Wonky Veg Boxes Reviews 

£8.50/week for 3 bananas, 3 apples, 4 mandarins. Twice. There won't be a third time...

We live outside of the local area for Wonky Veg boxes so ours have been delivered by DPD. We have had excellent quality produce, a lovely variety, delivered with care and have received fantastic customer support from Hollie and Stuart

Always super friendly and helpful when I contact by email....and delivery drivers always lovely.
Veg and fruit selection is great and often makes me try something different 😋

We take the medium veg box and medium fruit bag once a fortnight. Good variety of produce. Sometimes they are a bit small, large or misshaped but that's the point, there is nothing wrong in that. Everything comes loose in the cardboard box or bag, except if there is something delicate like mushrooms or berries in which case they come in a plastic tray or paper bag. So minimal packaging too, another bonus.

The fruit wasn’t packaged well! Some crushed kiwi fruits all over the box and other fruit in the delivery.

The deliveries are always friendly, efficient and on time. The veg are well-packaged and protected from heavy rain. Sometimes items are too rotten to use (usually onions or potatoes) but not too often, a long time ago I requested no more sweet potatoes (which worked for a while) but we still get them from time to time!

Wonky are consistently great. Good range of produce and I love helping to reduce food waste.

So expensive for what you get. Thought I was saving some wonky veg but ended up getting my pants pulled down!

Not impressed.

I've not been getting deliveries for long, it's only been around a month but I am very pleased I made the switch. Not only does it mean I get to feed my kids more veg as taking them shopping they don't really want the healthy stuff but with some of the things we have received so far they actually argue over who is having the weirdest wonkyist Vegetable or fruit. Very happy highly recommend 👌🏻

After ordering my Wonky Box and reading the reviews here, I was a little apprehensive about what I would receive.

However I was pleasantly surprised, I ordered on Monday, 13 January and it arrived Friday 17th, so no problems there.

The contents were awesome, and compared to the supermarket, quite fresh. So I am delighted with my Wonky Box and will be a returning customer 🙂🌻🍒🥔

Purchased over Xmas period so first order cancelled (no notice anywhere that they were closed for Xmas). Following week I had a delivery but half items missing and the discount code I used previously wasn’t applied. Customer service agent advised they weren’t able to send the missing items. The discount difference was also refunded to me. The veg was all great. Fruit not so good. Apples all bruised, oranges too soft, melon too soft, I think it was actually off as my son pulled a face when he bit it. The bananas! I can’t believe they sent them. They were bright green but absolutely mashed up to a mush. The missing items were eggs and bread and due to the poor quality and missing items in my first order I cancelled my subscription. Better to not advertise items you aren’t able to provide and have someone check fruit is it god quality. There is wonky and there is spoiled.

Have had a few "wonky" type boxes delivered in the past from varying companies and i must say i was disappointed with the selection and quantity that was delivered. The quality was great as was delivery and communication. Just didnt feel this one was particularly value for money.

Sadly I was really disappointed with my first box. Half the carrots were split so unusable, mouldy onions, and a lettuces that was squashed and battered under the potatoes, and cherry tomatoes rolling around getting squashed too. Potatoes and a butternut squash were the only usable veg.
Fruit was 2 apples a bunch of bananas and several dry shriveled inedible oranges. £5.50 just for that small amount of fruit that would have cost £2 from a supermarket!
I really wanted to love this but just feel totally ripped off!

Lady who delivered the box of veg was very polite and respectful, asked where to put the veg if I wasn’t in and asked me to save the box for collecting on my next delivery,

I know they call it wonky veg but I thought the veg would of been fresher and a bit more for the price, I had 2 peppers both bruised and the green stalk on one pepper had started to go mouldy,
Parsnips had gone over and all bendy by the next day,
Carrots didn’t look fresh plus, the sort that you have had left at the bottom of the veg basket and would think oh they be ok for a stew!
I had cherry tomatoes as part of my box and they were all rolling around with the mud covered potatoes, yes I will wash them before using them but I don’t think it would of taken 2 seconds to put the tomatoes in a small paper bag,
The sweetheart cabbage looked like all the outside leaves had been taken off to make the cabbage looked better!
The courgettes were nice and fresh,
1 large potato and around 3 small potatoes
2 farty looking cooking onions that feel soft.

I felt like the box was just left over Christmas supermarket veg,

I will be keeping to my supermarket veg 100 times fresher and more than a quarter of the price,

To say the medium box would last 2-3 people a week is just not correct,

Unfortunately I have cancelled the other deliveries as just not for me, but I wish them all the best for 2025
