I bought a carving axe from wood tools but after a few spoons blanks the head became a little loose. I contacted them to arrange a replacement. Robin replied quickly, sending a new axe out and a returns label for the defective one. Great service, thank you.
Order #45153. This is a review of the axe I received and customer service. I was sent a Carving Axe last week. It was immediately apparent that the axe head was misshapen. I completed an online Contact form and sent a separate email explaining the problem, including photos. Over 1 week later, I have received no contact from the company. I understand that things might be busy and I accept that others have received tools in good order, but that is not the case for me. I have tried to post a review on their own website with the above information, but after more than 24hrs it is still not showing up. Extremely disappointing
After a bit of a mix up, Regarding the right handed axe and spoon making kit, Jo Jo sorted out the problem and the missing items are on their way as I write this, so I'm happy to give them a thumbs up, many thanks

Bought a axe and a spoon knife. Recievede the axe with a chipped edge. Contacted wood—tools but they wanted me to Pay for shipping the axe back to them. It would cost me about 20£ to do so for a 40£ axe.
The Spoonknife had big dents in the wood and was very badly finished.
Ideally the costumer should not pay for a Company fault.
