This company is untrustworthy...and their response here shows it.
You should avoid using any products from this company.

They will lie to you to get your money and then they will refuse their agreed upon refund.

Here's what happened:
I asked many questions prior to purchasing.
One of the questions was: can I use the stripe plugin instead of paypal.
The answer was, "Yes, you can use Stripe plugin. It is available for purchase."

What they did not tell me was: Stripe does NOT have the same features as paypal...which I did not discover until after setting up my website. With Stripe, you cannot use: discount codes, free trials, or recurring payments in any meaningful way. The plugin also produced a substandard UI which, of course, they offered to fix for an extra fee.

Near the end of my two week initial period, I asked for a refund since I could not use Stripe and they said, "The features you have asked for are in development. Can you please wait for them to be done in the next couple of days?"

I asked, "Can I get the refund period extended?"

They said, "Of course."

Two weeks later: no updates. So I asked for a refund.

"Kind sir, please wait a few days. Your requested upgrades are almost done."

Every day for a week, I asked for a refund. Every day for a week: same response.

They then claimed the upgrade was done.

During this time, I also discovered that this plugin is not FOSTA friendly nor is it GDPR compliant....so I continued to ask for a refund.

I left a review on trustpilot...to which they responded today, "We used your money to do your requested upgrades and now you want a refund for no reason. We will not provide you a refund until you remove the review from Trustpilot."

So now...I am on a mission to let EVERYONE know what kind of business this company is...Thank God I'm in the online web business, right? It's not like I do things like a keep a running journal of web entries...

UPDATE on May 9, 2018:
They offered me a refund, if I would agree to take down my reviews. I told them I did not trust that and that I wanted the refund first.

I received the refund.

My reviews stand...because they are honest and truthful...and our agreement initially was that they would extend the refund period for me...and I had been requesting a refund for almost a month straight when I finally received it.

Now, I have been threatened with a lawsuit by their "Attorney" in Arizona: Kelly/Warner PLLC by a man claiming to be one of the owners of WPDating.com.

I'm not sure he realizes how many different ways he can be countersued...but there it is...I would not do business with this company or recommend it to anyone ever again.

I will be posting a new website this weekend with all of the documents and emails with WPDATING showing the appalling response contained below to be completely untrue.

The APPALLING response written below is an example of a completely disgusting company who will go to no lengths to scam their customers out of money to provide a product that can be completely reproduced using buddypress...for free.

Further, it shows the character of the company in the absolutely malicious way in which they have responded to a valid and legitimate review of their “service.”

Do you really want to do business with a company that will stalk you on Facebook and expose details of your personal life to The public simply because you posted a bad, yet honest review?

The WPDating team has asked me to write a few lines about my experience with setting up my dating website for Cosplay personalities.

Having only functional knowledge of using Wordpress it's very much required to have a team standby when you have to setup all the packages and rules after installation.
When I could not find a team member on the chat I sent in a email which was replied in most cases within 20 hours.

Having promoted the site in my Facebook groups has given me positive feedback and a couple of signups.

All in all the experience in the first 3 weeks has been positive.

Best dating plugin

Best dating plugin to start your dating business. Had couple of small difficulties but the support helped me out with great enthusiasm and everything was great.

at first I used lavish date theme and later on i switched into LoveMatch. Anyway both are very intriguing and works perfect.

Their free continuous support is what I like the most.

With this plugin and no major error I will be able to release my website ahead of the deadline 😀

Revised: I feel that your product is good, however, support, self-service is inadequate. Here is a list:

Installation Guide is hidden, e.g. not in your General Documentation is rather within your support forum.

Your current release is 6.3, yet your Installation Guide is labeled Installation Guide for 4.7.x (This is also the install guide for 4.8). That is 2 major releases behind. Last Post for this guide is dated 4 years ago

Your Forum post, many are dated 3,4,6 and 7 years back and should be pruned to make self-support efficient.

It is troubling that you're releasing code without a beta to your customers. The last post in you Beta forum is 3 years old.

This is clear indication that WPDating is not investing in a commitment to support the code. Provided there is a lifetime license, that lifetime needs to be supported with more care and attention

I will provide you a dev environment to look into resolution and hope WP Dating can document what the resolution to the problem so that replicating resolve in the future doesn't require assistance.

These people are an absolute joke, I accidentally purchased the the complete plan instead of the platinum package, so they made me pay $49 for the lavish theme and then pay $79 for installation that was done very poorly, icons missing, text appearing under the slider causing it to squash the photos. I emailed them 4 times before i finally got this fixed, Don't even bother asking how to do anything like edit pages other than the front page, because they just ignore you. Their knowledge base is so out of date that pretty much whatever you type into the search box, you get the same answers and all the answers are over 2 years old. You have to be a member to be able to see this, but it looks like they have turned the knowledge base off to people leaving comments there because there is a LOT of bad comments on there ignorant attitude towards their customers. There documentation is scant to say the least and their video tutorials? well just forget about it. out of date and really don't tell you anything, that is if you can find them. In a nutshell, There is no customer support unless you hound them and the problem is to do with there programming (and there's plenty of programming problems). If you need help in how to configure their plugin....... Forget it, they just ignore you.
There are a lot better companies to deal with i can assure you.Save your money and your heartache and buy somewhere else.

