York Armoury deserve every ounce of praise for their customer service ⭐️ They went above and beyond. Three days after I placed my order I received a phone call from York Armoury to tell me the katanas which I had originally ordered were not in stock. Yes this was a little bit frustrating, however the staff did not make up any excuses and apologised sincerely. They were very straight with the reasons behind this mistake, which I greatly appreciated. From here they stayed on the phone to me for half an hour, recommending alternatives whilst I scrolled through their website. Not only did they do this but they gave me a massive discount on another katana to express their apologies. They also then upgraded my shipping from standard to express. Do not believe any of the negative reviews about customer service on the internet, because their service has prompted me to write my very first review of my life 😁 I would recommend this business to anyone!

Do not order from the website of this shop. I ordered a katana which was shown as in stock but was then told that it was unavailable. I was offered a choice of a few katanas that were available, some of which were too expensive so I ordered a cheaper one. The item arrived but did not have the certificate with it which I was expecting. When I questioned this I was sent a certificate for the item that was out of stock. I still have not received a refund for the overpayment several weeks later. The website is still showing items as in stock and available to order even though they are not.

I’ve bought a couple of items from here and they’ve both been fantastic value for money . Both items are unofficial versions of movie swords and tbh they are that good I think you’d struggle to justify the cost of buying the official versions ! Loads of communication from the company kept me updated on my orders too .

Really good prompt service. The larp sword I ordered is of very high quality durable foam. Nice paint job. And a great price compared with their competitors in the cosplay market. Highly recommended

Bought Samurai swords and kill bill sword online from this store and they were delivered to my house fully boxed and protected from any damage.
Great products which were bought as Xmas gifts .
Every time I visit York this is the first shop I visit .
It's full of exciting products on two floors and very friendly staff..
Cannot wait til my next visit or even ordering from their website again.

Extremely happy with product (Reforged Sword of the King (in a sheath)), cannot wait to give it to my boyfriend for Christmas! A couple of hiccups with delivery but staff were incredibly helpful and it arrived in excellent condition yesterday. Thanks - would definitely recommend!
