I bought a dangerous wax melter from yankee candle in Chehire oaks, I brought it to the attention of yankee candle because it is very dangerous and I wanted a refund.
Yankee said the store did not belong to them and was a franchise, yet their brand name is on the recept.

One star because you cannot leave a review with clicking a star. They dont deserve one star. Terrible company, terrible customer service. Two broken large candles in a $77 order. Took pics of pieces in the shipping box, filed the form online the same day they arrived. Weeks later I got a "do you still need assistance email". After I said "yes". They asked me to provide the same info and pictures.

This is the norm when dealing with Yankee Candle online ordering.The site is glitchy drags and lags. This is the second time it didn't give me my rewards or give my 20% discount, which cost mean extra $17 this time! Reached out twice to customer service who said they see the discounts and assured me they would show up in final check out ...they did not. Emailed them again Informing them ...they never got back with me. Also could not get my $5 birthday discount. So disappointed, will have to stop using the online ordering but when I did before, I started using bath and body works candles their wicks quit burning leaving about 1/5 of candle unburnt. This is almost as bad as Arby's discontinuing potatoes cakes😭😭😭

The Yankee candle I had rough5 for me for my birthday is sending the jar black and black bits coming of wick into the candle

What a RIP OFF, first of all they made the new shape glass smaller so basically we are getting less burning time and they've increased the price to some ridiculous amount and another thing is the scent is not even there!!!!! I had yankee candle collection but now I don't give a crap about it. I've discovered another company that's way cheaper and better fragrance!!!!!!

Very nice candles. The aroma is great and they last a long time compared to others !!!

A little pricy but you get what you pay for !!!!

My fiance and me stopped and got 6 candles and spent well over 100 dollars on them and every candle we got produces black smoke even after we cut the wick back I don't know what changed with them but yankee candles never used to do this this is very disappointing

I purchased 3 separate orders from yankee candle due to they were having a sale and I was giving some away for gifts. Let me tell you, these products have to be old as you have to get up close to candle, wall plug in scent, beads in jar, and the car freshener to smell the scent and the candles all have black smoke and the candle jars inside are all black. I am so embarrassed as I gave some away for gifts and they are having the same effect with no smell unless you get up close. I truly believe all these products they shipped to me are old. I will never purchase again from yankee candle.
Bath and Body Works and glade candles smell a lot better and you can smell when you walk into my home but no yankee candle

When I am looking for an overpowering scent this is where I go. I really liked the fall selection this year!

I purchased two large jars just before Christmas to use over the festive period. They cost £14.99 per jar and neither had any fragrance whatsoever. They were supposed to be cinnamon scented, but after waiting a few hours in the hopes they would eventually start to throw scent I gave up and threw them away

Complete rip off in all honesty. Yankee used to be so good. Now they’re no better than what you can buy in pound shops. Disappointing.

VERY dishonest company! Spent 2 hours on the phone, assured me my order was canceled 3 times and then shipped it anyway. Caught them in multiple lies and one rep even told me "if he wanted to fool me he could just send me a fake email saying order was canceled". I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SHAMEFUL COMPANY AGAIN!

There customer service sucks I do not know how they are in business.If they don't have enough people or product to get up with their orders need to not sell online orders I didn't know I had to place a order 2 months in advance

I bought oil plug ins and melts
from Yankee candle. When I received the order it was all thrown in a big box without padding the oil leaked all over the box the melts were broken all over the box. I wrote customer service and they didn't respond

Sturbridge store cashier really rude more interested in getting store prepped than being nice to customers. Wish i had gotten her name.

I bought 30 candles to give as a gift to my customers on Thanksgiving, only 27 arrived, and two of them were damaged.
I spoke to Belinda Garcia at chat online, she promised me to send 3 candles that were missing and 2 more candles to replace the damaged ones. Okay, I received only 3 candles were missing, the damaged ones, I haven’t receive.

No one responds anymore… Bad
after sales service, no control and consideration for their clients at all. Very disappointed. That’s my first and last experience with Yankee Candle, for sure!!!!!

Ordered on line and they came in a timely manner and very well packed. The candles themselves have little to no smell and the smell they do have is not pleasant. Please don't go on about the virus thing my Slatkin candles smell perfectly beautiful!! So no more Yankee Candles for me!!

My second order from Yanke this time no Wickwood candles just their brand Yankee. Three candles for $50 selling as scented, but no scent. Only scent was when I blew it out, and the scent of the burning flame. Contacted customer service btw is clueless & useless. They wanted to send replacements? Why would I want to do this again? I hadn't received the return label so I called back to find out what was going on? The lady told me she taking care of it, and "don't call back". Really...I won't mention what I told her. Stay away from Yankee Candle it's not worth the headaches 🤔🥺

I purchased a "Deal" from Yankee Candle....4 Large for $50. with free shipping. I received 3 and a note saying the 4th candle was being processed. After one week I wrote and I explained that I was short one candle. I thought they charged me $50 (like they were supposed to). They wrote and said that they were out of a Fragrance so they didn't charge me.....What they did was to Charge me more for EACH OF the three candles that I received and said that they were sorry. THEY ARE OFFERING THE SAME "DEAL" 4 for $50 which is $12.50 each. What they sale you is 3 for $40= $13.33. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!

Would like to say I have been purchasing Yankee candles online and will no longer do so. In November I ordered 4 Christmas scented candles, followed tracking the item stopped/stuck In Illinois. I call let them know they tell me wait longer then call. Never received original order and they eventually sent replacements free of charge. Then my most recent purchase of 2 lilac and 2 lemon lavender big jars I open box and one of the lilac candles had broke. Glass that was missing was not even in the box leads me to believe they sent it intentionally. After several emails and phone calls asking for the pack slip as “evidence” I purchased from them, I finally said I did not keep it so after much hassle and basically insinuating I’m lying to get a free candle they are sending me a replacement FREE of charge. Beware buying from them online. They do not provide excellent customer care. I finally said you are a million maybe billion dollar company and you send me a broken candle and blame me?! Buh bye Yankee!
