Absolute scammers
We engaged YourShortlist because their offering seemed great - you buy pre-qualified leads, and if they don't engage, you get your money back. What's not to love?
Well, a few things:
1) The leads are always terrible quality, and either don't engage or, if they do, are usually quite annoyed because they have no interest in your services. I've accepted 35 leads from them to date and never had a single meaningful conversation. Not a single one.
2) In order to get a refund you have to go through an incredibly time consuming process and then evidence that you've followed that process. Because all the leads are trash, this is a huge waste of time.
3) Even if you do evidence that you spent hours on a wild goose chase trying to pin down someone who never had any intention of engaging, YourShortlist will claim they were able to reach the prospect themselves and set up a call by shoving a calendar invite in your diary without any communication. You'll attend the meeting, nobody else will show up, and YourShortlist will refuse the refund because apparently this random calendar invite with no attendees absolves them from refunding you.
They constantly move the goalposts to stop you getting refunds to the point where the whole process is so arduous and time consuming that you just don't bother anymore.
Honestly, probably the worst engagement I've had with a supplier and a huge waste of time and money. You'd be better off just burning your money in your garden - at least you wouldn't then be forced to spend hours and hours of your time trying to get your credit refunded.
Avoid at all costs...
Misleading selling on of my personal data
I engaged with YourShortlist via a speculative call from them. While I concur that they were able to put us in touch with one provider who we have included in our shortlist (so I felt I needed to give 3 stars), it seems that they have "sold"/passed on my details to innumerable suppliers and I am now inundated with irrelevant emails. This never happened prior to my engagement with YourShortlist. This was not what we agreed to. I would not use them again.
Avoid YourShortlist – A Lead Generation Scam
We invested several thousand euros with YourShortlist, expecting quality leads, but what we got was absolute garbage. Many leads didn’t answer our contacts, others had no idea what we were talking about, some were just fishing for competitor pricing while already working with another provider, and others had no clue what their own project was about. Basically ALL the prospects HAD NO INTEREST in the project.
There was ZERO verification of leads from YourShortlist’s team, yet they enforce EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE and unreasonable refund policies to make sure you never get your money back. This is their business model: send worthless leads and trap you in a bureaucratic maze to deny refunds.
I even received emails confirming that the leads were bad, but my claim was denied due to a “wrong category” submission—just one of many tactics they use to avoid accountability.
This is not a company that aims to provide value by connecting businesses with quality prospects. It’s a cash-grab operation that resells the same low-quality leads to multiple companies to maximize their profits. Just take a look at Trustpilot—negative reviews are piling up. I wish I had checked before investing.
As for the positive reviews? Let’s be real—many seem suspicious, likely bought from one-time reviewers. A fellow scammed company pointed this out, and I couldn’t agree more.
If you value your money, stay far away from YourShortlist.
Don’t waste your time or your money!
Their so called “leads” are non-existent and contacts never recall signing up to YourShortlist services. Furthermore, they make up the rules as they go in terms of pass back criteria and your “lead” credit has an expiry date. Bunch of sharks just trying to make a quick buck- do not use.

I had a very positive experience!
I had a very positive experience with Your Shortlist who put me in touch with compelling suppliers to offer something a bit different from what we are used to. Melanie Gregory was absolutely excellent. Professional and personable making her a real pleasure to work with. Thank you!
So far so good
So far so good , I have only had initial contact with a lovely lady named Clare who was extremely polite, efficient and knowledgeable.
I anticipate good things
Not a lead generation company
Firstly, take a look at all the positive reviews on here. Many are written by people with only 1 review. That tells you everything you need to know about this company.
We invested £5000 with YourShortList and have regretted it since day 1. Most leads provided don't respond to your calls and emails, and trying to get these credited back through the 'pass back' process is designed to be difficult at every stage.
I've long suspected too that the leads are sold many times over, even though it's claimed they are restricted to a small number.
We agreed a 'warm handover' process with our account manager, meaning the lead should be properly qualified and expecting our call. Even with this, we had leads that still didn't respond. YSL took no accountability for this and have even tried to refuse pass backs on leads they couldn't contact themselves!!
If you look at the company legal configuration of YourShortList, it's been carefully engineered to avoid legal challenges, by having a shell company in Scotland and operations overseas.
We've not had a single positive lead or any business generated through YSL. Think very very carefully before considering this company for your lead generation and do proper due diligence first.

Title: Serious Concerns About Transparency, Ethics, and Employee Care.
As a former employee of Pursuit Marketing/YourShorlist, my experience revealed significant concerns about the company’s commitment to trust, transparency, and ethical business practices. Below are some observations I feel are important to share.
Key Areas of Concern
Trust and Transparency in Business Practices:
Employees were often asked to represent top-tier software providers under the guise of a shadow company, a practice that raises serious ethical questions. Furthermore, leads generated through these efforts were allegedly resold multiple times without the original client’s consent, potentially violating agreements and creating a poor experience for both clients and prospects.
GDPR Compliance Risks:
The repeated use and resale of lead opportunities, often without explicit permission from the original client, raises concerns about compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR. A clearer commitment to legal and ethical data handling practices would significantly improve the company’s reputation and client trust.
Neglect of Duty of Care for Employees:
Workplace practices often lacked support and transparency. Employees were subjected to delayed or denied holiday approvals despite following proper processes, leading to unnecessary stress and hardship. Additionally, the lack of clarity in bonus and commission structures, coupled with delayed payments and inconsistencies in pension contributions, created a culture of uncertainty and mistrust.
Contractual and Ethical Obligations:
Instances of contractual changes without proper communication, and discrepancies in the enforcement of statutory rights such as minimum wage back-pay, reflect poorly on the company’s commitment to employee welfare and legal compliance.
Workplace Environment and Culture:
The company fostered a culture where employees were hesitant to voice concerns due to fears of being ignored or retaliated against. HR responses were often inadequate or dismissive, contributing to a lack of trust in internal processes.
Positive Potential:
The companies have clear strengths in lead generation and fostering a high-performance sales culture. However, addressing these serious issues—particularly those related to ethical practices, transparency, and employee care—would be crucial for building long-term trust with employees, clients, and partners.
Final Thoughts:
A commitment to ethical business practices, compliance with data protection laws, and improved employee care could significantly enhance the company’s reputation and workplace culture. It is my hope that YourShortlist and Pursuit Marketing and the 4iCG holding group takes these concerns as an opportunity for meaningful improvement.

