Nice yarn, but the red is very difficult to use due to the dark color and thinness. I also never received an order confirmation from Wool and the Gang which was very odd. I had to reach out to customer service to confirm I ever even placed the order.

Alpachino merino wool is gorgeous. Soft and squashy but with good stitch definition. Perfect for a comforting blanket and lovely to work with.

I am a novice knitter and was given a Wool and the Gang kit as a gift, which encouraged me to complete a bigger project than I had undertaken thus far. The wool (Alpachino Merino) was easy to knit with and the pattern was clear and helpful. Encouraged by my success, I purchased a more ambitious kit (still beginner-friendly) and although the wool (Feeling Good Stripe) is a little more challenging to work with for a newbie, it is very lovely. In addition, the pattern is clearly written and the support videos are helpful. I'm still learning, but the beautiful wool is a real incentive to get better.

I have ordered a range of products from Wool and the Gang over the past few years. Everything has arrived well packaged and within the expected time. I had not knitted for many years and had only ever had basic skills so have found their many online tutorials absolutely essential. They are so clear and easy to follow and have given me confidence to attempt increasingly complex patterns. I have learnt stitches and techniques that I never knew existed. I have also found their team very helpful on a couple of occasions when I have emailed them for help. I also love the range of colours they have to choose from.

The product is great but the service could have been better. I was sent the wrong materials initially, looks like my order was mixed up with someone else's. Wool and the Gang re-sent the correct order and offered a refund for the change in price between when I ordered and when they re-sent the correct order. While I am very grateful for the refund in change in price it did mean I had to wait close to a month for my project to arrive. They also incorrectly calculated the refund and I had contact them again to get it corrected.

I wish there was a picture of the finished blanket on the instruction sheet - it's very basic.

My kit was just what I wanted. The yarn was very nice and the sweater came out fitting perfectly and has received many compliments!

Wool and the Gang is my GO TO for all my yarn. It’s always really good quality, it’s fairly priced, the color selection is vast, and it’s easy to work with. I’ve made so many wool hats and mittens for my family while we lived in Alaska. Everything ships remarkably fast. I hate buying yarn at big stores now.