An update, since posting this review, I have received some customer support from wp-dating,(pretty much on the same day as posting), They did ask that i take this review down, which I am not prepared to do until I'm sure these people will continue with their support.

The theme is very good indeed and is extremely customisable for the price. I have been able to achieve quite a lot with the theme. I shopped around and this was the best theme for the best price - you won't find better.

Big let down for me though, which I found out too late and after losing 50% of my potential first month's subscriber base, which was over 40 people, is that the theme doesn't allow user's to choose their own password on sign up, instead it generates ones automatically and sends it to them via email, this then means half of my potential customers never finished signing up and completing their profile! Wpdating instead ask you to spend an extra $15 or so on an add-on so users can create their own password on sign up. I have since paid for this and now retain 100% of my sign ups.

The customer service is very good and they look after you but is limited to a certain time of day as I believe it to be in India but I am not 100% sure of this, but the guy is very knowledgeable and always very helpful.

I do highly recommend the company and the theme even though I have had a couple of teething problems at the start.

AFTER ALL TECH SUPPORT FIXED AND IS STILL FIXING ALL THESE ISSUES.

SO FINALLY IN THE END I CAN SAY THAT I AM SATISFIED AND MY EXPECTATIONS UPFRONT HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED ACCORDINGLY THE PRICE-QUALITY BALANS OF THIS WP DATING PLUGIN.

BUT FROM START THERE WERE TOO MUCH BUGS, ISSUES AND STRUGGLES WITH TECH SUPPORT MENTIONED BELOW.

I am very dissapointed in this product wp dating plugin.

Because I payed 269 USD, but I get lots of BUGs, I needed to send already 50 !!! support tickets for this and get unprofessional very bad support so most isdues still not fixed after almost 2 months.

For almost every feature is needed an extra payed offered addon which are not inclusive my most expensive package.

Besides lots of features depending on 3rth party plugins or account which are not free and charged extra too.

Payment gateways can only be used by some random globally big payment providers which are not the best and not the cheapest in offering online payment methods.

Furthermore the offered Themes and plugin are not developed accordingly WordPress conventional development standards.

Lots of BUGs in languages without support to fix it, while they are managed by the most bad & worsed wp language plugin qTranslate and support only direct issues to them to solve.

Zipcode system is developed generally while every country have an unique zipcode system and so unusable in for example The Netherlands.

States from countries are not included and zipcode search only work in combination with 3rth party Google API and are not automaticly updated once in a periode with latest new zipcodes.

States and Cities are not connected so this function only works right seperately and combinations are not possible to set.

Also the coding quality is very amaturisticly, very big coding and so much outdated written in so very low quality so customizations very hard to realise without an external developer ..

.. and than even for professionals hatd to work with.

And so I can go on a little while and in other words:l his plugin is:

A big joke, nothing to do with the WordPress system conventional concept and technical support even a bigger joke !!

So if you aim to make a proffesionally dating site ..

.. please reconsider if you will purchase this poor plugin !!

I bought the WP DATING Pluggin some four years. In that time I have chopped and changed my mind over which site I am going to use the pluggin on, I have had my email address changed and lost the details to the original one, as well as having a computer blow up on me thus losing the program all together.
WP DATING have always been there to guide me through any problems I have had and help me keep the pluggin operational and up to date.
In this day and age there is a vast majority of companies who want to make a fast buck who would not be so helpful. This alone deserves a 5 star rating. However it is not only the above the fact is WP DATING Pluggin does exactly what it says it does, once again alot of pluggins do not. So if you are looking for a dating pluggin , I totally recommend WP DATING PLUGGIN.

This is a great plugin. The guys at WPDating are also a great help and they will definitely communicate with you. They are always prompt when you send them a question and they are always willing to help with any questions or problems that you may have! I have no complaints with WPDating team. I would definitely say they are LEGIT and the DSP Plugin is great way to start your dating site.

Fantastic people and great service/support.

I bought the premium package with installation.
Support was very friendly. Problems were quickly helped.
Installation package is with members was Ok!

I think that the customer service is outstanding and I highly recommend creating a business relationship with them.

I had purchased the WPDating Child Theme plus Installation Package but needed Tech support every time I mess up things (I'm a drop and drag baby) on WordPress settings. Nikesh has been so wonderful. He is so knowledgeable of all the issues I've ever had to resolve. He's very quick to respond and fix.

Plugin works fine until now, when we have finished the site and it works perfectly then we will give 5 stars.
We had problem with lecentie key but that is perfectly solved by support wpdating.
