. I was prepared to wait but am very anxious now that I haven’t heard back about my return. A shame as they were excellent before 2020 when I first ordered shoes.

*Update: I have now received my return label. Apparently there was a major power outage which affected the internet.Still not sure I want to order shoes through Wolky again, even though I love the style and quality of their shoes and boots.

Yes they take a bit longer to arrive, BUT.....

Yes they take a bit longer to arrive, but they are SO WORTH it. I have had difficult feet all my life, but have been in heaven since discovering Wolky 15 yrs ago. I love being comfortable, but also wearing shoes that are zingy, eye catching, colourful and very different. The problem is..they never wear out so I buy the odd new pair as a treat. I did have to return a pair once and it was an easy friendly service.

Bad service regarding orders

For a second time I have the same experience with an order at Wolky online shop. Last year I ordered online and paid shoes, after one week the shoes didn't come. When I called I was told that they will send the shoes. No explanation why the shoes were not already sent. Now I have the same experience. I ordered and paid for shoes, one week later still no shoes, no email, nothing. Only after I called and ask where the shoes are I got again the same answer that the shoes hasn't been sent yet and that they will send them now. So 2x the same experience - I paid for the shoes and if I didn't call and ask about them I would never see the shoes. Wolky takes the money but doesn't send the goods. Having 2x the same experience I know that this is not just some mistake, it looks like a structural thing at Wolky.
Another issue what I have - I ordered second pair of shoes on 5.4., website stated that the shoes will be delivered from 10.4. After calling today 12.4. I was told that the shoes will be suddenly sent from the 25.4. So similar experience, shoes that are ordered and already paid suddenly are not available from the 10.4. but perhaps will be available from the 25.4. Wolky is simply taking payments for shoes but the delivery of the shoes seems not to be their priority. And everyone knows that the price for Wolky shoes is not low.

The dye stains your feet....

I bought some Wolky sandals and they are very comfortable. I have wide feet which can be bothersome but these sandals were great...However, they leach dye and my feet are badly stained which is a real bore. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the sandals again for their comfort but the leeching dye would stop me doing so...

I have just seen the response from Wolky....It may be that I could remedy with a vinegar and water solution but is it really my up to me to do that? The sandals are £125 and to be honest I would have expect the manufacturer to ensure the leather had been treated to prevent leaching...

You can easily fix this problem by using water and (cleaning) vinegar.
Just take a cloth and go over the leather leach and/or footbed. It will remove any excess dye.

Shoes are never pretreated by a manufacturer. The most important thing after impregnation is to let it dry thoroughly before wearing the shoes.
This is not possible in a factory where the shoes are made, also because of the substances that are used, this has to happen in the open air.

Wolky the Invisible Shoes

Ordered pair of Wolky shoes for my daughter. They took my money order didn't register on their system. Contacted them a manual order was processed and shoes dispatched. They got to Yodel's sort centre U.K. But were never forwarded to Ireland. After waiting three days I contacted Wolkyshop to be told that my shoes had arrived in Ireland but that they couldn't track further as Yodel's website was down and left it to me to follow up. Now Yodel doesn't operate an email contact system but has a live chat facility that is always busy and inoperative however they do have Twitter contact after several tweets and a further 3 days they informed me that the shoes were lost. Two weeks from the date of order and had to buy an alternative pair of shoes for my daughter's birthday. After 2 further emails I was granted a refund. What a terrible waste of time and effort! This company may make great shoes but that is terrible customer service

Brilliant shoes!
No more burning feet was looking for a very long time for such comfortable shoes, at last, I found them here in the UK.
