Zero stars…. I received notification from Land Rover regarding change of insurance company in February. My insurance is due for renewal and today my husband received an email regarding this when it has always been very clear that I am the registered owner and main driver of the car in question. It also quotes monthly payments which I have never been happy to do (or requested) as I have always paid annually. The quote is almost half of what I would expect which throws up yet another red flag. I shall definitely not be renewing my car insurance with this company and I suggest major car companies look into this in detail as personally I feel this can reflect on the trust we all have when purchasing a car from a reputable dealer and any recommendations they may provide.

I am severely dyspraxic and the thought of trying to sort everything out online was scary. Gemma and John were both helpful and courteous over the phone, helping me through the online process. Thank you for a great service.

I am trying to confirm a 12 month personal lines motor quote from 5 day cover.
This would be new policy because had to move due to stupid prices LV are producing currently. Moving on, the car is in my name BUT primary driver is my spouse. As with the previous LV policy. I spoke to a customer service advisor and this person could not understand that you can not have the ownership in one name and the policy in another. That is all she kept saying. I the asked to speak to management person and she informed me take upto three days to get in touch. The temp policy runs out tomorrow night...and she could not care less. I said i want to talk to someone who knows about insurance and she hung up - dreadful service, what mini/BMW are doing appointing them i do not know - Allianz paper too ! They would not be too happy if found out what is happening at front end
FURTHER - TRIED TO CALL BACK AS PER THEIR ADVICE AND WAS TOLD VERY BUSY AND LEAVE YOUR NUMBER - LIKE WAS TOLD YESTERDAY. STILL NOT CALLED BACK POLICY RUNS OUT. STAND BY WHAT I SAY - MICKEY MOUSE SERVICE

So after reading the policy schedule and statement of fact for mini flex car insurance I was not worried I had lost my keys. Yes I was covered yippee no excess to pay. But no!! In fact unless you get your locks as well as your keys replaced there is an excess of £250 pound. This is in the small print of the policy under the section what is not covered. Beware Mini owners this insurance provider has hidden this fact away very sneakily. Their insurance schedule says one thing and the policy something different!

This is the most awful insurance company that I have ever come across. The fact that they are endorsed by high quality car manufacturers makes my blood fizz, there is a backhander going on somewhere and it is not to the car owners!
I bought my insurance from them as I was assured all parts used would be those supplied by the manufacturers. I needed to have my windscreen replaced and it has not been one supplied by the car manufacturer. To try and contact either the windscreen replacement company or Wrisk to resolve this is leading me in ever decreasing circles.
I will NOT be buying my insurance from them next year and will save myself a fortune!

A company saying they support Land / Range Rover customers don’t waste your time. Check the forums majority owners who have tried have response of sorry cannot provide a quote from Wrisk. I asked for rational they hide behind the multiple factors in their algorithm and they don’t know which ones failed. 37 years of driving no accidents and no points so no claims not sure what stops them quoting. I asked to raise a formal complaint which they refused to uphold. Next step raise with Financial ombudsman. Land Rover needs to seriously step in because they are going to lose sales big time using this company as a partner.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Quote fluctuates by over £50 per month depending on who you speak to. They quoted me a certain figure online for my policy premium but when I called in to discuss and set up the policy , they lied through their teeth and would not honour the quoted figure. Awful customer service as well. Rude & uncooperative, just talk over their customers . Don’t use them!
P.S. Nothing was different at all between the hugely different figures I was quoted. I get the impression they just pluck numbers out of a hat at random. Please go to a more reputable company.
It’s no wonder they have 85% one star reviews!!!! Mini should disassociate themselves from these charlatans!

