Clear and helpful instructions to fit a sponge bar on a knitting machine

This kit for renovating the knitting machine sponge bars is superb. So easy to do. Even I can do it. A really good price and what a saving on buying new ones. Very impressed.

Prompt service securly delivered although l think l was sent the wrong sponge for the retaining bar. l will have to cut the actual sponge down and see if it fits in easily...

I have since had a response from Tracy. It was the correct sponge and she suggested what l was doing wrong it worked. Silly me.

Very happy with the purchase..packed well and delivered on time

I received what I had ordered 5 days after placing the order (which included a weekend). I ordered the SK150 spongebar set having seen the pictures and watched the helpful videos. I was able to slice it in half lengthwise with a craft knife so that it fitted an ancient SK120 machine metal guide. It was a bit fiddly but so far it seems to work OK.

This sponge fitted my Brother knitting machine perfectly and was a bargain. Xena Knits have produced an instructional video to ensure you can fit it into the sponge bar correctly, which I found extremely helpful. Thank you Xena Knits.

The needle bar replacement sponges are excellent, These save a considerable amount of money and are ecologically better than replacing the whole metal bar each time. Easy to use, if a little messy when cleaning the old sponge out. But persevere, its worth it to have a like-new experience when knitting. I have kept a few old bars over the years, and replace several songes at once so that I only have to do the messy bit every so often. I find an old carpet roll is a good way of storing the newly-sponged bars ready for use.
