Gimicky waste of money
Not sure what I paid £90+ booking fees for for the 4 of us, I have 8 year old twins and I could see it was quite a poor experience. We did the wheel experience and it was phenomenal in relation to this and that too at not the extortionate price. As we queued, we were notified that there are no toilets inside and that the experience is an hour long- which genius thought of putting up a venue FOR kids under the age of 9 that it would be a practical event to have no facilities for the tiny ones up to age 9?! How clever! It wasn’t much of an immersive experience, there’s no real snow to throw snowballs at anyone, first in and no orderly queue system once everyone is in so kids like mine who are timid got pushed in the back by bigger kids despite being at the front was constantly happening. It should be a per family event in my opinion for the money that was spent. It’s a true rip off. Thanks but no thanks, I’d say at best the tickets are worth a £5- and that’s a stretch as you’re rewarded to go find a restaurant to go for a quick wee before you enter is a big put off. Before you end and just to warn you, it’s definitely nowhere near an hour experience- 20 mins max- they kept checking in the door that we weren’t clashing with the team who went in ahead of us if the ‘magic was ready for us to enter into the other doorway’ which meant that they were not on queue with their own scripts. If you were thinking of coming, you’re better off going to a grotto in John Lewis where money is well spent, you get a hot choccie, dessert and a fab gift for the kids. Thanks but no thanks ever. I don’t recommend buying tickets in advance or at the door. It’s a sure mistake. There were no reviews up when I bought the tickets or I’d have been a little more savvy