Absolutely appalling car insurance company masquerading as "MINI Car Insurance".
Mini.co.uk you should be ashamed at yourselves for selling "12 month free car insurance" policies on the purchase of new vehicles through this company.
New mini owners beware!
I bought a brand new mini countryman and missed out on my 12 month free car insurance included in the deal. Why? Because Wrisk Transfer did not provide the possibility of entering my address manually.
Mini were able to complete the sale of my brand new mini with my address, then why couldn't I insure it? How ridiculous is this? It's not joined up. Even with evidence of my identity provided?
I put in a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman who did not uphold my complaint. However, clearly my complaint has changed something as Wrisk Transfer now have this facility to enter the address manually.
So something has changed as a result of my complaint. All well and good for future customers.
However, I remain without my 12 month free car insurance.

Appalling customer service regarding proof of no claims bonus. They have now increased my premium as they state that they havent received proof. Despite the fact that they have. No calls, no acknowledgment of my previous complaint regarding this. Just an e mail stating that my premium is increasing. New policy.
Shocking level of customer service. Worst I've experienced in many years of car ownership with multiple insurers.

Looked to purchase through JLR and despite all questions being answered correctly, continuously told to go back and check for errors. JLR are partnering with Wrisk but got nowhere in insuring my current car let alone the new build on order. JLR are saddling purchasers with uninsurable new vehicles…..NOTE in response to Wrisk, you are linked on JLR website for their vehicles, for me: RR owner 30 years, full NCB Alarm/Tracker/Dashcam, locked in alarmed garage, non city location, no driving restrictions, 5k miles pa….Minimum Risk.Yet Wrisk (computer) tells me my info is incorrect/needs checking (It’s Accurate) Seems pointless that JLR are affiliated with Wrisk but no insurance available, happy for the £130,000 for the cars which are, to all, uninsurable.

I received a letter from this company this afternoon informing me that my car insurance on all my motors are now void because of non payment. I found this very strange as I don't drive & never have done. You can't contact them as there is no address on the letter which makes me very suspicious straight away. I will be contacting the police about the letter

Fraudulent company and no way to get hold of them by phone to query it.
Over the last 2 months I've had 3 direct debits appear on my bank account from this company. Policies I have absolutely no involvement with and a company I've never heard off.

This company advertise a "3 months free car insurance" promotion on Heycar and it's totally FAKE. I did buy my car on Heycar and all T&C that applied to this promotion were followed however I couldn't even get a quote because they classed me as a "high-risk individual" when I had never had an accident in 20+ years, no medical conditions either! I checked who the underwriter was and it has shown LV is the underwriter. I obtained a quote from LV and guess what? I was good enough to be insured! I tried to call LV to clarify why I could not be insured via Heycar/Wrisk promotion but the number on their website is not recognised....

Sent me a letter over three Vehicles I have never owned saying insurance is void WR1000042016 And the last two digits on the over two policies. Clearly have no idea what they are doing and passing the information to other fraud prevention agencies please go for it. Need to actually get the right person and address.

Got Mini Car insurance through them.
Shocking and faceless customer service.
Sent my proof of no claims through three times and each time ignored. Web chat take hours to reply.
Not sure how to understand it... Contacted their Customer Service which during 5 min conversation changed several times.
May go for it but I'd like more opinions especially from people who claimed already to see if they experienced any problems.
Pathetic. They've withdrawn the Annual product and replaced it with a monthly scheme with additional cost. Fair enough but did not notify me that the policy was coming up to renewal, and now will not cover the same car they've been insuring for the last 2 years (no change in circumstances).
Moved to Direct Line who apply a 35% premium to buy a policy starting today vs in a month's time.
How BMW manage to affiliate themselves with this company I have no idea.
My named driver was in an accident caused by the third party. It took a while to sort out as I did not notify them of a change of circumstances and they almost didn't pay out, but they did in the end. They also allowed the car to be taken to my choice of BMW Sytner garage instead of the nearest one after getting manager authorisation (they are not all the same). My car ended up being written off but they gave me a very good settlement for it and paid immediately. They also gave me a nice upgraded automatic courtesy car for 14 days, normally you get a manual banger. I wish I could stay with them but they won't insure my second driver again as he is currently unemployed and they do not insure unemployed people. If you own a BMW, get BMW insurance, I feel it would have been much more longwinded and complicated if it wasn't all under one roof.
