I had a positive experience with Yopa when I originally listed my property, which is why I am disappointed by the way a recent issue has been handled.

In 2023, Yopa confirmed to me in writing that, having purchased a package previously, I would be able to relist my property in the future without any additional marketing fee. When I recently contacted Yopa to enquired about putting the property back on the market, I was informed by my local agent that I would need to pay again.

I raised the discrepancy with Yopa and provided the original written confirmation. Customer services acknowledged that, based on previous correspondence, there should not be any additional costs and referred the matter to colleagues who were said to be best placed to advise. Unfortunately, despite chasing for clarification, I never received a clear response or resolution.

I would not 🚫 recommend yopa to anyone not even my worst enemy.
Sloppy is not the wright work.
Not interested and don't care I'm discussed the way they conducted there combination between me and yopa you would get more information talking to a house brick.

Olivia is one of the best! She took wonderful pics and a produced a lovely write up. She was proactive throughout the selling process. Answered messages within the hour -mostly within 10 minutes!! Even when on holiday . I would definitely recommend - if in doubt give Yopa a go !! Save yourself a fortune !!!

Shocking service that unfortunately in hindsite reflects the low charges they sell their services to you on.
We were looking at selling our house in Sutton Coldfield and after contacting our local Yopa agent we arranged a vaulaution that I questioned twice (thinking it was high)and was told on both occasions they were confident it was a true reflection of the house value. We were promised regular updates, and an open house to help push the sale. We decided to agree to the pay in 10 month price regardless of sale as it was the best pricing option and we have been told with complete confidence the pricing was correct and a sale would be forth coming.
The second we signed the agent went silent. Not replying to texts, not answering phone calls.
After 90 days we have had two viewing -both of which we got no feedback from Yopa.
Clealry paying less for a service has gotten us much less, I lodged a formal complaint to Yopa who confimed receipt of it, and told me to expect a phone call as soon as possible and a written reply within 15 days. True to Yopa form this has not happened, i phoned them today to ask why and was told they had a large backlog and I was in a queue !!!! I think that says it all !!
Our experience has been awful, from the local agent and indeed the compalints department.
We have been let down on all fronts by Yopa. I have sold 5 houses in my lifetime and never had such poor service from an agent. They will be trying to take payment from me in a few months for a service that they simply have not provided - they have not addressed my compliant and I would say to people looking at using them be careful - clearly something is very wrong with this company.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Yopa for the outstanding support I received throughout the sale of my house. From the moment my property was first put on the market through to the completion of the sale, the service I received every step of the way was truly exceptional.

Having bought and sold a number of properties over the years, I can honestly say that the Yopa team stands head and shoulders above every other estate agent I have used. Their professionalism, communication, and dedication made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

I would also like to give a very special thank you to Zoe, who handled my sale from start to finish. Zoe was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. She kept me informed at every stage, even during the more stressful moments caused by an understandably anxious first-time buyer, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale on track. Her calm, reassuring approach and constant communication made a real difference, and it was an absolute pleasure working with her.

I purchased my house through Jayne and I can’t praise her enough! She was extremely helpful and considerate for viewings, second and even third viewings to measure spaces. If I ever called with a problem she was always there straight away! She made the process so easy and pointed me in the right direction for mortgage advice and helped me with documentation! Sold our house in Dunfermline using Yopa. I sent an enquiry in using the website in March, and Mark McDonald immediately contacted me and arranged a visit. Within 24 hours we had chosen Mark as our agent. His experience and advice was honest, genuine, and straight to the point.

The next stage was preparing our house for selling. Mark introduced us to Norma Keenan who visited us and provided some great hints and tips regarding presentation.

Both Mark and Norma were never anything more than a message away throughout the whole process. The communication throughout the viewing and offer process was second to none. The Yopa Hub was also a fantastic feature, too.

In the end, our house sold within four days. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the services of Yopa in Fife, and indeed I’ve already done so. Thank you, Mark and Norma, for helping make a huge change that little bit easier.

Mark at Yopa Kirkcaldy is the most professional experience and helpful Estate Agent I have ever dealt with ! Everything he said he would do was done with the utmost care consideration and attention to detail. He was available for any questions more or less 24/7….he made himself available for 12 viewers and the buyer of my property told me that she had viewed several properties and Mark was by far the best and most knowledgeable Agent she had met ! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mark to anyone in Fife looking to sell their property he was simply excellent!! I also really liked the online selling service. A text every time someone had booked to view…when it came to offers, I received four offers, again a text received for every offer made. The ability to see clearly what was going on with the sale. I could see how many people had viewed my advert, my actual house viewers left comments for me to read…all in all it was brilliant to get up every day and be able to check progress and if necessary discuss viewing and offers with Mark. I have never been given by any agent the full details of offers made on my house sale…with Yopa each person making an offer was detailed separately and ranked…so it was really easy to see what the offer was and also importantly what position the buyer was in eg still a house to sale or they had a mortgage already set up …first time buyer etc…all information needed to seriously consider there offer was collected by Yopa and given to me as the seller…brilliant..

My experience with Sophie has been fantastic. She's been extremely patient as I am a first time buyer and can not thank her enough for her guidance and patience. She's been extremely helpful getting the process moving and providing a helping hand by being a phone call away and checking to see if I'm getting on OK. Exactly what I need as a first time buyer. My experience with Yopa was unfortunately disappointing. As a first-time solo buyer, I expected more guidance and communication throughout the process, particularly as buying a home can be overwhelming when you're navigating it for the first time.

There was very little proactive communication about the process, what to expect, or how the team worked. I often found myself having to chase for updates rather than being kept informed.

On completion day, I hadn't received any information about collecting the keys, so I had to contact the Head of Office and two other colleagues via WhatsApp to find out what was happening. I was then informed that the person handling my case was on annual leave. Thankfully, one of the colleagues kindly met me to hand over the keys despite also being on annual leave, and I really appreciated their willingness to help.

While I'm grateful that someone stepped in to ensure I could access my property, I was disappointed by the overall level of communication and support. Better planning, clearer communication and appropriate cover during staff leave would have made the experience much smoother and far less stressful. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the level of service I was expecting.

We used Yopa for both buying and selling our house, and the entire process was made easy thanks to Callum and Emily. Callum, the owner, and Emily, our Sales Progression & Negotiator, went above and beyond at every stage. Both were kind, considerate, and genuinely wonderful to work with.

Whenever we needed to speak with them, they were available — no waiting around, no chasing for updates. They answered every question honestly and promptly, and guided us through each step of the process with clear communication and expert advice. Their deep knowledge of the local market gave us real confidence in every decision we made along the way.

If you're looking to buy or sell, I can't recommend Callum, Emily, and the whole Yopa team highly enough. They're simply the best.
