This is not the original Yorkshire Linen Company, based in Spain and the UK. The company closed its UK operations, but sold the title. Sadly, the products sold by the new owners are nothing like the original company's previous quality. Beware of very inferior goods. The original company still trades in Spain and sells excellent quality products.

I visited the Marbella store recently with my daughter in search of curtains. We were looked after by the lovely Helen. Genuinely eager to help & advise but they didn't have the size in stock. She immediately contacted the store in Mijas & organised for pick up there Payment was made for curtains & some cushions which we took with us & collection of the curtains was a doddle. 10/10 for Service with a Smile!!

I ordered curtains from Yorkshire Linen as I was having a larger window installed and wanted them to match the existing curtains on the other three windows in the room, also bought from Yorkshire Linen.

The service was very good with one minor hiccup, however I was very disappointed with the quality.

The new curtains are of a MUCH poorer quality than those I previously purchased however there does not appear to be any price reduction to reflect this. I will keep the curtains rather than replace the curtains on the other three windows in the room (even though the design is very slightly different) but I am very disappointed. I understand that Yorkshire Linen have been bought as they went into administration - if the new owners are going to reduce quality to this extent I don't think I would be confident buying from them again.

UPDATE: Yorkshire Linen got on the case and addressed my frustrations fully. Definitely upgraded themselves to five stars on this one! For this level of service after a complaint I would definitely go back to them and recommend them.

Outstanding Customer Service
I recently ordered a duvet cover from Yorkshire Linen which, although dispatched very quickly, went missing at the Hermes sorting hub. Debbie at Yorkshire Linen did everything she could to chase up the parcel and then arranged for a replacement to be sent via another courier. She kept me informed of the progress and dealt very sympathetically and efficiently with my problem. The duvet cover has now arrived and I am really pleased with it. It is a lovely colour with a delicate jacquard flower pattern on it. The duvet cover itself was not expensive but everything was done to ensure my complete satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yorkshire Linen. They have a lovely range of household linen. I enjoy even looking at the website!
