Woolworths Motueka since supposedly…
Woolworths Motueka since supposedly restructure why is there no meat at 9.30 this morning. I enjoy shopping there but it is ludicrous there is no meat on shelves like the chicken breasts on special. Sometimes restructuring is not a good idea as the customer suffers.
It is beyond improvement as the opening…
It is beyond improvement as the opening of its new Nelson Junction Store confirms. Six online orders all initially charged at the ordered price rather than- as they claim - only for the goods delivered. Customer service phone switches to recorded music. Email contact suggests contact “Olive” a complete joke. Still owe us money but have finally given up changing to another supermarket.
Woolworths Gisborne is terribly…
Woolworths Gisborne is terribly understocked and has been for months. Absolute wast of opportunity when pak n save is doing a refit and Christmas new year holiday visitor. Management Need to have a look at themselves
Diane, Tim and Fina
Diane, Fina and Tim, thank you for your kindness.
A massive thank to Diane, Fina and Tim At Woolworths, Porirua. Your staff are all so helpful. Tim is consistently thoughtful and kind, always very helpful. Today he noticed I hadn’t got a trolley, and with a lovely smile, and a positive attitude, he asked me if I wanted a trolley. I replied, yes please, and Tim got a trolley and brought it over to me. Awesome initiative. And Diane noticed I was puzzled over a product, and although she was busy, she came over to me and politely asked if I wanted help. I certainly needed it! She was very observant, helpful and sorted things out for me, being very patient and explaining with clarity. Fina was very thoughtful and helpful both of the last two days-and so patient. Thank you for employing such outstanding staff, it is so appreciated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The only supermarket that run out of…
The only supermarket that run out of turkey 2 weeks before Christmas (Waiheke) and other Auckland outlets a week before Christmas. Turkey is available in every Pak’n Save store but not in Woolworths NZ. Also so many other products like fresh whole duck for example, available in Pak’nSave. Countdown was managed much better then Woolworths.
Woolworths Gift Card SCAM
If you see any promotion on Woolworth gift cards BE WARNED. It is a scam. The cards have no value loaded. You don't discover this until the awkward moment at checkout. Then customer care puts in so many roadblocks you give up chasing it. The first time it happened to me I spent over 5 hours trying to redeem a $20 voucher... gave up as there no end in sight, and there is no economic sense in spending hundreds of dollars in time trying to retrieve $20. It happened again this week with my employers $50 gift card. Not going to waste my time dealing with Woolworthless. Far more productive to warn others of the SCAM.

My complaint is about their online service.
Had one delivery guy invite himself into my home! Walked right in on a rainy day, with his muddy boots! I was left to clean up the mess he made.
Apart from "So sorry" Woolworths did nothing to put it right by me.
I am tired of paying $1.50 for ONE paper bag! That happened again today. That same paper bag cost 0.30c at the supermarket. It's an item for sale like everything else, so why are online customers forced to pay 5 times more for the exact same paper bag?!! It's not the $1.50, it's the principle. Their monthly delivery fee has gone up $3 as it is. I'm done with them.
Went to Woolworths Lynnmall
Went to Woolworths Lynnmall. New lynn. The bakery section half the shelves empty and not a good selection.

I use to enjoy working here, I'm staying because there are far worser jobs out there and my team are mostly nice people..
The problem now is after the restructure that went live on the 3rd november 2025.
They wanted to get rid of supervisors and managers to save some money but these were the people holding the departments together.
Now there are only 4-6 managers + the store manager depending on the size of the store, more work for the people who decided to either stay or re-apply.
The so called *better together* model where everyone from different departments is a jack of all trades and master of none works well on paper and theory but in practise is backfiring, this restructure was solely a corporate move to save money off the backs of it's workers and feels like a stab in the back.
The previous structural model was working and was sustainable, this was a greedy move and only puts more stress on workers and the turn over rate will only increase now..
Good job Woolworths committee.. (sarcasm)
Trying to complain about a woolworths…
Trying to complain about a woolworths branded product via the website. The "human" vishina in the other end was rude and cut off the conversation before I had finished typing. Clearly sarcastic and obviously sick of hearing complaints all day, even though it's her job.
Underwhelming Deli disappointing
I am a pak n sav customer generally but as their deli is a bit ordinary I decided that the new Woolworths at the Junction would be worth a look and had great expectations of the Deli.
I was so underwhelmed that I feel Woolworths needed to get feedback.
The selection of cold meats was woeful, small piles of over processed ham and luncheon. The ham looked to be of the cheapest quality, nothing resembling ham off the bone or shaved ham. The cabinet display was not inspiring at all. It seems a shame that a brand new supermarket invested so little thought into what constitutes a superior deli, bowls of olives, sundried tomatoes, soft cheeses, healthy salads, ready to go lasagne or pasta dishes.
I will not be a returning customer.

Not a shoplifter
A few days ago I was accused of walking out of Woolworths Ferry Road (Chch) without paying. VERY EMBARRASSING to walk back into the store and show my receipt to prove I was not a thief.
Get your act together Woolworths and give your hardworking staff the training and resources they need to prevent them from making avoidable mistakes like this that alienate loyal customers such as myself.
Visited Woolworth Greymouth
Visited Woolworth Greymouth, was served by Nazia . Very friendly and helpful.
Deli hours of business
I shop at Woolworths Hastings every Monday and at times Thursday's. My experience is "Why have a Deli" it is either not open,or is out of stock of my chosen purchase. This is a regular occurance, and is very frustrating.I travel some distance to do my shopping. This is under review as of this week.Any information as to why is appreciated.
Not professional at all
I see that the reviews of Stoke Nelson are generally good .My experience is that the staff at checkout are young or the older ones are moody .I expect at the least that the staff can say hello if nothing else as I usually wait for a greeting but doesn’t come .Im just a normal person but when the greeting doesn’t come I say “hello how are you “ .Is this my place or have i mistaken the protocol of a business.Yeah not really impressed as im a shopper here weekly .