Appalling service
Appalling service. Premise that they provide qualified leads to a select number of partners is totally misleading. Quality of the leads are awful, shared amongst numerous partners rather than stipulated 4, passback facility misrepresented and communication is non-existent. On top of that they will continually create a "new" service which is in fact part of original service and then try to charge more. Avoid at all costs

Poor Service, Unresponsive Leads -Avoid this company at all costs.
Our experience with Yourshortlist has been frustrating and disappointing, primarily due to the poor service provided by both our account manager.
We raised concerns about the quality of the leads as far back as July, but despite numerous follow-ups, our emails were largely ignored. No one from their team provided timely or meaningful responses, leaving us with unresolved issues and mounting frustration.
The leads we received were consistently of poor quality—many were completely unresponsive, while others didn’t show up for scheduled calls. Even after we followed their lead return process and rebooked some leads, the results were the same: unresponsive prospects and wasted resources. As a result, we achieved 0 ROI despite significant time and effort on our part.
The sales process was also misleading. We were promised high-quality, exclusive leads and reliable support, yet the reality was far from what was presented. Leads were often contacted by multiple providers, and the lack of exclusivity made it impossible to stand out or secure any value from the service.
The lack of communication from their team compounded these issues. For weeks, our emails went unanswered, and every attempt to escalate concerns was met with silence. This level of neglect and poor customer service is unacceptable.
Despite formally requesting a refund for the unused credits, our concerns were brushed aside with vague responses and no resolution. The refusal to acknowledge the failure of their service or accommodate a refund further underscores their lack of accountability.
In summary, Yourshortlist delivered unresponsive leads, poor support, and absolutely no return on investment. I would strongly advise against using this service. It has been a costly and frustrating mistake that I wouldn’t wish on any business. Avoid this company at all costs.

If only we could select a Zero star…
If only we could select a Zero star rating ....
I just sent them this email again. The last one I sent to Megan, fell on deaf ears.
Hi Megan
I have been in business for 34 years in the IT and Security sector.
In all that time, we have never ever dealt with a company that gave us such poor service and we feel totalled mislead and cheating by your company.
We have had 0% success rate and that was due to the quality of leads. So many “leads” that we called said that had up to 10 calls for the same lead. You company promised that only 3 providers will be allocated the leads. When we asked for reports and this subject, you declined. We tried to follow your lead return process and eventually gave up for reason already in writing to you.
We have done a lot of research in the IT security in the UK as everyone who used your services, without fail, had the same experience as us.
I so wished we did our research before signing up. See Google reviews below. 2.5 for 99 reviews shouts volumes.
We have had to write the money invested off and all we can do now is that share our experience with every IT company in the UK.
Honestly, I am flabbergasted how your company can get away with this time after time.
Last time you did not respond to my email, and I doubt if you will respond this time.

CEO - Security Everywhere Ltd
PS: Please please please never ever waste your money on using this company like we did.

Small business opportunities
As a small business YSL has provided a useful service by funnelling potential leads to us which we can choose to engage with or not. For us, it is an efficient way of doing things.
Corrupt
You have to prove you have tried contacting a lead 3 times by phone and same by email and if unsuccessful pass it back. However they can tell you they contacted the lead after and not prove it then put it back in your dashboard and charge you and you can do nothing about.

Good lead source
I've worked with YSL for over a year and overall the experience has been good. The majority of leads we receive are accurate and ready to engage.
A Total Waste of Time and Money. AVOID!
Not worth a penny of your money or a second of your time - Avoid!
I was taken in by the promise of "genuine warm leads" and that "prospects would reach out to Your Shortlist" as they would have a real need for a service and there was no cold calling involved. Not true.
The leads are either fake, or these so called prospects have been cold called and badgered so much by Your Shortlist that they have given their details over just to get them off the phone.
Having spent thousands in lead credits and attempted to contact so called 'Warm Prospects' multiple times, not a single one has has been willing to engage and the majority have been very frosty at the mention of Your Shortlist. Many stated they didn't have a requirement or interest and had been contacted by Your Shortlist and they hadn't reached out to them, as there wasn't a need to.
The passback lead process is pointless and they spout the same rehearsed response to any concerns or complaints raised, if they respond at all, that they follow a "3 point quality assurance check" and "other partners haven't had any issues." All of whihc they can't or won't substantiate.
Having raised multiple concerns and complained about the quality of the 'leads' and service, I requested a refund for my remaining funds they hold as credits and was told they don't offer refunds and I'd need to requests leads to run down the credit left. All of which is pointless as the 'leads' are worthless.
I find it extremely difficult to believe the positive reviews about this company are genuine, but cue their default scripted response to this review as they have responed to the other negative reviews.
