I came to Wood Medispa after hearing wonderful reviews.

I booked in for a consultation with DR Jurga, and further to this went ahead with surgery in June. I put all my trust in her & she exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous but she made me feel at ease & I knew I was in good hands. She has given me confidence I never knew I had had and couldn’t recommend her enough.

I’d also like to thanks felicity for sorting my appointments & helping me with the process. Along with the wonderful team of nurses who looked after me during my stay. This place is amazing, all staff are lovely and very welcoming. The grounds are stunning, the facilities and the food are also aamazing.

Thankyou to everyone, especially Dr Jurga. I’d happily do it all over again. Can’t wait to come back for my 3 month review.

Deep Plane Facelift was performed in April 22 after 2 consultations to decide on right course of effective action. Excellent pre surgery consultation service and aftercare as I popped in for a quick check post surgery on the way past one day, all staff so accomodating. Surgery itself is not for the faint hearted but James McDairmid and team were all amazing, setting and rooms are wonderful and aftercare for my 2 night stay was like a fully rested holiday. Results have exceeded my expectations, still healing after 8 weeks and excited about the long term results. I will be returning for a mini tummy tuck and lipo early next year for sure. Thank you to the whole team, you made me feel relaxed and comfertable.

In 2004 after extensive research, I put all my trust in Dr James McDiarmid when I opted for him to carry out my breast augmentation, I was not disappointed! Fast forward 18 years and I decided it was time for me to make some 'tweaks', and for me there was only ever one person I would consider for the job. I really did not imagine that my experience would be any better than the last but it was. You are only ever going to get 'The Best' when opting to work with James, but the whole Wood Medispa experience he and his team has created is really something else! Literally everyone you come in contact with, from the welcome at Reception, to the nursing team, even the food provided (oh my god the food!!), is next level. I'm not exaggerating when I say I really did not want to leave! 😊. So, by all means do your research, but take it from me, you will not be disappointed. You get 'The Best' when you go to 'The Best'. P.S: I never write reviews, so that's how good it was!

Iv have 5 surgeries with James mcdiarmid, 2 x breast augmentation, FDL tummy tuck, rhinoplasty and a deep plain facelift and deep necklift and I'm extremely happy with my results, he has changed my life as I'm more confident, hevis always there if i have any questions or concerns, im now in for an arm lift in September and I know I'm in safe hands

Had breast augmentation surgery in June 22 and really pleased with the results. I would highly recommend James McDiarmid and his team.

I have had my under eye bags removed and a breast uplift. Extremely nervous each time, but was always made to feel at ease, comfortable and extremely well looked after with amazing results.

I had a breast augmentation with Mr McDiarmid and could not be happier with the results. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that my original date was changed and I was squeezed into a late surgery space meaning I did not go into surgery until 8pm. When I came out of surgery the chef had gone home, the food I got was reheated and one of my nurses made me feel like I was being a nuisance when I asked for anything. I left the hospital at 10am the next day after a total of 12 hours post surgery. I feel I missed out on the wonderful aftercare experience that I had heard so much about. I would use WoodMedi again, but I would not take a late appointment. Ultimately, my surgery results are fantastic.

I attended Wood MediSpa for a rhinoplasty and was initially wondering if it might be better to go to a surgeon who exclusively does rhinoplasty. However, Mr McDiarmid had an excellent understanding of which type of nose would suit which face, and he completely captured my wishes in the 3D software at consultation. All my questions and concerns were addressed, and I felt confident to go ahead. The treatment at Wood MediSpa was amazing, lovely food and the nurses and all staff were so nice. I was extremely nervous about pain but everyone made me feel at ease. I got near immediate responses when I had a question about recovery etc. I am so happy about the result and can really recommend this place, it will be my go-to for any type of procedure in the future :)

I could not recommend James McDiarmid and his team more. Not only is wood MediSpa the perfect setting the team are amazing and James is the best in the business. James has given me back my confidence and I can’t thank him enough. I have had several procedures and my opinion is the same every time .I look forward to returning x

I couldn’t recommend James McDiarmid and Woodmedi spa enough. This was my second surgery with James McDiarmid and am extremely pleased with my results again.

Wood MediSpa is a calming, relaxing environment with friendly staff in a beautiful setting. It seems to take the stress out of what can be a worrying time. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Firstly, I I would like to say how apprehensive I was to have my procedure (rhinoplasty and buccal removal) as I was not being able to have visitors. I have had previous surgeries with Dr James Mcdiarmid but non on my
face, however I felt reassured from through his honesty and knowledge. He’s never worried about telling you when a surgery is not needed and has a patient centred approach, which is really refreshing.

