I specifically chose Woodlodge’s Heritage Garden Pottery range and paid a premium price because the tags clearly state ‘Guaranteed Frost Proof.’ That guarantee was a key reason for my purchase — I wanted pots that would last outdoors through a British winter.
Several of my pots have now been damaged by frost. I contacted Woodlodge to ask them to honour their guarantee and received absolutely no response whatsoever.
If a product is marketed with a guarantee, customers have a right to expect that guarantee to be honoured — or at the very least, to receive a reply when they raise a concern. Neither has happened here.
I would strongly advise anyone considering these pots to think carefully before paying extra on the basis of the frost proof claim. Based on my experience, that claim appears to be false, and the company shows no willingness to stand behind it.

I've been trying to contact Woodlodge in regards to a faulty outdoor fountain that has rusted beyond repair for 3 months now with no response. Very disappointed!!

Woodlodge are a company that take pride in missleading their customers.

Do not be surprised if you buy one of their products and find a completely different item in the box.

When raised with them, they will tell you it’s not their problem and to return it to the small independent company they miss-sold it to themselves.

If you like to support companies with morals, values and who value their partners and customers, I suggest you look elsewhere!