Medispa is a tranquil location and after having surgeries elsewhere I feel that it offers better recovery through its closeness to nature. I woke up to the birds singing and natural light shining through my room.

Both the nurses, health care assistance and anaesthetist were also excellent. Zoe, Holly, Gail, Georgie and Denise were so attentive and their treatment really shone a light on true patient care. Nothing was too much trouble and I didn’t feel the need to have visitors as they offered amazing support and time to talk to me….plus the copious amounts of tea without prompt.

I just want to say a massive thank you to a very humble team.

I had vaser liposuction with Dr Wilson and from the outset the service was amazing, Dr Wilson was friendly and gave me a great amount of options and advice. On the day of surgery, everyone was so nice even when I was really nervous, massive thanks especially to Ella, Celleste, Helen, Tom, Ash, Karen and Adi. I was well looked after and the food was absolutely amazing. Aftercare has been brilliant, and the results 3 months on are already amazing, I have much more confidence now and cannot wait to see how the results get better over more time. Would recommend to anyone!!

I recently attended wood medi spa to have a Tummy Tuck and Vaser Liposuction with Dr Paul Wilson. The place is amazing and the care you recieve is 2nd to none. The nurses were on hand to offer support and guidance when needed and always had a smile on their faces even at 2am. Especially Janice and Zoe to name a couple who were quite happy to come and have a chat for 30mins. When I got scared of having a canuala Kevin held my hand to help me while Andreas did it. They both popped in after the operation to see how I was doing. Paul popped in to see me as well and made sure I had everything I needed, and to tell me how the operation went. The rooms are so nice and big and the food is amazing like a Michelin star restaurant. I would love to return to just walk around the gardens in the summer as the view form my room was wonderful. If you are considering surgery then please book it here as the before and aftercare is amazing.

I recently attended Wood MediSpa for a revision scar operation which was conducted by Dr Ash ( as I affectionately called him!) Dr Ash along with Dr James McDiarmid and the team were absolutely brilliant on every level. Dr Ash explained everything to me, talking me through the process of the procedure along with showing me the final result at my request. I now have a small pencil line scar which will eventually disappear in time anyway.
The whole procedure from start to finish was extremely relaxing, calming with the final results being the outcome I wanted. I continue to highly recomend the professional service and creative work of Dr Ash , Dr McDiarmid and the amazing staff at Wood MediSpa in such a tranquil setting 🙂🙂

Wow what a fabulous place, after having breast augmentation I’m so pleased with the results I’m 6 weeks post op. All the staff are very welcoming and so lovely, they all looked after me so well, I would highly recommend James and his team ❤️

Had a lipoma removed from my back. Excellent care from both James and all the staff, very friendly and welcoming and as everyone else has said – the food good too. All I can say really is that I second all the previous comments! Beautiful surroundings and facilities and I was really looked after in a kind and considerate way.

I cannot recommend James and his team at Wood MediSpa enough! I’ve been so satisfied with the care I’ve received and I’m thrilled with the outcome of my procedures (1 year post op abdominoplasty and 1 month post op Fat Transfer to breasts).

The gardens and building are beautiful, and certainly not your typical hospital setting! This instantly made me feel at ease. The staff are so friendly and the food was phenomenal!

However, the thing that I’ve been most impressed with, is the aftercare. Whenever I’ve had a question, or a minor concern along the healing process, I’ve had an answer almost immediately and from James himself, and I’ve always come away feeling reassured.

I recently had breast augmentation with James McDiarmid who was recommended to me by a friend. I had been researching on and off for several years but could never find someone I was 100% happy to go with until I met with James. I had my consultation with him, he made me feel so comfortable and thoroughly explained everything to me making me feel so at ease. I booked my surgery right there and then.
My stay at Wood Medispa was incredible, the place itself is more like a hotel! The nurses couldn’t do enough for you, honestly made my stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The food was amazing, definitely 5 star worthy and just what I needed after surgery! All the team involved in my surgery introduced themselves and explained what they would be doing which I appreciated a lot.
Overall my whole experience was amazing and I couldn’t recommend James and his team enough! I’m now 4 weeks post op and have never felt more confident in myself, the best decision I have ever made.
